I bought the toothpaste Miku Pop because Hot Topic had it on sale for Cyber Monday. It came in the other day. One of the hair pieces was already broken off and one of the feet was warped. I can't return it either because Hot Topic doesn't reimburse shipping of course, so paying to return it would cost just as much as the figure.

Mini rant but long ago I followed his older videos, watched so many and it was fun. Probably the highest peak was the early FNaF, Alien, Evil Within sort of times. Then nowadays he's... a bit unbearable to watch, but I'm happy for his success.

Lack of licenses and too many different styles is what killed that first wave of vinyl toys. Back in like 2010 or so it felt like everyone had their own urban vinyl line, from Hasbro's Muggs, Kid Robot's munnys, etc. Funko's success was devouring all these licenses and making them in a homogenous and(although people will contest this) aesthetically pleasing style.

The usual price I see is $10 for standard pops. $12 is pretty normal for them to and up to $25 on the huge ones.

Most of the pops are just ehh. Certain ones work better then others. The ones that actually suit the eyes and have more then the blank expression work. The rest, they're just fodder for every and anything funko gets a license for.

This. POPs are creepy and all but back then it was kind of obnoxious that everyone and their mothers had a vinyl toy line, and of course like every trendy urban line many were incredibly overpriced.

To be honest most POPs wouldn't be so bad if they used different colors for the eyes or reduced the size of them.

These are the exact kinds of things that most people will think is a justifiable showing of your fandom, since they generally cost $10-$12. I buy the DC Comic ones and a few others and sit them next to my trades, so I can glance over to my shelfs and see where what is. I just wish the paint was better on them.

I saw some keychain sized ones and I didn't actually mind them at that size for some reason.

The ones where they actually put effort into making a good mold are fine. Like the Big Daddy and Alien Queen funkos are fine because they're actually pretty good likenesses morphed into little chibi statues, but 99% of their products is the same square headed, beady eye goblin cosplaying as licensed characters.

I own two. WoW ones, specifically Thrall and Sylvanas.

They were decent enough and only cost $4 a pop so don't feel cheated. Sylvanas has an actual figure out now so probly gonna pick that up alongside Arthas and maybe Illidan.

My younger brother got me this for Christmas. I personally don't like POOPs but I love the show and appreciated the gesture. I did get two of the Titanfall ones though as I love me some robots
