Images of the 2016 classic line that I would like to get before the 2017 line gets introduced midway into 2017

Mulan & Mushu at #1 because I don't have one

The Black frog princess & her prince frog pet at #2 because I don't have one

Mulan's prince #3 because he looks well made

John Smith at #4 because I already own a Pocahontas

Ariel & Flounder at #5 because you can never have to many Ariels

The rest can come in any order because I don't care about them to much or because I already own them as 12" Designer dolls.

I'll probably end up getting a second classic Beast doll because the one I got came in this Deluxe set, and I gave his extra ballroom outfit to my classic Prince Adam doll who was naked and in need of the outfit. That way I can own a Beast in his classic ballroom outfit. I also got two extra Belles to put in the yellow, and blue dresses that came in the set.

The reason I put the 2016 classic Ariel & Flounder at #5 is because I already own the 2013 classic Ariel doll, and because I just picked up the deluxe singing Ariel shown in this picture.
I also own a 90s Mattel Ariel, a 2010 Mattel Ariel that came with flounder, The 17" LE Ariel, two 17" singing Areils one of which is still mint in box, An Animator Ariel, and a mini Animator Ariel. I'm probably forgetting a few, but that's why Ariel is at #5 on my list of dolls to get instead of being at #1.

>most hated

Hate is such a strong word. I would say strongly dislike. I only dislike the idea of them because this line really doesn't represent all body types. It's just pandering to that demographic that has always bitched about Barbie having an unattainable body. Sure they are fine with Mattel creating fat , tall, and petite, body types to better show that woman come in all shapes, and sizes, but, what about girls who are naturally thin, and have a large bust size? ??

Those woman are heavily hated, and cruelly depicted as bimbos in films like Beauty and the Beast. The new live action Beauty and the Beast film has out right cut them out of the film all together. Mattel has all, but practically ban any representation of a thin doll with large breasts since they gave Barbie her new politically correct body in the late 90s. They reduced the bust size, and increase the waist size in the late 90s, and people still bitched that Barbie wasn't realistic looking enough so in 2016 Mattel finally caved in, and started making fat barbie dolls. They tried to down play it by also releasing a tall, and petite body size at the same time. That's fine I guess, but why not also release a thin Barbie doll with a C-cup bust size?

Disney, and doll makers almost make it sound like having a large bust size in this day, and age should be viewed as something vulgar, and that any girl that has a tiny wast and large bust size should automatically be looked down upon as a bimbo or a hyper sexualized seductress.

In short I dislike fat Barbie because her whole existence is nothing, more than an attempt to appease a very annoying, and hypocritical demographic of people.

I just got my first Pocahontas doll this year. Sadly since my local Disney store was so late in introduce the new 2016 version that comes with with the bird I got stuck with the 2015 version which is still nice. I'm really tempted to get the Hasbro Pocahontas doll, but that dream is on hold. I had the Hasbro Mulan for about a week, but returned her once the Disney Store released a Mulan that came with Mushu. I ended up returning that Mulan plus a classic Ariel doll to help pay for my Beauty, and the Beast deluxe box set. I'm actively trying get Mulan back.

Favorite Disney doll ever would be LE Ariel.
>>
>>6071974
Is this one even in stores? The only fashion pack curvy I can find is the sporty brunette with the blue dress and baseball cap.
>>
>>6072162
>They reduced the bust size, and increase the waist size in the late 90s, and people still bitched that Barbie wasn't realistic looking enough
Well... to be fair, the classic Barbie body wasn't intended to be a natural shape. Its based on the fashionable girdled look of the 50s. It honestly really did need an update in the 90s since current fashions would look bizarre on it. Conical torsos don't develop naturally, they aren't the same as being hourglass figured. Her breasts too, again at time of design the torpedo bra thing was in. But when they did that 90s redesign? Flat toned stomachs and small perky braless look was in. So thats what Barbie got. She's a fashion doll. Every time they redesign her they're going to go by what is currently in fashion.

