I want Buu to get different treatment than Cell and Frieza. Buu has a lot of compatible versions with already released figures. Not to mention that Buu can go alongside Z, GT, and Super releases fine if released just as Buu.

Vegeta is actually different from armor trunks, shoulders and thighs are bigger, his boots are shorter which is the easiest way to make him shorter, his torso doesn't look as disjointed as trunks does either

And I was expecting some fun daily life comedy with Vegito and the gang trying to figure out how to separate the two. Like it takes an episode to remember how they separated the first time. Got my first DBZ Figuarts and it's the SDCC Broly. A friend of mine went to SDCC this year and grabbed me one and finally got it to me in person as a late birthday gift. I was pretty excited.

Now I just have to wait for Gotenks and the Xenoverse Trunks and I'm set for awhile.

The new Nappa mold is shorter than the original which was in scale to the out of scale Vegeta we got in the first place.

Generally the short characters are too tall and the tall characters are made shorter to fit in their stupid standard box size or to skimp on plastic costs.

Wrong. They guessed that the weird atmosphere of Buu's interior separated them because it happened just after Vegetto removed his barrier. It's obvious that Toriyama gave that explanation as the truth back then.

But the Super writters just retconned it and now you have to believe that the fusion reached the time limit just after they removed the barrier, like it was some sort of ridiculous coincidence.

That was the whole point. Same shit they pulled with the time chamber no longer having that 2 day limit, they just keep going back to it whenever they can now. Why not have some Potara earrings on hand from now on and combine whenever they need to. It's terrible writing. At least Toriyama put some effort with his limited brain power to keep things balanced.

The dance fusion only lasts 3 minutes and then needs a huge cooldown time, that's the negative. Also they might have retconned it, but you need to be of similar build besides having the same power level. Potara fusion ignores all that, but it is permanent so in the way you are killing two people to form a new person. Lasting only one hour is a huuuuge plus, nothing is stopping you from doing it. Lasting as long as an hour means you can likely finish the fight in time. It's about keeping things from not being overpowered, Otherwise it's just crappy fan fiction level writing.

How is permanent fusion not a negative?

Maybe it's hard to look past for DB fanboys that only care about powerlevels, but think about it in-universe, being permanently merged with another person would have huge lasting implications for the characters' lives and families. So at least in theory, that makes for an interesting writing setup.

But now, we basically have two forms of fusion that do the exact same thing, instead of having their own pros and cons. It makes the world smaller for no good reason.

The whole point of placing limitations is so you wouldn't just do the convenient thing over and over and over and be the same story. It's not about explaining how they removed that particular limitation and calling it a day. I know it sounds stupid when you have magic balls that grants you wishes, but even then they placed some limitations to those wishes so you can't "break the game" every time.

Potara fusion was clearly meant to be a permanent merger, hence Goku didn't want to use it on Satan, and everyone seemed to have forgotten about the dragon balls so it might not have been fixable by the wishes. Despite what your muscle brain might think that is quite the sacrifice to make, especially for prideful Saiyans.

Time chamber fix, yeah now time limit to fighting a stronger enemy means nothing so that type of crisis is forever gone from the show. Great writing. And it was Dende that made it that way removing the lifetime usage limit. No reason he will put it back.

Being inside Buu was the reason they separated.I don't know why people think otherwise. It was a lucky accident. Cheap trick but they already built up the tension so going back to the status quo is the common thing to do.

Hey, why care about a stupid show like DB with these details? Because there are very few of these rules and laws for that universe, so it's not hard to follow them. I wish they put in some effort and maybe come up with some new ways of defeating stronger foes instead of bringing back old useless techniques or making old tricks a game breaker by writing out the cons.

Much like a lot of anons in this thread I just wish most of these guys were in scale. I put together the title card lineup the other week and it really put the scale issue into perspective. The fact that Trunks is shorter than Vegeta kills me the most haha. Also, if they ever did a 2.0 for Piccolo I'd really like them to add inch to his height or something, he's super short too. Once these guys are all spread apart or doing their own thing it doesn't bug me, but having Krillin above Piccolo's belt line is a no go haha.
