I think realistically, Wolverine has a good shot of getting in after Venom. He's pretty popular, and naturally suited to action karate poses. He doesn't have any weapons, so maybe we'd luck out and get a nice slash effect piece.

The argument was made in the last thread that he was written out of existence, which isn't /completely/ true considering they gave him a weird backdoor that wasn't truly killing him.

He was trapped in a time loop and chopped up and trapped in the Darkforce Dimension so he couldn't be returned. It could be said with the weird multiversal secret wars shenanigans that whatever forces were in place were weakened and he comes back as his pre-Thunderbolts appearance -- considering Thanos came back from having his fucking skull ripped out by Doom during Secret Wars, I think it's pretty plausible. Plus an updated figure would be really nice.

Iron Man for sure, Kaiyodo loves making them and will continue to do so in any format. I hope they pick a suit that looks very different from the modern movie like designs.

Everyone says Wolverine and I think it will be stupid of them not to do a classic one.

Knowing Kaiyodo's mentality of doing something different, I think they will deviate from MCU stuff, or go the opposite and make future movie characters ahead of time as comic book version. Other companies need to wait a while after the movies to make their movie figures, so Kaiyodo has the advantage of having their own schedule lining up the release of the comic book version with their movie counterpart.

Personally I would like to see some more villains.

No info weather or not they will do DC, but if so Batman will be up there since Kaiyodo have made a couple for the movies and TV show so I assume they have the rights to do comic as well. But this is Marvel board so enough of DC.

ML's are so cheap now. I feel with all the waves released they've clogged the market so much. Literally Rogue and Wolverine used to be $40 and now they're only $11.82 and $15. Venom used to be $30+ and now he's cheap too. The whole Abomination wave (It was with how it was distributed) has been almost half off retail for the whole time it's been out.

No, the coloration is different.

The BAF is metallic purple with metallic red sections, as opposed to metallic blue/grey with matte red, solid color hands as opposed to translucent hands, and the flames on his head are a more yellowish orange than the SDCC Dormammu.

I've gotta say, I ended up liking a couple figures out of the strange wave more than I thought. Mordo's a pretty good toy, but I was probably gonna dump him before I ended up seeing the movie. I'm keeping him and movie strange now.

In the same vein, I don't know shit about enchantress and I figured I'd sell her once I built the baf, but she ended up being pretty nice. She's actually got an expression, her face paint is on point, and they finally started using rubbery plastic for the hair so she can do something besides looking straight ahead. It's a pitty about the lack of a neck hinge and that bum knee, but she's probably the best character on that body.

So I haven't bought any marvel legends shit for years but I really like the new spiderman shit thats come out lately. Anyone got some cool displays with spidey and some villains they could post?

Terry Shoemaker, who drew the character for a long run of X-Factor in the 90's, played the character design 100% safe and had more time and ability to add to the character's look than Jim Lee did. Meanwhile, both artists' renditions could easily be represented in the figure that we already got because neither artist added anything unique to the design.

I like the DD from the Spider-Man Hobgoblin wave (middle one). There's also a newer yellow 1st appearance look and an old Affleck movie DD. In a year a Netflix Legends wave will be released, but I'm not a huge fan of the tv show costume. As for supporting characters: Elektra, Punisher, Spider-Man, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Misty Knight, Kingpin, Nuke, and Bullseye. You should also try to make or buy a custom Stilt-Man.

I passed on movie Strange at first because I thought he'd be super common, so I grabbed up the only Nico I had seen at the time instead.

If anything, what's off about it is the neck being too elongated. But if you don't care for movie-accuracy it's an alright figure that can get into some decent crouching stances. Also considering how little paint it already has, there's really nothing to watch out for.

It's a little awkward in some poses, but overall a fun figure. Wrists are not hinged--only cut joints. If you're into modding figures to get a little more range out of their articulation, shave off some of the back of his head (under the base, where the neck pegs into the cranium) to get him to look "up" more.

Why do so many people see the McFarlane Spider-Man as the highest quality Spider-Man figure?

It's not that they see him as "the highest quality" but here's a list of what he does:

>hits lots of the iconic spidey poses with ease
>is detailed and painted well
>is the spiderman design that most people remember, McFarlane had a big impact on artists and fans alike so his spidey is pretty iconic

Aside from that, no other Spidey has quite stacked up unil recently. McFarlane's still looks really good, but I'd never pay it's asking price.

I've had mine since 2012, have all the new ones including Ben reilly, scarlet, pizza, ultimate, raft, he's still my favorite.

For me, has a unique mold, comic proportions, very stylized. And it still holds up articulation

Really the biggest downside is that it can't really do any crawling/crouching poses to save its life (it doesn't even have ankle rockers/pivot), which is obviously a big deal for a character like Lizard.

That said, it's still the best looking Lizard figure we've gotten by far and size-wise it fits well enough with MLs.

Got the Civil War 3 pack for 22 bucks. It's on walmart's site and you even get a shitty iron mask bundled with it which I will be donating in a drive. Really not a bad price for it, even if the spiderman is not accurate. At least I now own the more to scale Iron Man even if the articulation is worse than the 42 mold. Nice to have the Tony head and extra effects as well.