This one is my favorite in person, but I wish they did a shaved head similar to that blonde half-shaved Fashionista.
>>
>>6072593
Never liked that half shaved head look. Never really enjoyed any shock value hair cut much to be honest. For one thing they will date you in photos like you have no idea. People in the 80s would sport mohawks , and people in the 90s would sport mullets. Today those people are forced to look back at themselves in old photos, and can't help but cringe at themselves. They all say the same thing "I thought I was the coolest person for sporting that look at the time, but I don't know what the hell I was thinking"

I think Target was the only place carrying this line, until Walmart got it this month. But they won't get that older wave, only the newest 4 doll assortment.

Toy companies should really do a better job at informing the public as to what stores will be carrying what items so that people know what stores to avoid while searching for a specific doll or toy. I get that some toys are exclusives, and they even have little stickers saying so, but if it's not an exclusives you should be able to find it in all stores. I lost out on a my sized Tangled doll thanks to this bull crap in 2010. I'm looking at you Target!

Jesus Christ, Barbie looks like her pelvis got stepped on by an elephant.
>>
>>6072244
I got the Mulan and Rapunzel one from the pic you posted. What I never knew is how shitty their hair is, it's not even in neat rows like a regular barbie, and they have bald patches if you move their hair around. I understand though, it's only $10 a doll so they couldn't be bothered to put in more hair. They could have made the heads smaller if they didn't want to spend more money on hair though.
>>
I got the coronation change Elsa tonight. It was an impulse buy, but I really should have looked at reviews first. The joints aren't even as articulate as I expected them to be. Her legs and arms are made of some really weird feeling plastic. She could have had more hair. She's pale as fuck too, but that's okay if you like weird colored dolls. Overall she looks nice in her clothes though, and I like her shoes. The crown takes a while to put on right, it just slips out of the hair. Another slippery thing is her shoes, I had to rubber band them to her feet. She looks cute on the shelf though.

I agree, because I live in the middle of nowhere, and have limited free time and transportation. At least have an accurate online stock checker or something. In every image they've released of the dress it's been this awful short bus yellow, but here it looks like such a soft buttery color. Wtf Disney. Also, now that I actually get a full view of it, I suppose it's not awful. I'm still disappointed in the overall look I think the design could have been more luscious, and I wish it had a nod to the rose (like Cinderella nodded to butterflies) but it's not the complete boring travesty I once thought.
>>
>>6076676
I think the necklace might be a rose? It's hard to tell.

Anyway, I'm satisfied enough that I'll get the Disney Store Film Collection version.
>>
>>6076676
I know Disney is really committed to a pure yellow for Belle but I wish they would've gone with a darker gold for the dress. I think it would've been more flattering with Emma's coloring.

>It was an impulse buy
Sometimes Impulse buys are some of the best buys you'll ever make. I've gotten a few items based on what some would call an impulse when feeling blue, and I've never regretted it. I own three Elsa's. All in the same Ice queen dress. A 17"light up singing one, One from Mattel I found at the the Goodwill which I had to find a skirt for, and Anna, Elsa 2 pack I got when the movie first came out.

I haven't seen any of the dolls being sold in retail stores in the US. You can get them online though. I don't watch TV, but I haven't heard about the series either in a really long time. It's sad, they had nice dolls.
>>6082746
That's because they used the wrong pic on the box. That transformation has different clothes and wings than the one you have. I remember there was a fuckload of transformations and shit in the show and there was dolls for all of them.

I had the one with the bunny too, mattel gave them weird bendy legs instead of joints though.
I still have one laying around, the makeup looks weird compared to the jakks pacific version.

I'm counting my Dollfie Dreams as "$500 dolls" because that's what some of them cost me and most normies would count them as "dollies." There's also some limited collector 1/6 scale figures that hit the $500 mark. I'm sure they could be considered "dolls" by most of the populace.

