So I've never done anything like this before, but I'm going to purchase some paint and a fine-tip brush from a hobby shop to do alittle touching up on some of my figures with small paint-defects/chips.
Is there anything I need to know? Do I need primer, or can I just apply paint directly? I just don't want to make things worse.
Was going to fix a shiny stripe on Mafex batman's head and touch up some red paint-transfer on shma Birth Godzilla's teeth.
We have a customs thread, and 2 model building threads, dumbfuck.
Why didn't you ask in one of those?
Why in Shit's name didn't you even TRY to use the catalog? That's that it's there for, shit for brains.

Shut the fuck up, will ya, general faggot?

depends on how big the defect is
but there's tonnes of guides online to get the rough idea

Pretty tiny honestly, milimeter or less.

Should probably try to use a spray on matte coat for the shiny stripe instead of brushing paint over it.

Then just leave it. If you don't know what you're doing you're more likely to make it worse. It's not going to be possible to apply paint or clear coat without it standing out.

You realize they're responding to crying, right?
