Thoughts on Lanard products?
>>6121105
They look cheap as fuck but I'm a sucker for gorilla figures.
I've never even heard of this company until now. Was the King Kong toy license undesirable enough that Lanard was the only company who seriously sought after it?
They're shit.
No one should support british products
Only good thing about them is that their oversized guns are cheap ways of getting guns in 1:12 scale.
>>6121105
The soldiers literally looks like DG brand
>>6121105
The solider really should be micro machine sized, like the old Kong toys.
Still gonna buy that kong tho
I might pick up that Kong to put with my big NECA Legendary Godzilla.
>>6121124
>No one should support british products
subjectanon, why are you so xenophobic? first Japan, now Britain? Did your granpappy died in WW2 like a bitch?
>>6121124
For the price you pay they're totally fine. Besides. Hasbro has had GIJoe toys dead in the water since Retaliation so they fill the 1/18th slot of military figures they left behind.
>>6121105
Where to buy them?
I like the jeep and shack of this line.
>>6121107
it's legs look like bamboo sticks
>>6121438
Walmart.
>>6121400
won't scale at all. it will with jakks pacific g'14
>>6121105
Is that a fucking C.O.R.P.S toy?
>>6121453
Damn.
And for us yurop?

pic related
does any one know if there's a cargo plane on the movie? maybe they reissue this if there is one in the movie.
>>6121466
Wat.
>>6121470
That osprey belongs belongs to another company, Chap Mei. Does similar stuff to Lanard but they do not share molds.
>>6121456
Yes
idk this no armed big legged dino thing looks pretty cool. and looks like all the figures are corps/retired joe molds. As long as the plastic is good, and the line is cheap, I'll prolly pick some up.
>>6121470
Wait, isn't kong fucking huge in this one? how does one osprey carry his ass?
>>6121470
I wish Chap Mei would release that. And the fucking cargo helicopter too while they're at it.
>>6121658
Oh nice. Here's hoping.
And maybe their old fantasy molds or the dino-rider stuff.
>>6121639
>cargo helicopter
You mean the chinnok?
>>6121689
Nope, this kind.
I'm like 80% sure they had one in one of their dino lines.
I'm digging the Kong Figure (not the nonarticulated legs though) Funny how all of a sudden Jakks Pacific Godzilla isn't being sold for bargin basement discounts $100 and up now .... hmmmm ...Seems people see a good combo 24 inch G14... 18 inch Kong. Sorry for those that got rid of their JP G14 figs prices are climbing fast.
>>6121105
Besides leg articulation being shit and the lack of recognizable chsracters it is better then most shit these days.
>>6121408
>he's this butthurt
>>6121625
>Monarch
They're setting up for Godzilla vs King Kong already.
>>6121693
mmm can't find shit on this.
I would be all over it if it existed.
>>6122026
Yeah, they said that Monarch was the connecting factor back when they announced the crossover. I assume that's who Goodman's character works for.
>>6121105
Curious how expensive Kong here will be. If its under $40, I'm getting one for myself, and my nephew. Too bad most big Godzillas are too big or too small to go toe-to-toe with it(yes I know a bigger Godzilla would be in scale, but still)
>>6121470
Where's this pic from? Wanna get a better look at that Kong
>>6121801
Got mine because of a future living room design I wanna work on( cityscape) and big Kong here just sweetens the deal
Lanard sounds like it should be the name of a brand of butter
>passed down on the jeep with the huge weapons runner and the soldier with a horse
>want them now but can't find either anywhere
>>6121801
That Godzilla figure was one people where it was easy to nitpick over it when it was easily available but in hindsight it was such a killer deal it almost makes up for any shortcomings. I mean, its a big freaking Godzilla. The type every kid would've wanted, and the type of thing you wish you had. Yeah its no X-plus, but it just radiates fun. I wish I got more when the huge K-mart by me had a ton. Hell, they might still have them, I haven't been there in years.
>>6121105
>Thoughts on Lanard products?
They're pretty cool. Grew up with them when they were still doing O Ring figures so they were interchangeable with my GI Joes.
Also new figures going forward are going to have the new ball jointed hips. JC and the Lanard forums have photos of the prototypes of one of the two new male characters. The only thing they're missing are swivel wrists and they'd be perfect.
>>6122533
wow cool prototype pics faggot.
>>6121105
Amused at Dozer (a Corps character) showing up to fight Kong.
Other than that, honestly, the Corps figures I have from Lanard are crazy cheap and have equal or better articulation that the new 5poa star wars figs, and are more generic than the 3 3/4 marvel figs, so it'll be nice to have some more poseable guys on store shelves fighting to bring the 3 3/4 scale back.
Plus, seriously. This company is a cheaper brand, but the last thing I bought from them was a 2-pack with a repacked bad guy and new female buck with impressive articulation and five accessories... for five bucks. Assuming the Kong licensed product tax doesn't make their stuff jump up too high, I'm looking forward to buying some of this stuff.
I just hope the monsters get more articulation/focus next time around.
>>6122026
Yeah. It's actually the fourth movie in the planned series.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godzilla%E2%80%93Kong_(film_series)
Guess they want the big splash to gauge interest before they see if it's worth doing more obscure monsters.
>>6121107
does that fucking jeep say "JP- then a serial number" like every goddamn jurassic park toy?
>>6121410
>For the price you pay they're totally fine
No, they're shit and a complete was of money.
Shit is shit and not worth shit.
Well, unless you're only buying them to strip them of their oversized weapons for your 1:12 figures.
But the figures themselves? As close to literal shit as you can get in a toy.
>>6121426
The assholes this shit was dumped by was proudly eaten, masticated and dissolved in Chavland. Their HQed in Hong Kong, but a lot of that shit was european until the last decade, where they slowly closed other branches down.
It's a sad sad legacy of making shit for poor kids and the official toyline of Walmart.
>>6123175
>As close to literal shit as you can get in a toy.
Mafex says hi.
