Is anyone else here? Tons of cool stuff on display.
>>5983613
>Is anyone else here?
Look around. Do you see people? Then the answer is yes, numbnuts.
>>5983621
Oh you know what I mean
>>5983621
Keep your shitposting in the non-third party general.

>>5983693
Don't think so, I don't see DX9.
They do have the new Machine Robo figures though! I got to handle the Blackbird Robo, and that Bluejet is fucking fantastic.
I've got some more pics I can post later.
>>5983706
>Year of the grand dragon Pyungyoungyu
>Ching Chong Ping Pong caring about IP infringement
3P wins again.
Also TFSource's booth is selling every member of FP Saurus for 30 bucks each.
I feel like I should get one but I don't know which is the best.
>>5983724
None of them are imo, I'd be buying them for weapons and then reselling the figures for $25 without them.
>>5983712
I really want that space shuttle bot and isn't one of them a train too?
>>5983775
Yes! He looks like one of the best. Please excuse the bad picture, can't crop very well.
>>5983802
Fuck yes. I do t actually know anything about machine robo, but I can't resist a space shuttle or a locomotive bot.
>>5983613
So he's just PM Prime? No inner robot?
>>5983809
It's my favorite show that I've never seen, the opening was all I needed.
>>5983810
Honestly if thats how it is, it's probably for the best. Doing robot-in-a-robot usually means one or both modes end up shit.
>>5983818
It wouldn't be that difficult since the inner robot would be a square cab that could easily slot in. UM is the one with issues since the inner robot wears the other parts as armor.
>>5983802
Shit that looks really good. The train's wheels end up as both sides of the legs and the whole front of the train looks like it hinges in to connect as the bottom portion of the torso. Jesus.
>KBB MP10-V gonna be here tomorrow
Fucking what? That shit got all the way here from Texas in like 3 days? How in the shit did that happen?
...Is the 3P thread where we talk about KO's?
lol oh wow
>>5983951
Time to wait another three to five years for a MTMTE Cyclonus or start fishing for battles in space 2 packs.
>>5983613
I was there yesterday. I enjoyed it.
>>5983951
Wow that looks terrible.
>>5983951
I expected nothing and I'm still disappointed. This mold is garbage.
>>5983951
I hope they realise that this things bombs because its a shitty over greebled mold reuse and not because people dont want the character.
Just repostin' from the other thread, but does anyone know how to possibly tighten a MMC Bovis combiner joint? The ratchet is noticeably looser on mine than his other leg. It kind of flops a bit when I lift him. It doesn't mess with his posing, far as I can tell, but I would like to tighten it if possible.
I'm pure shit at trying to take anything apart though, and lack the tools to do so, but I could potentially try, though would rather not risk my $100 toy to a shitty glasses screwdriver and my own ineptitude. Would futureshine possibly work?
>>5983984
You pay 20 bucks to enter and you get access to everything on Sunday, or pay 30 for Saturday where they had more stuff to do. You could get weekend passes as well.
>>5983996
Ehhhhh, I only wanted to save shipping on carnifex.
>>5983988
The plastic doesn't look good, and it has barely any paint. Is it supposed to be finished?
I love this figure.
Anyone here jump ship from one of the third party MP Megatrons to get the official one instead?
>>5984027
He is amazing, yeah.
>>5984009
What you see is a factory prototype but yes that is likely to be the finalized version exactly as it is.
>>5984131
How many fucking toys does FT even have in the works?
Galvatron and Grimlock are the most oldest ones that are a year+ in development and still aren't out.
They announced weirdwolf and Skyfire to release this december (fat fucking chance).
Now we have springer, outrider, and omega supreme?
Instead of shitting out test shots how about they finish a god damn figure?
>>5983802
It's a damn shame trainbots are so few and far between. I wonder if any 3P would eventually tackle Rail Racer...
>>5984212
Fuck Rail Racer, the RID figure still holds up pretty decently.
New Raiden when?
>Old toy is a brick
>Trains are tiny
>Costs well over £1000 for 6 bricks that turn into a brick
>>5984205
Well in omega's case he was announced way back in 2014. FT have been getting faster they released the last two insecticons and hound all in the same year.
Aside from the Machine Robo stuff, my favorite part of the day had to be seeing a demonstration of Bold Forms' Gladius and getting to hold it in gun mode.
Complex transformation, perfect gun size, and pretty damn solid. I really hope the final release turns out this good. Unfortunately the stock is not removable but it really doesn't bother me too much.
I think the guy showing it may have been the designer/owner of the company. Either way he had some interesting stuff to say. I've got a video starting from after the legs are partially transformed, but it's fucking long so maybe I'll cut it down if anyone's interested.
