I think I'm gonna skip all of this wave. None of the Deluxes are doing it for me, and Legends are always impossible to find. Might wait and see what Takara does with Kickback, and I'll definitely wait to get a repaint of the Bumblebee mold. I've got no love for Gnaw, really.

Part of the issue is that I can never find shit. I'll waste untold money in gas to find a $10 figure. I think I'll just sit back and watch for a bit.

Yeah the yellow plastic definitely played a part, it was the really shitty, "im totally going to snap it" type of yellow plastic. There's also a lot of mold flash, too loose/tight joints. Anyway that must be like a decade ago.

What's your thoughts on foil stickers?

Was watching Peugh's Megatron review. He mentions that the part of the stickers near the joints are starting fray and the Decepticon logo on the curved surface of the nosecone just doesn't stick.

The only foil sticker TR I have is Rewind and I'm already annoyed by how the pre-applied stickers are misaligned. I realize that it's Hasbro's easy way to add color while saving costs, but I just wish they would just include the sticker sheets and let us apply them ourselves.

I don't like bigger size classes, but Megatron looks like unpainted gray dump. Optimus is okay, but I don't really like triple-changers, and if I were going to, I'd wait for Octane, because Optimus has enough exposure. Not a fan of Hot Rod at all (The MP is pretty great, and has a much more interesting color scheme, IMO, I hate when Rodimus is just plain red/yellow), and Triggerhappy has an awesome alt. mode, but overall just looks so... bland. Can't put my finger on it.

So while some things in this wave do interest me, I'd rather wait for their inevitable repaints.

I feel like I'm gonna get attacked for this, but I never really cared for Sixshot. Too many modes, all of them sub-par. Also not a fan of his color scheme. I really like the concept of a crazy Decepticon who has 6 modes, but the execution requires that we fly too close to the sun.

Got Astrotrain today. They stamped the product serial # on the top front of the train mode and some of the paint apps are in high-friction areas and seem almost as if they were designed to rub off with use.

Gen Arcee is weird as fuck with its weapon storage. It has like 8 different ports but only two of them are useable in robot mode and there are like 3 on the underneath of the car that are totally worthless.

The numbers needed are huge and while online is taking off it's still only
Making about 25% of total sales in America retail. To go solely online would likely cut off a lot of buyers. Also much like Takara's MP line you would see a huge drop in variety. You would have gotten at best the 4 autobot head masters at this point and thing like Soundwave and Fort Max wouldn't happen or be so far down it would take decades.

If they could at least get their casing handled better it would probably help a lot though. It's like half of every wave shelfwarms with the highly sought out figs being extremely hard to find and it's been that way as far back as I can remember.

I don't really know all the ins and outs though but I can't fathom Hasbro doesn't see the lost dollar signs here, especially when so many stores fail to order final waves of any given line.

They don't lose money if you have enough sell of the case and what not. Think of it like how buying in bulk is cheaper then one item as needed. It's the same idea sell bigger amounts and you get bigger chances at returns without having to sell everything. That was what lead to the spiraling mess of the Marty Club they had to have certain numbers of sales and what not to balance out product produced and profit made. So if you can offer the product to millions it opens up better chances of sales and not having to fear overstock eating profits.

Now 3rd printing is a whole mess that has a lot of pioneering days before we can enjoy a world of button pushing custom toys.

We have had digital games for for over a decade and streaming has been a thing for 16 years, we are finally seeing streaming exclusive shows and the Video game market is still 70% physical. The growing pains needed for toy companies to consider changing a 100 year distribution system to go to a digital print system will be a great feat to see.

I know i'm talking about 10 years late, but I have some questions regarding Bendy Prime.
I bought him about a month ago and i have to admit that I love him, but the thing is that mine has some common issues; I already modded the tights so he can bend the legs forwards and it turned out pretty well.
1) The smokestacks are really anoying, should I just glue them or is there a better solution to get away with it?
2) One of the slides on the forearms apparently is loose, how can I tighten it up?
3) Has anyone already tried to mod the elbows so they can be double-jointed? I tought about shaving off the balljoint peg and adding a mushrom peg or something to enable some extra rotation.

UW Computron is fine in terms of general QC.
The only 3 issues I could really point out are Lightspeed's combiner join being kind of floppy, Strafe's legs not staying tabbed together particularly well as a limb and Nosecone being pretty much unable to hold his drill in his hands due to how the port and the peg are designed. Those are practically nitpicks though.

And make sure you're getting the hands and feet and not the computron PE set. The Computron PE set is mostly designed for CW Computron and doesn't come with hands and feet. You can still use the head upgrade and gun obviously but the chestpiece is useless for UW Computron.

Also besides Gundam markers, regular ol' metallic sharpies work wonders for detailing parts you don't have to touch, like hubcaps. It will rub off with some friction, but for shit like hubcaps which never get touched, it looks good.
