Figma knees have always had kind of like a sculpted kneecap on the top leg? But it seems really bad on this one. If you straighten her leg out all the way it looks like there's a weird offset. I realize now most of the figmas I have are wearing boots or something so it hasn't been a thing I've personally noticed in a while.

The hips have the same problem as the original Figma Samus, which I shouldn't have been surprised by. The balljoints the legs connect to are at the bottom of the leg hole, so a lot of outward motion looks really terrible.

Though the legs I hear are better since you can pull them out for more range ala the old figuarts joints, though done worse.
I mean overall it's the Other M ZSS. The most it should do is lie dead on the ground, cry, run away with Adams helmit after beating Phantoon if you go back after the "ending" of the game, and generally be a wimp. It's how she was in game after all.

The tank comes with the black part of the stand in the pics and a long clear plastic tube.

All I do is cut the plastic tube in half and just plug it in. It'll be apparent when you open the contents of the tank when you buy it.

That's fucking clever. For a metroid display tank, a green color would be neat, or just using clear along with the LEDs to make it whatever color would work too.

The main setbacks I'm thinking of is that's gonna be kind of a lot of waterbeads to fill up the whole fish tank, minus the area of the Metroid. But also, due to the material of the Metroid's head, I'm not sure water would be the best thing for it. The water beads absorb the water and grow and become clear, but I'm not sure if they still feel dry or are wet to touch. If they're still wet to touch or when squished slightly, the Metroid will be exposed to moisture and I'm sure that could cause some damage.

A good test could be using one of the 2 inch Metroid figures in a cup of those things and seeing how that fares too.

Why do you all love Figma so much? They don't make that great of a figure anymore. SH Figuarts style and quality would suit Falcon so much better. Figma is overpriced and they've barely used any of their new technology on anything. I'm not trying to pit SHF vs Figma, I own plenty of Figma, but you guys need a reality check. Figma isn't the answer to everything. They're better suited for a VERY specific anime style.

I feel a Figuarts would be best for Falcon since he is basically a Toku Bugman in a different outfit. A falcon kick is basically a rider kick and they already nailed that articulation. Throw in a flame effect and he is perfect.

Man, it's nice to see figuarts get some love here. I've been pretty happy with my recent figuarts stuff, while most of the non moe-blob figmas have been lazy/shit. Not to mention the price point, figuarts Captain Falcon would be 40 ish bucks and come with kick effects and a ton of hands at the very least. Jew Factory would charge 60+ for a mushy headed sculpt with the falcon punch effect being a jewsmile web exclusive.
