Watching Godzilla's Revenge on the El Rey network marathon, and I really do enjoy this movie, it's definitely an interesting take on Godzilla in a metaphysical angle rather than an actual story being told, i.e. Godzilla is a fictional creature being imagined by Ichiro in the film, and doesn't actually exist unlike every other movie.
I don't mind the "clip show" either, it was made for a children's film festival as a compilation anyway, and it's fun watching Godzilla's more different fights back-to-back. (and if anything I find reused footage in GvsGigan to be more tacky and cheap)
I'd love to get my hands on the Y-MSF Gabara one of these days, or some other company like X-Plus can release one for a full Monster Island set.

Just got the Neca GMK today. It's not bad at all despite a few things that throw me off.
First off, the head, while bad, wasn't too awful...depending on the angle. I found that when kneeling down facing it from the front, it looks pretty screen accurate. However, any other angle, and it looks weird. You kind of have to trick your mind to get used to it. II will say the promo photos made it look a bit worse than it actually is, but what it actually is only a little better. Like, the photos make it look like a 3/10, when it's more of a 4/10. It'd be a five, however, if the paint on his head matched the rest of his body. It's too green. His body is too, but not to the extent his head is. It's nowhere near as severe as the SHMA ShinGoiji's red neck, but it still is there. I found that having a room with less the blinds only slightly open and the overhead light off will help the figure look nicer and even more accurate, but you really shouldn't have to do that.
The green is an interesting color on him yet works pretty well. Be even better if it were equally applied on head and body. Which it isn't. The original gray would work a lot better. His spines are probably my favorite of all Neca Gojis so far. Sadly, his nails are only decently painted. It takes some noticing to really see that they didn't paint them all the way, which is odd considering that they could with the 1954 Goji's feet. The little texture his nails have in comparison to other Goji's are also painted a mild tannish peach. Again, it's not that noticeable, but it isn't desirable.
