Man, I really want UW Computron, mainly for Nosecone. That 5mm peg and port play pattern looks so much fun. The only thing I'm not too sure about is the positioning of the peg on the drill, as it makes it look kinda weird mounted on Nosecone's fist ports- the I think with the aid of a 5mm plastic rod one could mount it more "centrally".

You could very easily glue a 5mm peg on the center of that drill. There's a 5mm circular ridge that serves no other purpose than the help line up the drill with a 5mm peg on his mole machine mode. All you'd need to do is find a 5mm peg you're willing to glue onto it and that ridge will line it up perfect for you.

I'm trying to figure if I need Fort Max.

I never had him as a kid, so I don't have any nostalgia connection to him, and I don't have any other big transformers to pose him with. Also, I have a buch of transformers in storage that never get set up, and limited shelf space as it is.

But at the same time, I don't want to sit it out and not pick him up at like 90 bucks when next year this time he'll probably be 200.

But hasbro has 0 control here, in japan its all takara, even the toy designers get a good say, where's for outside ie hasbro territories its rare a toy designer can work together with animators (like in animated) let alone do anything without hasbro breathing down their necks.

And before you say, the bay movies do what they do because they bring big money and the designers have to fight hasbro, design limitations AND the character designs.

The sooner BW megatron, dinobot, galvatron, jazz, maybe victory leo, the better.

So Kapow has LG Fort Max on sale for about £150 shipped, I'll probably never see it for a price like this again and the regular US version is about the same price after shipping.

UW has different paint jobs and the original G1 team. It also has the fixed ratchets on Motormaster by default.

The CW has two releases, a version with the original, shit ratchets, and a 2nd batch with the fixed ones. Pic related denotes the code on the back of the box of the fixed ratchets batches.

You're probably best off getting the UW version honestly. The only thing that really suffers for it is Dragstrip is basically solid fucking yellow and nothing else.

I really hope they make Titan Master packs in the same way they made minicon packs for universe 2.0.

The repaint possibilities are far more varied since they can mix and match the figures and tiny vehicles.

And the titan masters themselves, not overly necessary, hell there are shots in this thread already, and the heads themselves are a worry due to friction.

Thankfully for those who been paying attention its the sides of the TM heads that hold friction, the head itself has as small gap of clearance, only rough play may rub it off which is what hasbro is counting on due to their market being more rough unlike the supposedly gentler japanese.

The hasbro version has more obvious color variance upon first glance, though the paint rims on the takara version better homage the gen1 toy, not sure if the paint fools me but the wheels seem...darker, I bet I'm wrong

The canopy's differ as well, hasbro being clear to see the TM, hasbro goes for a shaded look, I presume to hide the little red dude inside, I also presume the canopy is on the same sprue as the wheels and yet takara molds the canopy differently, unless they have multi injection runners like bandai has

If you're buying takara it ain't because budget, the exclusive redeco extra weapon, MAYBE its hard to find the tr versions in your own country (which is how I personally got dudded into getting the takara versions, until they shown up after my hardhead shipped, greeeaaaat), but it would be because of the heads, in my experience since I bought a bit of both the takara titan masters have a cleaner paint job which will help out the most autistic of collectors, but the real draw is their heads, the toy accurate demo in most cases is too similar to the anime deco and as we know anime accurate isn't always a good thing but the heads are what many would prefer the most.

I think no matter which you buy you're in for a treat, just one happens to be cheaper than the other
