Benio is cheap and easily available if you like samurai girls, same for Xiphos if European medieval knights are more your thing. You can also save up for a blank body (skin-tones, white, black, school-swimsuit, gym uniform, etc) and get a Shinki set that lacks the body but has the head and armor like Grapparap.

With some modifications to the neck of a bootleg Figma Archetype She you can have a blank body for a Shinki head for under $20, Assault Lily bodies are used with Shinkis too but they're pricey.

I'd just like to add in that putting your Shinki on an Assault Lily body will open up the clothing options tenfold. Sand paper is harder to fuck up with. I've gouged more than a few kits using just a knife. It also /does/ look quite a bit better with most colors

Personally, I only use sandpaper on exposed, obvious areas, like FAG skin and hair pieces. Most nubs are fairly well hidden and if you do a good job, it's hard to notice on most colors.

Ah damn, I only picked up those two, but I'll grab 800 next time. 1000 was the highest grade of waterproof sandpaper they had, but they had two other types in different grades, one was rust coloured and the other was white, I can't remember the description, white one was 'non-zinc' I think. The energy shield is from as MSG add on kit. The shield and rifle(along with the purple arms) are from the Kagatsuchi-Otsu Frame Arm kit. They're meant to show off the architect's adaptor pieces that allow her to use stock frame arms, uh, arms.

I wanted to ask, as far as Shinki go, there are quite a few of the Dengeki repaint versions of Maochao, Howlin, and Pommock up on Mandarake(the ones in the cardbacked clamshell). Is there a reason they're are so many still laying around? Oh and if you want to make a cubic base, you'll have to combine bases 001, 002, or 003 to 004, 005 or 006.
The walls of 001, 002 and 003 can only be put together in a parallel line (I cheated on the first pic)
So if you want to make a corner out of the walls, you'll have to get one base for each vol. (ex. if you get base 001, get either 004, 005 or 006)
