I have this guy. Got him on sale for $10 usd. I would't recommend them at all, even for that price. They are absolute shit, wobbly as hell, the joints are really loose, can't hold his gun, leg articulation is a joke and the pieces fall apart without even touching them. Check jangs review. I thought all his comments were exageration, but these things are pretty terrible unless some heavy modding is done.

I was bummed out that by the time I had money to spend TRU was mostly out of stock, went there yesterday while things were still on sale and they had barely any Halo or CoD. I did at least get the Kodiak for 1/2 price and the Bradley for something like 30% off so there was that at least.

Almost seemed like TRU was looking to clear all MB except the TMNT stuff, though the latter is on sale there almost every other week. TRU Canada's website had very little left too, I hope this is just a temporary thing, aside from unreliable Walmarts there aren't many places round here to get MB after Target quit.

They look like good sets, more expensive than i would have thought (and hoped), $60 australian once shipped for a panzer IV (or $100 from cobi themselves), thats basically lego price for the amount of blocks, do you know if anywhere has them cheaper, i couldnt find them on aliexpress.

Though i did find this, it kinda looks like cobi from some of the pics and the figures but its twice as big, anyone seen/ bought it before. $50 AUD including postage for a 1200 piece set sounds pretty great.

Hey I just built that Covenant watchtower, it's a fun little set and way more durable than the older ones.

One of these days I want to set up a Covenant firebase. I've got the Tyrant AA gun, three watchtowers, plenty of Shade turrets of all flavours, a pair of Phantoms and just about every vehicle you can think of. Might try and moc a gravlift platform too.

Finally got bootleg Gwenpool by Decool.

The minifig comes already fully assembled inside the bag, unlike the usual chink bootleg minifigs with unassembled limbs.

My main complaints are two noticeable flaws:
- one mismolded accessory; instead of two identical katanas, I got a shorter sword but eh, I can say it's a wakizashi or replace it,
- one chipped white spot right inside the mouth.

Other than that I'm surprised by the improvement of the chinese ripoffs minifig print quality. It's printed in the front, back and sides of the legs, arms and torso. It uses a curved female torso like the custom Arealight torsos.
I'm used to it but you can notice small smudges and little molding seams.

It costs next to nothing so I recommend if you want her and can get it for cheap I would suggest getting two so you can exchange parts if needed.

Local walmart started putting out new TMNT stuff. Movie figs were $1 each so went through 3 of the 4 full cases and built a Foot Squad. Bebop/Rocksteady packs were $4 each so got one of each for more toon Foot Bots. The sewer lair from the 2012 series was only $9 so got one of those as well.

I have that guy and the fire copter, fun little builds with silly microfigs.

Found these at Dollarama once, there were several others but I only had a few bucks on me. Quality is really good, I intended to go back and get as many as I could for that sweet army green but they've since vanished from the shelves, replaced by BanBao mini sets that are overpriced and not as good.

Indeed, it's better than getting a whole rainbow of figures in a single series.
Now any figure out of a particular series will blend with any other figure from that series, which is great for building cohesive units.

I bought a handful of those sets. Most of them are basically the same vehicle with cosmetic changes. That tank's turret doesn't turn due to the driver's placement. They're kind of fun in a "Mighty Micros" sort of way, I guess? In the end, I felt like my money would have been better spent on one single set with a larger parts inventory. They've barely done Halo 2 sets at all, and belatedly at that. One figures pack with Tartarus and Brute Captains, the Shadow with Prophet Truth and Sergeant Johnson, a battlescape with Enforcer, Covenant Spectre, that's all really. Flood Invasion has an infected Ghost but there's also Tank Forms and an active-camo Flood, Halo 3 and CE respectively.

Halo Wars 2 is likely to take up the line for the next while but who knows, they're still making Reach stuff and this year is Halo 3's 10th anniversary so they might be doing something for that. I don't know about the Heretics though, it was a relatively minor subplot and MB sets as a whole have been strictly humans vs Covenant with some Flood and Prometheans (and a few Red vs Blue), even the Smuggler Intercept set only has a pair of UNSC figs, no actual smugglers. I'd love to see the Heretics get some representation but odds aren't in favor of it.

I'm mostly just interested in getting a set of muted colors / brown shelled turtle (like that came with Android Krang) but I picked up mutagen cannister Mikey and Stockman yesterday along with two more movie foot soldiers.

The dark green, silver shell, and gold chucks actually looks pretty great.

Stockman might get reported into mini Dr Mindbender for my eventual MB Joes though.

They really are, man. They've basically made tiny GI Joe and love them for it. Halo and CoD saved MB and in turn they revolutionized minifigures imo. If they just had a ball jointed waist so that it could "crunch" some they would be 11/10. They can shoulder weapons, hold katanas two handed, do three-point crouches. It's crazy.

The neck piece comes off no problem, but I've also not seen the new TMNT so I have no real reason to look at him and say "that's a foot solider", it just reads standard tech ninja fare. And the red on his arms gives me just enough hint of the arashikage symbol.

If the Halo series comes to an end I doubt the line will outlive it for long without new things to make sets. CoD games are on the decline, MB would do well to try and get the Battlefield license, wouldn't even need to change much.

I really thought MB was doomed towards the end of the first series of halo sets / WoW, but they've clearly rallied and have no issue pumping out new sets.

The never will, but if they got the Joe / Transformers brick licenses I would go crazy. Can you imagine actual licensed Joe minifigs with Transformers brick vehicles? It would be awesome.

Just built mine over the weekend, i rly love Shredder btw. As for the wagon itself - only one part i got messed up on. One of the doors has a problem closing - it's the one with the gun attached to it.

Other then that - it took me a lil while to build - about three to four hours. I had to keep stopping due to me suddenly not seeing pieces - just my mind saying stop.

I also got it on sale - like 17 bucks - so i felt it was worth that change.

Yeah but MInimates gets around on their TMNT minimates by making them "keychains." The Aliens and Predator probably has a separate deal than TMNT since they don't have those keychains around their necks.

There seriously had to be a different team in charge of the Power Rangers line than the people behind TMNT/CoD/Halo. This is kind of atrocious.

Any idea if there was a picture for Charizard? Or was that Amazon link blank before getting pulled down? The idea of articulated Pokemon in any form is appealing me, and if they look good I might have to go near all in. Hopefully they're to scale too. You know what else you could use is some of that terry cloth/micro fiber cloth for wiping screens. Since the weave is ultra small it should conform around the contours of the figure really well. Just cut it out in the design of the Lego cape so it can fit around the neck peg. I'll cut this one in a minute and get back to you on how it works out

Technically yes, officially we're still missing Dare. One of the original Drop Pod sets featured a Recon ODST which was essentially Dare, had a really limited release.

For the rest:

I hope we get a Dare down the road, and a re-release of Mickey in a smaller set.

I hope that Mega Construx will reveal The Pokemon sets at New York Toy Fair this week.I'm happy that they have returned.