I'm not very familiar with Hot Toys, or their prices so I thought I'd ask this question here. A local store in my area is selling two different Hot Toys Rey dolls. One that comes with everything including bb8 for $290, and one that does not come with bb8 for $220. Both look almost the same on display. I love bb8, and I don't own him in anyway, but I don't have the extra $70 to get the box set that includes him. Does anyone know if the one that doesn't come with bb8 is of lower quality in any way? The only difference I noticed was that the Rey that comes with bb8 has darker eye shadow around her eyes. My main question is if $220 a fair price to pay for the Hot Toys Rey that doesn't include a bb8. Here's a pic of what you get for $220.

I own a number of Hot Toys - i would look up a review on the figure to see how good it is with movement and articulation. I like my Hot toys, but you dont get extremely dynamic poses from them. As for the prices - http://www.sideshowtoy.com/collectibles/star-wars-rey-and-bb-8-hot-toys-902612/ - so you are paying about average or less due to shipping not included.

If you like Rey, her outfit from the first film, you probably wont get a better looking figure than a hot toy. The disney store version doesnt stand up versus the HT.

>>
>>6084364
I've seen both versions in person, and unless the paint jobs differ from doll to doll the only difference I noticed was that the Rey without bb8 has a different shad of lip color, and that the paint around her eyes is less prominent. I saw a few Youtube videos, and everyone keeps saying she has more articulation then other Hot Toys they own do to her non-restrictive outfit. I've wanted this Hot Toys doll since I first saw images of her online about a year ago. I've tried a few substitutes throughout the year like the Hasbro black series Rey with bb8, and The diecast Disney store Rey, and bb8. I ended up returning both of them do to their faces looking so off. Just last month I considered buying the new Disney store doll version, and even a Jakks Pacific 17" Rey figure, but didn't because in the back of my head I knew that what I really wanted was the Hot Toys Rey.

Well I just got back from picking up my Hot Toys Rey, and I thought I'd share a little review.

I got her new mint in box. I was glad to find that her face was perfect. What wasn't perfect however was her under shirt. Her under shirt had a pink dot on it. It looked as if it was made with the tip of a pen or thin marker. It's not noticeable under the two white bands that cross over her shirt, but still when you pay that much for a premium figure you don't expect defects or marks on the clothing. Before anyone says it no it had not been opened. The round seals had not been cut or tampered with. She was strapped in the box pretty well with plastic covering her face, hands, and boots. Before taking it back to the store, and hoping that they would believe that I hadn't marked her myself I carefully removed her under shirt which wasn't easy since her plastic belt is non-removable. It got a little tricky getting it over her three plastic hair bumps. I used a few drops of liquid dishwashing soap, and rubbed the tip of a sponge over the pink dot for a few mins very softly. The pink mark came right off, the shirt dried, and everything is fine. It was a nightmare getting the shirt off, and I can only imagine the time it will take me to get it back on, and under her belt again so I think I'm going to leave it off for now. Besides I always thought Rey had been dressed a little too conservatively in the film. I kinda like the way she looks without it.

The image I'm posting here isn't an image of the one I own, but she pretty much looks like the one in this image minus the bb8. I have mine holding her gun, and lightsaber. I also strapped her stick to her back.

You pretty much have to have a doll or collectibles store nearby to find them in person. None of the major retail places like Target or TRU or whatever carry them. I've found them at a few doll shops (Fabric Friends is one, and they do online/phone sales but are a small store so they actually can personally check stock) and occasionally a few comic shops will have the superhero ones. Also they sell at SDCC as thats where I've gotten a few.

Speaking of Tonner, what's yalls opinion of Wilde Imagination? I loved Ellowyne but I'm not sold on any of the others yet. The new alternate-lives girl seems to have nice outfits though. Is the body shape the same as Ellowyne?

>>6084133
BB8 was a Sideshow exclusive, if I remember right. The actual figure/doll is identical as far as I know. Theres also an extended stand included so BB8 can sit next to her, but otherwise you're not even getting any extra accessories. I don't even think the eye shadow thing is intentional, they're hand finished so occasionally some end up with more makeup than others. And yeah I'd say its a fair price, my boyfriend just picked one up for $219 at the local comic shop and they're usually pretty on spot with market prices.

