ITT: Childhood toys that are still a part of your collection.
I got this Apocalypse figure roughly 21 years ago. He came with accessories if I remember correctly but they have been lost to the sands of time. He's a bit scuffed up too, but still presentable. My brother had a really nice Gambit from the same line, but that's also long gone.

He came with a telescoping penis
I still have a shelf full of Mego World's Greatest Super Heroes figures, All of the Shogun Warriors/Jumbo Machinders, a hand full of Micronauts, and a smattering of Popy die-cast toys I picked up over the years.
Plus everything I collected between then and now.
My collection is very eclectic.

I REALLY wish I'd held onto my Space 1999 Eagle playset. That was the most beautiful piece I ever had.

Oldfag.
Join me in a cup of Geritol?
I'm jealous of anyone that still has their kid toys. I lost mine in a series of natural disasters. I guess it's for the best though, since I started buying toys again in college and I have too many as is without adding what would've been my childhood collection.
>>6085616
Care to post your Machinders? I'm not an oldfag but I have the complete American collection, it'd be nice to see someone else on /toy/ with the same.
When does /toy/ start considering you an oldfag?
I'm 28 and recently started collecting again. Oh and another gem from way back when... Battle Damaged Goku from way back in 2002.

Now those are old school. No joke.

I had him when I was 8. Lost his arms too.
he came with 2 arms. One was a drill arm, the other I think was a claw. I could just google him, but the nostalgic memories are better.
i also had the 8" variant of this same figure that had the camera lens in his chest (a weak projector). He had a morning star for an arm and came with I think 3 discs with images from the cartoon show.
>>6085894
yay google
here's whats it looked like. There were others, like 2 more I think. Dont remember who else they made figures like this tho.
I still got him in my box.

Gambit was my favorite character when I was a kid and that figure your brother had was fucking awful. My mom at least sowed him a proper fabric coat for me. I still have most of my old toys packed up. I have 3 huge Rubbermaid totes filled with figures from like 85-95. All kinds of shit.
>>6085898
I actually had a Cyclops that had a projector chest like that. I think they made a whole slew of them.
I still have my first-release Thrasher T-Rex. Restraining gear is...somewhere? A few scuffs on the tail, and one leg is loose as fuck because the rubber ring snapped over 20yrs ago. Never did fix it.
>>6086105
Aye, I have a wolverine and cyclops stashed away somewhere. Strange idea, but I loved them as a kid.
All you kiddie fucks, I had THIS Apocalypse!
>>6085921
Wow, I don't remember it being that shit looking. Nostalgia really skews your memories.
OldFag here....
You kids got it lucky! Before my ball hairs turned grey we had go to stores over and over rather than just order the shit online.
Not my pic. But I still have mine mib.. first thing I actually kept mib.
>>6086194
Why does he have a potato cannon?
>>6086105
I had the Cyclops with the light up visor, and was in the old X-Factor costume. It was in the first run of Marvel toys from 90-91'
>>6086302
I still got this figure, was one of my favorites growing up.
I have the tongue lashing Venom too.
>>6086194
Dude! I had that one too. His arm-pipes tore on mine and I lost the cannon-thing.
>>6086282
Same here. Weekend hunts for X-Men were my brother's and my pastime.
Oh, kept all my toys that managed to survive, wish more of them made it. Still have most of my Toxic Crusaders, Pirates of Dark Water, and Swamp Thing toys. All my Great Adventure, Earthworm Jim and War Planets are intact.

Best cyclops, he came with some sort of triangular shaped blue blaster that required both of his hamds if I remember correctly. I loved that the light up gimmick didn't sacrifice any articulation as a kid.
>>6086194
Price Club/Costco used to have multipacks of this line way back when
Memories...

YEE HAW

I nearly exclusively buy in stores. My local mall has an arcade and some toy stores so me and my friends will hit up the arcade then go find figures. The buying process is half the fun for me.
>>6086302
HOLY SHIT IT HAS MULTIPLE JOINT ACTION POSING!
>>6086302
I was so pissed when the leg broke off mine.
>>6086972
I don't even care about Transformers but I did buy this guy just because it's a fucking scorpion with a cobra stinger tail that has a posable jaw and that robot mode is no slouch either.
I did really love ToyBiz
I honestly had no idea what these things were, my cousin gave them to me back in the very late 80s/early 90s and said that they're called musclemen without any further explanation. I would just mess around with them and create random storylines, like most kids do with toys (or used to, I don't know if kids still have imaginations or if they need an app for it). I called them "musclemen" for roughly two decades before I learned about Kinnikuman. Then I was blown away when Bandai announced the SHF ones, and I looked at my little collection of mini toys and saw that some of them were getting Figuarts version.
And right now, the few musclemen that my cousin gave me are sitting atop my cable box, and the SHF ones that I bought are chilling in my main collection.

I love that fucking Shatterstar. I'd love a Legends version in that costume.
>>6089213
He's coming out next year. Just not that exact same costume.
>>6089280
is that silver samurai?
>>6089284
Shatterstar
>>6085557
1/2. Almost all the toys on these 2 shelves have been with me with for right around 20 years.
>>6089492
2/2

Forgot the damn pic.
