I'm going to Knoxville in a few days. Are there any places you all can recommend where I can buy vintage figures, figmas, etc? I'm a big transformers guy if that helps.

Seattle has some nice stores too. But yeah, otherwise you're in bad shape anywhere else in the US if you're looking for anything import/high end.
I'm in Philly/NJ but I get that stuff on the internet anyway. Only in-person toy shopping i do is the occasional fleamarket hunt.
I can't imagine what life is like where Knoxville is the big city.
Knox area anon here. There's not much as far dedicated toy shops go, but there are two good stores that you can stop by.
First is Sci-Fi City, which is located in the Knoxville Center Mall. It's your usual comic book/game store. But they do have some figures. Plus, it's clean & brightly lit, which is more than i can say for most other comic book shops. BTW, Last time I was in that mall there was also a "Collectables" store on the second story around the food court. It may be gone, but worth checking out if your stopping at Sci-Fi City.
Next place is McKay's Books & Music. It's a bit north of West Town Mall. You can see it off Interstate 75 if you're head north past the mall. McKay's sells mostly used books, CD's, DVD's and vidya. But recently they've been selling collectables including action figures. I've seen Figmas & karate bugmen being sold there behind the counter. They're pricey, almost full retail. But it's still worth a stop because McKay does sell alot of great obscure stuff, like old anime DVD's and out of print comics. Anybody could spend a couple hours looking at all the stuff they have.
Hope this helps. Knoxville is a nice city to visit and the weather is nice compared to most of the US this time of year. Enjoy!

Yup, McKay's is pretty much it. I've gotten all sorts of transformers, and I'm so happy that they got lazy and made a Lego bin instead of putting parts in bags. Haven't seen any Figuarts, Soul of Chogokin, or anything special like that for a while.