As a personal note I think she's lovely out of the package and agree with >>6084364, none of the other action figures or dolls compare. Watch a few Youtube reviews if you feel you need a little more convincing.

>These dolls in one picture

I admire the drawings on the black dolls dress. It's kinda trippy in a good way, but I don't like dark colors so it's not for me.

The one next to her with the red hair kinda reminds me of Ariana Grande back when she had red hair on that Nickelodeon show.

The one in the middle has a dress thats so well made it's visually comparable to the quality of a Disney Fairytale Designer dolls oufit, but I don't like dark colors. I wish it was a lighter shade of blue. The dress is so dark it almost looks black.

The blonde with the glasses is as cute as button, but her dress is way to simple, and almost forgettable compared to the dresses on the first three dolls.

While I like the idea of flower crowns the gingers eyes are so light shes kinda spooky. If you look straight into her yes it almost looks as if she wants to steal your soul. She also has the worst outfit in the group. What the heck is up with those cowboy boots?

> they're hand finished so occasionally some end up with more makeup than others.
Well that would explain why the two I saw in the store looked slightly different, and why mine had a pink dot on her shirt.

> none of the other action figures or dolls compare.
Agreed, I waited a full year to see if an other toy company would release a Rey doll, but all I saw were derpy looking 12" plastic toys. I had hopes that the Disney store would release a nice looking LE Rey doll, but when they released that $35 Disney store Rey doll last month I was majorly let down. I wasn't expecting Hot Toys quality, but I was hoping they would do a better job at capturing her face. I'm really glad I found her in an actual store. I really do hate ordering things online.

Here's an image of what she looks like. I still have to put her shirt back on one of these days. I didn't want to get my Rey wet so I removed it to wash away a pink dot that was on her shirt. Sorry for the poor quality. My camera was running low on batteries, and I had to snap it quickly.

Yes and no. Sideshow is a figure company in its own right, but they also are a retailer for other collectibles including Hot Toys. I think they're the main one actually, as the local comic shops all get their Hot Toys through Sideshow. So just about every series that gets put out is going to have a figure or two with an exclusive extra item or special details.

Plus honestly I don't see them as direct competitors. They both do realistic 1/6 portrait figures, but for the most part of Hot Toys is doing the movie version of a character, Sideshow does the comic version (Deadpool, Wolverine and Harley stick out most in my mind).

Thanks, anon. Here's a pic I took yesterday which shows half of that wall. It includes the dolls you mentioned without Rey blocking them.

I got an extra Alice/Queen fairytale designer set to take out of the box, because I'v always wanted an Alice doll, but never wanted to pay second had prices for rare yet cheap playline Alice dolls. Plus she comes with the Queen of hearts which I believe has never been made into a doll in her animated form in the past. I think you can still find this set at most Disney Stores, and Disney Store online for $129.99. If the set doesn't sell well they will go down to $80 around April like past Fairlytale designer doll that have had trouble selling in previous years, but I wouldn't risk waiting if you really want her, and don't want to pay scalper prices online later on.

Rapunzel, and Belle are the 17" deluxe singing, light up dolls. You can find them at the Disney Store for $50 each or you can do what I did, and wait for them to go on sale. I got the $50 Rapunzel last year for $30 three weeks before Christmas during an X-mas sale. I got Belle this year a week before Black Friday for $30. I've never seen theses dolls priced at $30 during the year tho. They only get dropped to $30 during Thanksgiving/X-mas sales.

Jasmine, and Aladdin are 17" LE dolls. You can usually get Aladdin for around $100 or less online because I guess people don't care about Aladdin even tho hes the star of the film.
Jasmine will run you around $200 online because scalpers gonna scalp. Hope this info helps, anon.

I'm pretty sure they don't have the same bodies. I haven't seen anything that says they can share clothes yet.

I think that Miette's Enchanting outfit is okay, and she looks delicate and pretty and doe-eyed, but I just couldn't get into her looks enough to get her.

Bump in the Night was one of my favorite shows as a kid, I'm so pissed I never saw a single toy. I got a figure of Bumpy from my local comic shop, the guy had him hanging on the ceiling with a bunch of other random figures. I lost my shit and he was cool enough to give it to me, since he didn't know what it was and didn't really care.

