If they use a stock photo of the figure or no figure, expect to get something their dog chewed up. But in your favor, ebay ridiculously favors buyers over sellers. You would almost certainly be able to get a refund if you aren't happy. Or if you just want to rip the guy off.

My SHF Shoretroopers arrived.

Definitely a step in the right direction after Jango. Still not quite as perfect as some of the earlier releases QC-wise, but overall nice, sharp-looking figures with some great articulation. I especially like their ankle rockers, which go really deep.

The joints are kinda stiff, some parts are loose, and the stand is a little iffy but the appearance of this guy is spot on god damn. Very impressed.

Star Wars doesn't have as many bigger guys that would have to be BAFs and Hasbro doesn't make large enough BAFs for them to really make figures of any creatures.

So you'd either have small figures who have no business being BAFs being sold piece by piece, which generally isn't received well with Legends, or you'd get creatures that are too small and out of scale which people would also complain about. Same would go for the majority of vehicles.

My thoughts exactly, and I even liked KOTOR. I'd call him well done overall, but he's got enough little problems to make paying over retail sting. So far, Sabine is the unexpected star of the wave, and I'd go so far as to call her the first black series female that isn't garbage.

I realize sabine kind of dodges the face paint thing on a technicality because of the helmet, but but still. Figure 1, DKR Batman: needed replacement parts, eventually broke
Figure 2, ASM2 Spideman: joint tolerances are a mess but nothing ever broke
Figure 3, Mafex Boba Fett: great figure with some minor issues, all of which I was able to fix

That sucks man. I just did the Boba Fett kit I got for X-mas and had a damn good time. I usually repaint the BS figures anyway so I figured might as well have fun building the whole thing. Although I did fuck up on the waterslides, for some reason they aren't sticking after drying and I guess I need some kind of setting solution. If it left too much talcum, it's likely you didn't shake the can enough. Heating it also helps in the mixture mixing better, just don't be a retard in heating it higher than body temperature.

The POINT of model kits is that all the parts are separated, so you can achieve a much finer level of detail than any mass-produced, pre-built figure can provide.

Why not just buy the Hasbro Stormtrooper instead? It already has all almost everything that should be painted painted. Probably the only thing you can do to it to make it better is add/spray a layer of high gloss to the white armor.

Pretty pointless to buy the Stormtrooper model, unless you want a slightly easier time doing a custom paint job (slightly because you'll need to wash Hasbro's to get all the lube off in order for the paint to fully stick on)

The shoulders are fine. The problem is more in the neck being a bit short (can be fixed with a bit of paper in the joint to raise the head up). I believe the Sandtrooper kit addressed this issue.

As for the Black Series Stormtrooper, it's not easily available where I live. And factoring what I would pay for shipping online, it's actually cheaper to buy the model kit.
