Similar for me. Sir Godfrey shipped out today and should be delivered tomorrow. Seems like they have either improved on their shipping time or have much less stock to deal with.

The 4h releases work on an alternating system of time limited initial pre-orders then stock limited direct sales.

Basically, when a new wave comes out, they give everyone about a month to order as many of whatever figure they're selling at the time as collectors want. So if you want a dozen of a specific figure and one of everyone else, thatbwould be the best time to place your order because there are no quantity limits.

Once those figures are produced and in hand, they'll ship to who ever pre-ordered while putting up a small amount of extras for sale on the site. These sales are limited by the remaining stock of certain figures so they usually go fast.

Right now, we're about to get a few in-stock sales. So head to their new webshop and sign up for their newsletter so you'll know about when they put up their extra figures for sale on the site. They usually give a week's warning, and tell people the exact time orders open up.

Apparently mone was supposed to show up last friday, and the label was made tuesday.

As someone who works in a shipping store, the lowest I see anything ship for is $10 bucks. They're probably paying like 9 for the shipping, and charge a few bucks more to cover the boxes and the pick up service. Considering it seems to be a flat rate for the whole continental US, that's not bad.

I was honestly kind of surprised when I first felt how soft the Mace handle was too, the Halberd head is also oddly rubbery as is the two special swords. The basic weapons don't feel that soft, I can't figure out why they'd make the weapon packs so squishy.

Rubbery plastics are least likely to break.

It's probably the only thing on my 4H toys to ever break, back when they used hard plastics.
Of course, both of the weapons that broke on me is because they fell off my shelf. Figures survived just fine.

There will be entirely new weapons added to this wave, as well as accessories (bows and quivers are expected). Hopefully the new weapons have a bit more variety then the old ones, and they avoid the issue of stretched hands that we got from the overly thick axes.

I find the wrist clips just destroy detail on the arm, they're terrible and I hate them.

Try instead the shields from the Dragon Quest Legends Item Gallery, the pieces happen to be pretty much to scale with ML figures and feature actual handles and straps.

Pic related, I've also been messing with magnification mirrors to see if they make displaying figures look better. They're kind of funny because they pick up detail from weird angles of the room (from anything beyond the magnification focal range) and reflect it upside down and tiny.

It hasn't happened yet. They'll announce about a week before the sale starts when it starts, but at that point stock will go fast.

I just got my birds in, and the Dragon looks fantastic. Though two of my four birds seem to have floppy elbows that kind of ruin things for me. It's not a hard fix, but it's something that shouldn't need to get fixed. Still, these guys are all pretty fantastic, but having so many of the same mold starts getting tiring. The Legion figures are easy enough to gear up with unique parts, but the birds are much more difficult to work with.

I'll probably get one or two more figures from the wave 1 series, but I'm more then ready for the fresh new figures coming in wave 2.

They just announced today that the remaining Wave 1 Legion Builders, Wave 1.5 Characters and Wave 2 birds will all go up for sale NEXT Friday, Nov 11th. They also said some older stock figures may also go up for sale, but no details were given just yet. Belts easy. Just pull him apart.
As for the cap, the two central holes are pegged in by the shoulder connections.
Then instead of folding it back, I wrapped it around him and hooked it over those little roundels.

It kind of works. If you ask me, the cap is a little too long.

From what I remember, BBTS actually got the wave 2 birds for essentially wholesale and only added a smaller mark up (at the request of the 4H) compared to the initial wave of birds. However they paid the same price for the Mythic Legion figures as every other Kickstarter backer, meaning to get any profit a larger mark-up was needed. Though they did seem to keep that mark up semi reasonable (again, at the 4H's request) because as shown by the wave 1 birds, BBTS has no issue doubling the price on these things.

There will be a sale on friday for a small amount of figures in limited quantities directly through 4H's website. This is your best chance to get these guys at their actual price. Sometime in December, the 1.75, Trolls and All-Star wave are expected to arrive, so once again you'll have a limited chance to get even more figures. Sometime early next year, the Wave 2 Kickstarter will start, which will give you about a month or so to get however many figures you want, but it'll probably be a year or two before those figures actually get shipped out to you. I'm kinda tempted to get the DQ weapon set, but I'm just curious if those things are metal or plastic. I was never a fan of using metal weapons on my toys as I feel the added weight may lead to extra strain on the joints and hands. But I do love the idea of adding some more variety to my Legion's arsenals.

They are plastic and quite sturdy. Most of the weapons in the set are swords and shields (medium size ones and a few that are like bucklers on MLs) but there is a trident that MLs can hold in both hands, a magic staff (with a goofy mascot on it though), and a kukri knife-shaped boomerang (that was mysteriously absent from my set for some reason?). Oh and a hammer but I may have posted that already.

I reccomend them absolutely, even for the shields alone ypu're getting a lot of stuff that's far better than the majority of ML weapons.

Cornboy posted on facebook that the website wasn't working right and it limited them to only being able to put one figure in stock at a time. Between the sheer amount of figures and everyone refreshing the pages and carts and everything, putting each figure in stock is taking a while.

They should really take this kind of stuff as a clue as to just how popular these figures are and just make more of them. Invest in a wharehouse where you can store extra figures and just keep a rotating stock of characters on hand to sell whenever.

Avoid big releases like this because it does nothing buy cause headaches for everyone involved.

The Kickstarter happened years ago, the stuff being sold and shipping out now were figures made and sold after the KS ended through the old 4H store last summer. Pretty much every figure is a repaint, except seven of the birds who got new heads.

In a few months a second KS will start featuring new mold parts for the initial body types as well as new body parts for female and elven characters.

So I bought my first birds back during the first Gothi kickstarter, Falcus and Cardinus. I bought the wings for Falcus since I imagined him the leader.

Then they announced the Blue Jay and got him since Cardinus needs a bro, but now that the Ravens are back on the table I kinda want one of them too. But they look more "leader-y" than Falcus.

I might make the Raven an advisor-type, but I probably won't need wings in that case.

While they were still up on the shop I tried the trick to check their stock. Basically you try to add a large quantity of a figure to your cart and it'll max out at how many figures they actually have. Only tried it with Pixxus, but when I went to add 100 to the cart, only 57 actually got added.

Meaning, expect less then 100 of each figure (probably even fewer of the 'found' wave 1 guys) to be available. If you want a guaranteed chance at these guys, you gotta get them on the first run. These in-stock sales are short and fierce as they don't carry too much more then what's ordered.

They've got articulation that's pretty standard for western figures. Some of them have issues with paint scraping, can't remember which figures specifically besides the barbarian builder. The sculpts are really nice. There aren't many options for fantasy figures either.

This sale was an extremely limited stock-only sale, they had very small amounts of each figure. Just keep an eye out for updates as there will always be more sales and more re-releases. The best way to get these guys is through pre-order sales as those do not have limits and don't run out of stock.

As for the shipping, with this new shop they can't combine shipping orders at all. However, the order you're talking about with the Trolls is one that's still in production. They mentioned the possibility of that shipment arriving sometime before Xmas, so it's still a while before you'll see those figures.

You should go to their Kickstarter page and "follow" the project, that way you'll get emails with their updates. Or subscribe to them on their site, you'll also get emails about sales and what not that way.