Looks like little rich girls around the world are having a sad Christmas this year thanks to Mattel, and ToyTalk.

Can you imagine being from a poor family, and having a single mom save up for months to buy this toy only to find out it doesn't work for shit on Christmas day? This is just sad.

> on Sunday, Christmas morning, a number of users have reported problems using the toy's voice command, with many saying they got a message reading "Error Code 18" when trying to use the toy.
>One wrote "#hellodreamhouse error code 18 is spoiling Christmas morning. Can you help? No info in directions for this one!

Just saw some Live action beauty and the beast figures of Mrs. Potts, chip, Cogsworth, Lumiere ,and the duster today that would go nice with this doll. It was $15 for all of them.
>>
>>6090998

>>
>>6091898
Cogsworth and Mrs. Potts are fucking frightening.
>>

>>

why is the duster a peacock? I remember her as a slutty duster in the animated version, and Lumiere had a thing for her.
>>
>>6091062
I think that for a poor family, that was a really dumb thing to spend their money on. Sure, the kid may have wanted it, but it's still a Barbie house with rather useless tech added to it. The voice commands don't actually add much to the play value of the house.

If you looked at Belle's ballgown dress, it wouldn't look radically different with a corset. It has the proper 'stay' shape of a dress from that era, similar to the Cinderella LA gown.
>>
>>6093638
The dress was doomed from the start. Jacqueline Durran's stuff is almost always stripped down and boring.

Went back to the store to buy the $15 five pack. The back of the box had Belle in her yellow ballroom outfit walking up a dark staircase while holding Lumiere.

I was so exited while waiting in a long line I started opening it to check out the figures. When the lady scanned the box she told me they aren't allowed to sell it before February 2nd. Told her it was already open, and she said she still couldn't sell it. I had a vibe that was going to happen. Oh well.

>>6092353
Because all the objects in the film have been reimagined, and look kinda creepy now. Lumiere will still have a thing for her in the new live action film, however she will be voiced, and played by a black woman instead of being a white french maid.

>>6092235

I wish they could've just gone to Sandy Powell again. I know we've compared Belle's gown to Cinderella's a lot, but that's just because it's so on point. And not just Cinderella's ballgown, every costume is interesting and fits the character. I remember reading somewhere when the movie first came out that Sandy was inspired by how they might design Cinderella costumes if they were making this movie in the 40s/50s, and that shows in every design. Everything is so detailed with beautiful fabrics and rich embroidery and bright colors. Even the ugly step sisters outfits were interesting and told us who they were right off the bat. Beauty And The Beast doesn't seem like it will leave such as strong of an impression and the direction doesn't feel as unique. And because of that I'm probably not going to care enough to want any of the dolls.
>>
>>6093376

It's a fail.
And the dress...
>>
>>6094215

I like the bodies with their above average articulation. They have some great outfits that shy away from the typical Barbie pink crap fashions. The wigs are a neat idea too.

The only thing that bugs me is the XBOX HUEG head and the dead stare eyes. They're really creepy. It puts me off ever wanting to buy one, save for a head swap project.

I share your enthusiasm, anon. Now are these really leaked images of the new upcoming dolls or actual images of the dolls popping up for sale on store shelves? I ask because I tried buying some merch from the new live action film, but was told they couldn't sell any of it until Feb 2nd.

As for the dolls themselves I don't completely hate them, but I wont be buying anything until I see what the Disney Store has to offer, and if I do I'll be sure to hold on the recite in case it has to go back. While they really don't look anything like Emma at least Hasbro gave them elbow, and wrist articulation. The dress is kinda nice, and the red rose is a nice touch. They should show what the back of the boxes look like. If they are anything like the Hasbro figure set I saw they should have some nice photos/scenes from the film on the back.

