Metroid is a girl so she'll get more effort put into making the face look good.

This figure was delayed a shitload of time so I can understand will the face turned out like that. Samus only got delayed some weeks due to a faulty faceplate so I think we're safe on that regard.

I posted this because I'm really disappointed with them fucking up like this (again, after being disappointed with Snake)...I had this on preorder and when they postponed it I cancelled because it was out of my budget for that month...I dodged a bullet. I think that particular example is because nobody gives a shit about Lucky Star these days. Same happened to Haruhi and K-On, it looks like it's beginning to happen to Madoka and Monogatari, and it's going to happen to Kantai Collection. He's... alright. Great articulation and engineering across the board, comes with lots of hands and optional parts for the shield - but I'd like him a lot more if they'd washed or airbrushed some shading onto his straps, belt, and the white and red portions of his outfit.

I didn't buy Kazuma but yes, I can relate to that feeling. I think Zero Samus turned out pretty decent, but there were flaws that could have been avoided (for instance, I'm not particularly fond of how low her pelvis is, it makes some poses look really awkward. For instance, new Motoko pulled this off nicely). But even then, I like the figure enough and I LOVE Metroid so a 7/10 was good enough for me to buy her.

I really like Yakuza games...and I would have bought Kazuma if he was at least a 6.5/10. Sadly, I think he's more of a 3-4 all things considered...so not even a 50% sale could convince me of getting it. It's a case-by-case scenario.

Any chances of Kiryu-chan shelve-warming?

I'm thinking of ordering him despite how he turns out but i rather wait till he hits the bargain bin. At the same time i fear that he may end up with scalper's prices like with many cases where demand exceeds the limited number of figures in the market.

I don't expect Bandai/Tamashii to pick it up, so figma could be the only option for a 6inch Kiryu Kazuma figure.
