ITT we talk about toys we were hype for but only ended up disappointed.
Sonicron
>first attempt at a ree-dun cassette player
>first 3p Soundwave
>$50 retail
>complete shit plastic tolerances, loose limbs, misaligned parts, the list goes on
I will never get over this
Generations Springer and Mezco DKR Batman.
Autists have overhyped those two to the point of hilarity, when they're mediocre releases at best.
Basically every single Marvel Legends War Machine and Iron Man that can't do an the ground slam pose.
SHMA Shin Godzilla
My smells so fucking bad and the paintjob is rather messy
This asshole. I love corvettes, I love giant robots, it should have been perfect. Instead he had the most bullshit fiddly transformation I can remember, shitty range on the important joints, flimsy panels everywhere and a robot mode that barely held together. The tiny version of blaster he came with ended up being the best thing in the box, at least my 6" stuff can use it.

It's a little nuts how many they've made with the exact same hip setup that's barely functional. There's a lot of stuff to nitpick in the line in general, but screwing up one of your flagship characters so consistently is sort of impressive.

What issues do you have with Gen. Springer, aside from things not tabbing 100% and I guess the head being a bit tight when it goes through the chest?
I have high standards and that toy was really good for me.

You already mentioned/ pictured figma Snake so I'll post my runner up.
Op here, I'd also like to mention this fucking mess. Who wires the bottom of the cape instead of the sides?
It hurt so much.

He's an autist who spams the Transformers general with this retard tier opinion. Ignore him.

It's incredible how shitty this turned out in terms of sculpt. Tiny, shitty armor engineering, god awful proportions. Articulation's fine, but who gives a fuck how well it moves when it looks like shit and is completely unimpressive. It's gotta say something that you can get it below MSRP a year after its release, despite almost all other DBZ SHF jumping in price at least a little.
Everything Neca has ever made.
Ever.

I feel that. I really wanted Servo/Gridman since the old SHSS figures were so much fun as a kid. Then all the reviews came out...
This guy, a shame since his robot mode is great and his lion mode is garbage.
>>6110901
Yeah, I was gonna go with autism too.
>>6110801
Welp thanks for answering my question in the toku general. Damn shame really.

I don't know about the wrist, but that shoulder isn't a break, its able to do that.
>>6110398
Oh god yes, the sage version is like a completely different company made the first one.
Bump?
I expected them to be NECAs very own monsterarts line but all they did was make 6 Knifeheads, 2 Otachis, and a King Kong vinyl. They didn't even get to some of the other prominent kaiju from the movie.

How good is the articulation on NECA figures. I usually only buy Nip figs, because they are really fun to pose.

challenging.
