Looking at the stuff, I don't think the standard ones have swappable legs but this body does. Kaede's legs are the same as an Ichigo body while Mizuki is taller. Sakura is slightly smaller, but it's barely noticeable from quick comparisons at least.

You'd need to use the boil and pop method since the joints are kind of held in place so they don't fall out. Don't try to yank it out cold, it won't work and will probably break it. Of course if you don't have an extra proper foot to put in it's pointless.

If Bandai were to help you (they won't most likely, they have ZERO global customer support) then they'd most likely either send you a new figure or an entire leg which would be much easier to swap out. You will probably have to go through eBay to get a refund. Pretty sure Bluefin doesn't even have access to Black Panther so they can't help you either.

S.H. Figuarts uses different wrist joints. I remember some anon here broke hisS.H. Figuarts Luke's(RotJ) wrist joint and he/she used a spare figma wrist joint to replace it. I forgot if it was too thick or too loose those for the whole but I recall he/she modified it to fit. Yes, heat it up to soften the plastic, you can use a hair dryer but be careful since an anon disfigured the forearm of his/her S.H. Figuarts Phasma, a safer method is to use hot water(not boiling).

Got my K-2SO finally. Pretty damn happy with him. I think my only disappointments are the lack of a swivel before the wrist to change how that joint moves, and maybe balljointed hands instead of plain pegs. That and the lack of a blaster. If I had to guess it was not wanting to spoil that part, same way we didn't get an unmasked Kylo Ren head. At least we got hands to hold a blaster though.

No real diecast, just pins in the joints. And huh, you're right, there ARE joints before the hinge. They're just blended in entirely and the whole thing is spindly enough that I was being careful and not really trying to force anything to move if it didn't seem like it should. As for standing, mine is standing pretty well. The ankles are slightly loose in the sense that they move under pressure just fine, but once balanced he seems to stand on his own. The included Stage Act 4 would help if he does have issues standing, too.

Only on a few releases that absolutely need them. K-2SO is so spindly, tall, and top heavy in design that they included an Act 4 with him right in the package. Comes with the grasper claw and the instructions specifically tell you to put it around the lower abdomen to stabilize him. Depending on the pose you can get it to stand on its own, but the stand would definitely help with anything more action-y.

A lot of releases in other lines come with them. If I'm remembering correctly, the love and sailor moon stuff does, it's even personalized to the character. Stuff like star wars and marvel doesn't though, even when it'd be perfect for iron man #325 or whatever.

It really is unfortunate they're so stingy with them in general, as there's a lot of released that'd do well to have one. I've only gotten a few figmas and only recently started paying attention to them, but it seems absolutely everything comes with a stand there.

Themed sublines still get them, but it seems like mainline releases only get them as absolutely necessary. They seem exceptionally uncommon among the Robot Damashii line except in cases like the Beliel from Full Metal Panic! where it's feet are so small it'd be hard for it to balance on its own. For Figuarts and related lines the only ones I have that included stands are K-2SO and the D-Arts Mewtwo. The Iron Man armors are well known for flying, yet none of them have included a flight stand or even a port to cleanly plug them into. You need to buy your own, then clamp them on using the regular claws.

This. I really feel like Bandai have been coasting on goodwill from releases in 2014 and 2015 that were innovative or high-quality for the entire last year. They haven't upped their game at all over Jedi Luke, their earlier Iron Man figures, Warsman and Robin Mask, etc.

I'm not really familiar with the wrasslin' guys, but I 100% disagree on their star wars stuff. ROTJ luke is pretty trash compared to what they've put out this year, and he's only as sought after as he is because he's basically the only game in town for that character. Marvel stuff though, I'll give you, their last couple releases have felt very phoned in. The IM2 armors are still the reigning champs, which is kind of bizarre this far along the line.

On the whole MAFEX thing, I agree that having other competitors in the 1/12th market is great, but they're just not there yet. Just when you think they've ironed things out with a stunner like fett, they put out another garbage iron man. I'd like them to be viable, but it's literally 50/50 whether any given release will be a nightmare.

There's a difference in that the faces are completely painted in more of a matte paint and the bodies are cast in flesh colored plastic with subtle detail and shading paint in certain places.

There's more detail in the bodies than I initially thought there would be. There's subtle veins in the arms and more muscle definition than the initial pictures showed.

Also there's interesting articulation like a swivel joint right in the middle of the elbow and a swivel joint right above the ankle hinge.

My only disappointment is that the only hands you can make Austin give the middle finger in are also the hands with the pegs to hold the beer cans.

Basically they're the ultimate representation of Wrestlemania 17-era Rock and Austin.

Not sure but that doesn't look like it's been color injection molded. It's painted. The final one will be molded in the closest color and then painted lightly, which should be better. Also, they probably had a professional modeler paint it up in conventional paints, but the factory version will use PVC paint since Chinese lives don't matter at all.
