I ended up buying this version online. I don't know if it's the official store verison (I doubt it) and couldn't find any pictures of the official store version either. (I don't have any disney stores in my country and for some reason they don't have any pics of him on the official store websites)

I'm a /k/ommando and not particularly /toy/, but I do like plushies. Used to sleep with a stuffed German Shepard and collie regularly up through middle school, but in 6th grade I got a real dog and stored most of them away for safety. Would post pics as I have a few in the 20-25 year old range, but sadly they're not stored anywhere conveniently. I feel bad doing that, but I've nowhere to put them.

Fast forward seven years and I went away to college. Almost 4000 miles away, but I didn't find I got particularly homesick. I did find that I had gotten very used to sleeping with my dog, and that being a stomach sleeper without a secondary object is hard as fuck. After a week and a half of crappy sleeping I swallowed my pride and dug up pic related, who I'd brought because I'm a sentimental faggot. God damn I'm glad I did. Slept fine again despite crappy dorm bed. He was a TY musher once upon a time, but that was probably fifteen years ago.

hot dryers will burn the fuck out of long fur

surface wash is best, but if something happened that needs a wash, you can throw ragdoll-type (your husky) plush in the cold washer with no issue. But for drying, use the air or delicate setting on your dryer, and put the plush inside a pillowcase for extra protection.

for your pricey fox, it looks like it is either stuffed really tightly, or has some sort of bracer to help it stand. if there is anything inside, washing machine is a no-go. surface wash only. if it's just really firm to hold it's shape, know that washing it will displace the filling and it will come out a different shape. I'd still stick to surface wash.

unless it can be washed, in which case, throw it in the wash
for avoiding mildew.. modern plush seem less prone to it since they use synthetics, but if you leave something in a non-temperature controlled environment for a long time, it's still likely to happen. Keeping things in places with air conditioning goes a long way.

This is the oldest plush I have. He used to have a shirt but my sister destroyed it when we were younger. The bowtie is new and not originally part of him. He's big, full of those Styrofoam pellets not stuffing, and I never really cuddled him much. He always hung out in the corner and just sort of watched me play with my other toys like a grandpa.

I have way too many, but these are a few that are particularly treasured gifts. The indian bear was given to me by my godmother when I was a baby, it's 20+ years old. The pink elephant was bought for me by my grandma when i was a kid, he used to ahve a ribbon around his neck but it got too ratty to keep, I need to get him a new one and also clean him up a bit. The two big bears in the back are the only ones with names, they're Holmes-bear and Watson-bear.

These guys are surprisingly nice. They're the Thermal Aid animals, so you can freeze them or microwave them to use as ice packs/heating pads. Their simple design is pretty nostalgic for me and they're super comforting when you heat them up in the cold winter or for sole muscles.

I'm so reluctant to get one. I used to frequent anime cons and see those fuckers there and at weeb friends' places, but I could never bring myself to get one, partly because I have too many plushies at home and I've grown to find them over-rated. That being said, the knock offs and the authentic Alpacasso's are really nice to squeeze and sleep with, and they make cute decor too (they all stand up on their own).

What I really want are those god damn weeaby birds. I only managed to find the keychain sized ones from Rotofugi (Chicago) and I'm mad that they've sold out the big ones. Plenty of Alpacassos, and weeaboo hamsters and sloths, last I checked.