>>
>>6095753
Yes, they are the real dolls on store shelves. They're not supposed to be on sale until February but stuff was put out by mistake. What store did you try to buy it at? one person managed to get the singing Belle doll at Toys R' Us by being pushy with the manager. At Target it's literally impossible to buy because of the way their system works.
>>
>>6096544
The set I found was at Target. I guess that explains why I couldn't get them to sell it to me even though It was opened, and one of the figures has been removed from the box. The lady tried to make me feel better by saying "You don't wanna buy this it's missing a figure" Not a total loss, but I would have liked getting them all.
>>
>>6096400
If you look closely you can see that both the monkey and skunk girls have tails.
>>

Not sure if that is something any of you would know or care about, but did anyone sculpt new hands for those articulated barbies like Made to Move and post a tutorial of that somewhere? So you could switch them out like some action figures can.
I'm probably gonna do it with magnets, but maybe someone better at crafting already did something like this and posted it.
Sorry if this isn't the right thread for that.

Also can Made to Move Barbie wear Barbie high heels shoes?
>>
>>6097326
That dress would be so beautiful if all the details weren't just printed on.
>>
>>6097404
I'm hoping the Disney Store dress will be much nicer--well, I'm sure it will be, the clothes for the Film Collection dolls are always great. She's only $14.99 and is a playline doll, so considering that, I think it's nice compared Hasbro's other offerings.
>>
>>6097404
Also, looking at a video review, at least it's not a true one piece. The apron and scarf piece aren't printed on the skirt, they're separate.

>>6097422
>She's only $14.99
Seems fair, but they still could have done a better job with the face. I mean Hasbro is a major company. I'm sure they could afford to play a talented sculpture to do a better job at capturing an actresses face.

Yes Disney we get it. Belle is supposed to be different from the rest of the towns people, but does that also mean that her clothing also has to look like Something out of a Tim Burton movie? I swear if you swapped the blue and red colors on her dress for black and gray the dress would fit more with Sally the rag doll from A Nightmare Before Christmas.

>>6098494
>Is anyone else horrified
Shes not even smiling. I guess we can blame Emma for this. Feminists rarely smile. Some even get pissed off if asked to smile. I think she only smiled once in the trailer. The doll looks like it's trying to smile, but wont for some reasons which makes her look constipated.
>>
>>6097326
Is it me or does her head look too big for her body?

Question for y'all: what do you do with your dolls? Do you just keep them displayed in their packaging/a case? Play with them? Change up their hair and clothes? Acquire as many as possible and sleep on your hoard, dragon style?

Depends on the doll. Some dolls I take out of the package and display with stands, some dolls I keep in the package. I don't play with them except if my 3 year old cousin comes over and wants to. Sometimes I take instagram pictures of them.

Some I take out, and display even if they are expensive. Some I feel look better if left in the box, and would lose all of their charm if removed from a very well designed box. Sometimes I buy two if I can. One to display mint in box, and one to remove from the box. If I was able to get any type of joy from playing with them I would because I'm not above it, but I lack the imagination I once had as a child I don't, but I do get a kick out of holding them in my hands, and being about to feel them. Sometimes I'll remove a doll from a box, but realize that they looked better in the box, and since I never damage the box while taking the doll out I just strap the doll right back into the box as best as I can which usually comes out looking unopened. I don't usually change the clothing they come with unless I happen to have a better more expensive looking version of the outfit they came with.
>>
>>6098956
I have some on stands. Others are just in my "doll box". I change their outfits and take different pictures of them regularly. Sometimes outside.
>>
>>6098851
All the Hasbro Disney Princess dolls have that problem. Their proportions are really weird and off putting. Merida is probably the worst offender, with a humongous head.

Went to Toys R Us, today and found a singing Emma Belle doll, and this new set of figures with live action Beast, Belle, and the enchanted flower . The back of the box had a new images of Emma touching the rose.

