Hello Subjectanon.
>>6010401
left is an enlarged recast, btw
>>6010405
Hair and beard looks like doughy shit. Also, you can be a fucking classical-tier sculptor (which Hasbro fucking isn't) but if the paint sucks then all the sculpting skill in the world isn't going to help. Bandai's dot printing technique might not be perfect but it's sure as hell a lot better than the THIN YOUR PAINTS tier jobs Hasbro does.
And that's before we even start on the single joints, horrendous QC, lacking paint apps and gummy plastic Hasbro uses.
>>6010408
ok, the beard being doughy is just false, because it's just painted on just like most of the hair on the dot matrix printed figures
>>6010413
Nigga you blind
It's plainly sculpted on in the picture you posted. And it makes him look like he has facial tumors.
Also, to be quite honest, most facial hair doesn't even need to be sculpted on. Look at Figuarts Freddy Mercury; the moustache is printed on and it looks absolutely fine. Only really thick/bushy facial hair sticks out enough to warrant sculpting on.
God damn it, stick to the fucking thread subject.

>>6010418
Not seeing your point. Looks just fine to me. Sculpting it would have made it look far too lumpy for how wispy his moustache was. But by all means, keep pushing your retarded "EVERYTHING MUST BE SCULPTED EVEN IF IT WOULD MAKE THE FIGURE LOOK OBJECTIVELY WORSE" meme. It'll go nicely with your "COATHANGERS ARE BETTER STANDS THAN ACTUAL STANDS EVEN THOUGH LITERALLY EVERY TOY MANUFACTURER EVER USES ARTICULATED STANDS" spiel on my "Shitty Subjectanon memes" wall.

Nigga subjectanon would be banned in 5 minutes on reddit. The toy parts of reddit are a fucking sanctuary at this point.

sa is a tranny, will fit perfectly in reddit.

Well, he's using the frontman of reddit: the band as an argument. I'd say the site is perfect for him.

why are you even bringing konami up anyway? they have nothing to do with anyone anymore
My favorite part of the guy defending the poor sculpt on Freddie Mercury is how he keeps calling his full bodied thickass 150 hairs per square inch mustache as being wispy.
Why he's even defending that in a filename thread, it's because he has no sense of humor and gets triggered at the slightest mock

Explain please, I have never heard of that.
>>6011234
That is my fetish.
>>6011272
It's a guy making mountains out of mole hills.
It's like when someone says a line has poor QC for the paint apps and people automatically think that everyone single one is poorly painted, when in actuality, it's like one figure out of every 5 that might look bad.
Anyway, what the guy probably read is that most prototypes are sculpted are sculpted at 105% of the actual size, to account for the shrink that happens during the molding process.
All toys are made like this and precautions are taken, given the fact of how theyre sculpted.
Or maybe he's just talking about the natural expansion of all things when heated, which again, is a known factor, but has no real effect on the production of a toy.
