So, does anyone here collect God Complex figures? This one is up for preorder and looks beyond badass, but I have no idea what the range of motion/QC/other issues might be.
Anyone have experience with this line?

I have two of their Bonehead figures. Never had any QC issues. Posability is on par with any other 1/6th figure. Go for it, mang

This looks pretty tight.
No experience, but I still have molds of Death's head sans the shield laying around. Love the aesthetic. Don't want to get into the scale.

Thanks guys. I've never even gotten into 1/6 before so I have no frame of reference for poseability. Can your bonehead do a one-legged running pose like this pic?
>>6064225
Most 1/6 figures can't hold a pose like that without a stand.

ive been eyeing these as well but they are pretty expensive considering how simple the figures are and i dont really like the back story much either. apollo will probably be my first.

They are rad looking but stupid expensive for what you get. You are paying pretty much for a head sculpt and fancy hands. The bodies are incredibly basic.
They are so cool though, and looking at the upcoming susanoo he seems more like something that would be worth the price tag.
I had Apollo and Hermès, both which were given to me as gifts.

This. 1/6th can be a little too heavy for action poses without support. Get used to mostly "museum" poses

Jesus this aesthetic is good. These definitely seem overpriced but damn I have not been this tempted ever.
reminds me of warframes art style.Which is a good thing in my books.

How could you leave out arguably the most important part of a 1/6 figure: the outfit! Aside from possibly headsculpt, the outfit is the most difficult and pricey part to create.
>The bodies are incredibly basic.
Welcome to 1/6....the vast majority of them are unique head, hands, feet, and outfits on a generic body. And at least the Bonehead figures use Hot Toys Truetypes, arguably the best 1/6 base body in existence.

I own this Bonehead figure and the headsculpt is nice, but the clothes could honestly have been tailored better (the fit isn't great on the body, it looks a bit oversized for him and not in an intentional way). The feet also REALLY piss me off. Instead of a traditional hard plastic balljoint cup, the entire shoe is molded in this soft-ish plastic with just a vague hole for the balljoint to poke into. It feels doughy and bad, and doesn't make me confident at all about the figure holding wide stances. Why didn't they just glue a damn TrueType foot inside the shoe? It still looks pretty cool on the shelf so I'm keeping it, but damn, step up your game when you're asking these kinds of prices.
