Is it worth it or am I better off just settling for the NECA one?

replace the body with something else and its pretty good imo. Its from that era of sideshow where they were desperately trying to match the their quality with hot toys and failing miserably but most everything about it is good except for the poor articulation and replacing the body is easy. I personally used a World Box body on mine.

Sideshow's bodies never improved. Even current stuff needs a replacement body, at least $25 off-brand but quality bodies, often HT clones, do exist.
