Hi, /toy/
I've taking a liking to the action figures in the figma Table Museum line, I'll admit it.
Can you recommend any other museumesque toys so I can flesh out the collection?
Maybe even a uh museum diorama for them to live in. Wouldn't that be cool?!
Also it's a little silly how on myfigurecollection all the images of David and Vitruvian Man are classed as "NSFW" don't you think?
Thanks!

None that I know of. I love this line though> I want to get a David. I need a legit Thinker too. Got one that was bootleg but his joints disintegrated as soon as I touched him =l
Revoltech takeya is a series of buddhist statues, l think it can give you a museum/art feeling

In the same vein, the spiritual-successor KT Project line is designed to resemble old Jizai Okimono iron sculptures, and many of them would fit in perfectly in a museum-type setup.

Anyone here have Venus? Is she worth it. I think I might get David this holiday when shipping speeds up.

Seconding info on Venus.

Especially the iron coloured ones or wood grain colors

Venus is pretty fantastic, she's very similar to David and comes with both a regular figma stand and also a special statue stand too. Swapping the torso's and dresses can be a bit fiddly bit it works fine, and the articulation in the cut dress is still kinda limited.
Altogether though i'm really happy with it, looking forward to the Vitruvian, Cherubs and Scream.

Okay, thanks. I saw a few pics with the skirt removed too. Is it easy to detach or is it glued at spots to her?
David or Thinker?
I have every one of them and they look fantastic. I'm really excited with The Scream and the Samurai guy.
I have this bootleg one

The Scream is up for pre-order.

Where did you get the bootleg?
>>6007391
Not him, but eBay and AliExpress have bootlegs. EBay bootlegs all have sub-retail prices for them and have sellers located in China, Hong Kong, or Taiwan.
As for >>6006905 , how sturdy is Chinker? I've had bad experiences with China Solid Snake and Saber Bride, but the old style archetypes were mostly fine.
>>6007035
That...would actually be fun to see, especially since it would have completed arms and the head like with what they did with Venus.

EBay

When I ordered it, it came in a fake box, which was thrown in there.
It look broken, but just has a lot of peices.
The extra pieces look cheap, so I keep it in a simple pose.
Which still looks good.

Samurai guy?
I have Thinker, Venus, and David, as well as preorders for Virtuvian and the cherubs, but I have always hated the Scream painting. It is impressive how they made the figure have the texture of a painting, and the snake-like body is cool (why can't we have more robed figures like that), but it creeps me out.

Here's a curator to look after your museum.

Also, You knoe...
Damn. These look great. Might have to check ebay for the KOs. But I'll gladly pay full price for a Perseus.

Goddamn, after all the stuff I've fapped to over the years the figures of Grecco-Roman statues of women still makes me harder than marble.
>>6009770
I would want a Perseus figma, so bad
Good taste, anon

Yeah, we need more female nude figmas, I like all the have been released/announced so far, but only one female (Venus) is a bit lacking IMO.