I got in line with my Emma Belle doll, and the cashier was a Haiti lady that could barely speak English. The last time I got her I handed her a $20 bill, and she looked at it for over 2mins before calling for help. When I asked what was wrong she relied "I don't know You Guieses Money". I thought to myself "how the heck did you get a job behind a Toys R Us register if you don't know what US money looks like", but I didn't say anything.
I get to her, and she tries ringing it up,but she can't because of an Error. I guess it was the do not sell until Feb 2nd error. She doesn't know what the error means so she tries typing the numbers on the bar code in manually, and says "that will be 5 cents".
I think shes talking about the tax, but no that's what she tells me the doll costs. I hand her five pennies thinking she was joking or pulling my leg. She says "that's the cheapest toy I ever sold, it must be old." as she hands me the recite. A white dad with a beard behind me in line looked at me with a smile, and says "I think you just outsmarted somebody". I smile back at him, but I have no words. She hands me my bag. I look at it, the recite, and it reads "item*** 0.05"
I then go next door to a discount store, and find a $26 figure I was forced to returned once because I needed the money for only $6. To think I almost didn't wanna leave the house today.
Thank you Haiti lady

The image was on the back of the figure set not the doll. If I had a camera phone with me I would have snapped a pic of it, but I don't own one. If I don't see the image pop up on the internet in the next few days I'll go back to the store with a digital camera, and take a picture of it.

>I assumed Hasbro would do something more proportionate for collectors.

This isn't a collector doll.

Photo of the receipt or this story is pure fiction. Everyone has a phone with a camera, it's 2017.

She looks evil. Besides, who actually wants these crappy live action dolls when you can get the far superior Disney Store Classic Belle doll based on the animated movie. It's cheaper too.

What about them? Besides the fact that they cost way too damn much nowadays. I have a used pauper, she still sings but I took her batteries out, because I'm not into singing toys. One thing I miss about princess barbies is the clothes with tons of details, nowadays we don't really get as much of that.

Why did you post these exactly? They came out in 2004, 13 years ago. They're long gone.

Believe it if you want to, anon. I'm over 30, and have never owned a camera phone in my life. Back in the late 90s I prayed that cell phones would never catch on, but sadly they did. Someone handed me one on the street once to dial home, and I didn't know how to get to the menu were the phone allows you to type the numbers. I ended up opening up the persons photos instead. I had to go back to that person, and ask them if they could prep the phone for me so I could dial.

She looks nice . I think she's looks better with blonde and pink hair .

The back of the hair is one color, front is another color. You turn the top of her head around so that the back is at the front. Watch here: https://youtu.be/W1WLSEPQd9Q?t=171

Oh, you turn her scalp round, not her actual head.

Yaass. I like the ladybug dolls, they're cute and I had them with me watching that shitty xmas special. I need chloe 4 sure. But why no Alya?
>>
>>6105003
Alya is getting a Lady Wifi action figure .
>>
I saw one of the Star Pop Princess dolls the other day. She's even cheaper in person, the quality is dookie. Zombie Girls or Jacks Pacific Winx tier. Just barely above Mysixx Vampires.
>>
>>6102099
I wonder, will she have legs and feet, or just plastic skirt like the Hasbro singing Elsa did.
>>

>that scalp turn
lol my fucking sides. Cool idea though.

What do you think of the dolls for the show ? The show is kinda like Ever After High.
>>
>>6106849
>those eyes
Nope. I'm not really getting the fairy tale angle from these, either. They look like the type of generic fashion dolls your grandma would get you from Big Lots.

Why must dolls nowadays have such giant heads? A smaller, proportional head would look better and require less hair and plastic too, I just don't get it.
>>
>>6107059
style?
>>
>>6107167
so it's just for style? It looks like shit imo, proportional heads would probably look better. The ever after high dolls look nice too and I kind of want one but I just can't get past the giant head.

The glassy eyes give off a bit of a creepy vibe. I guess I'd have to see them in person to judge. I'm sure I'll bump into them in a few weeks, and as always I'll think of /toy/. I really enjoy that more, and more dolls are starting to jump on the articulation boat.

Cute gimmick, but you know the hair is going to turn to crap within a few turns. The turning of her scalp kinda looks painful. Also that noticeable line on her forehead is hella weird. The black pink outfit is kinda muh, but I like the Friday shirt, and jeans in the video.
