And here's my grabs for the last few days. Passed on the Wind Waker Amiibos till payday proper.

The stocker at Target seems to be retarded, as they're stuffing out the same figures on the pegs, and not varying up the pickings. Somehow they ended up with 2 WaLuigis that they didn't have before...but they also put out 2 Koopa Troopas (this one came from another Target)... I know they have more figures, cause they were on the stocking cart as I walked by the other night. Saw Link and snagged his ass.

Anybody else bothered that the 30th Anniversary Zelda amiibo have brighter colored bases than the Wolf Link? It just stands out.

With Wolf Link, the base pattern is darker than the rest of the base, but the 30th ones have a brighter pattern.

I don't know if it just me, but the Prototype figures have more detail in shading then the color ones do.
Guessing since they are only in gray color.

While the Gold figures are well, the gold looks really bad on them.

Old Zelda stuff is honestly garbage unless you have a soft spot for the doughy vintage aesthetic. The high-quality things being produced now are a dream come true for me after being a fan for 20+ years, and honestly I've sold off most of my older stuff to fund getting the new.

Even F4F's old Zelda stuff is very ymmv; I have an early number Fierce Deity and the paint on his face is so off center and terrible looking that he looks stupid as fuck.

That, and both his ears are sculpted to go in wildly different directions. And F4F, being normie fucks, thought this was okay.

A decade later it still bugs the piss out of me, but since they're so expensive now I don't have it in me to modify it.

I suppose it's just the nature of the accessories. ALBW has the rupee, hermit crab, pot and tornado rod which are kind of meh, to me. The bomb and hookshot are the only accessories with any real playability. Meanwhile, TP Link comes with the bow and arrow, alternate sword, clawshot and ball n' chain. Not to mention sheaths.

Basically there are some minor differences in paint. The new one no longer has the darker orange shading that the first release has. Instead, it has a lighter whitish-yellow spray in spots, on the top of the head, the knees, and the back of the wings near the shoulderblades.

In my opinion, the only accessories worth a damn are the hookshot and bomb. The pot, hermit crab and rupee are pointless, but you might like 'em. Be warned, in hand, the colors on the figure are much more pale then they are in official photos for some reason.

I hope Figma continues their trend of official Link figures. Once they get to pic related, it will be the only one I need.