>>5984222
Getting to see this Raiden in person was a treat. Sure as hell not spending that much though.
>>5984258
do it faget
Also how bad do you think the partsforming is to tank mode. Did the gun mode require partsforming?
>>5984281
>675
as in $675?! Fuck that noise Did you try to haggle with him?
>>5984293
Nah, I'm not really interested in buying the older stuff, but I still think it's cool. I think that might be a fair price for a complete giftset though.
>>5984287
I don't think it needs to partsform, maybe only the barrel, but some parts can stay on the shoulders in bot mode and carry over to tank.
Basically, the only partsforming from what I could tell is stuff you'd normally see on a Megatron. I seem to remember the guy stressing how minimal / nonexistent it was.
BF is also doing a few chibi seekers after this.
>>5983724
Wish I had a friend who could buy that shit for me..
>>5984293
$675 is a fucking steal for a complete Raiden with box mate.
>>5984323
It's pretty simple. The hardest part of the jet is his shoulder assembly (which isn't that hard) and sliding his backpack up/down (which for me was *really* tight for the first few times).
The tank is literally just flipping panels and sandwiching it together.
Haven't put him into base mode yet.
>>5984258
This is the Megatron I'm waiting for. Gun mode and tank mode, that's what I want.
>>5984325
Maybe for an NFRB in a mint or near mint box but, it says "all new combiner parts" meaning its refurbished. Also one of them looks to be yellowing unless its just the lighting.
>>5984337
No, it says "has all combiner parts"
>>5984337
It says 'Has all combiner parts' not 'all new combiner parts' on that sticker.
Do people even make reproduction parts for the more obscure G1 guys?
>>5984339
>>5984341
>looks again
oh for fucks sake....I'm going to bed....
>>5984281
Oh Artfire still hasn't sold that? In TFcon Toronto that was $1000 CAD since the exchange rate is shit.
Btw how much is his MIB Landcross this time. I see the box right beside Raiden so better ask now.
I would buy it myself if I had the money but considering me, the moment I buy it 2 days later we would suddenly get a reissue release.
>>5984341
Actually yes they do. You can buy KOs of Raiden still and people sometimes use the KO parts for their legit loose ones.
>>5984391
$215
>>5984492
Oh damn, Thanks for checking.
I wish he had that during the other TFcon. He only had a loose one and I bought it, would have preferred it to have a box.
>>5984258
>boldforms
No matter how good this release will be, it will never overcome the shadow of lonewolf. Impossible toys are in the same boat. They both shat out the biggest turd in the history of turd party figures. There is no recovering.
>>5984498
>They both shat out the biggest turd in the history of turd party figures.
If you think that, you're sorely mistaken. Don't forget who shat out a figure so fucking terrible it had to be discounted on release.
>>5984498
I don't think Lonewolf was that bad.
They had some other new 3rd party stuff on display too.
>>5984503
Think about when Valkyrie and Lonewolf came out. Valkyrie went for almost nothing at one point. Wayyyyyyy more discounted than not-sunstreaker.
Valkyrie almost killed impossible toys.
>>5984506
>partsformer
>has to leave parts aside in all modes
>relies on the friction of hinges to keep panels in place
>those godawful truck chunks that won't lock into place
Not to mention that it killed any chances of other boldforms stunticons.
We got some DX9
>>5984513
>sixshot
>that shade of blue
What
>>5984513
Their little Dinobots look nice.
>>5984516
Sorry, most likely due to bad lighting. It looked like proper Sixshot colors in person.
It was closer to this shade.
>>5984520
Lookin' good
Ocular Max Laserbeak looks killer, it can even perch on your finger!
No idea who's doing these.
Maybe this is X-Transbots? It was displayed next to the new Ollie.
>>5984534
Xtransbutts I think.
Poor Toyworld. There's look entirely fucking garbage in comparison.
>>5984543
Jesus that one looks like shit. Is that a fucking eyepatch?
>>5984258
I really want this, but I'd need to see reviews first.
I'm just worried about the potential partsforming, and the overall quality of the figure. I bought Lonewolf, and while the quality of the plastic was good, the joints were loose as all fuck, and there was just WAY too much partsforming going on.
That Gladius gun mode is fuckin sexy though...
>>5984524
So how big is this guy going to be? I'm hoping that he's bigger than a deluxe size so I can have him hang out with my TR Decepticon Headmasters.
>>5984538
I thought it was kfc
>>5984543
Yeah I'm glad I went with DX9. Tank mode looks good but that robot mode is ass.
>>5984549
Its supposed to be a monocle. It comes with extra heads to homage animated bltizwing.
>>5984527
MMC is my favorite company but this Lockdown mold is terrible.
The only one that wears it well is Death's Head.
>>5984567
You know, I forgot to check. He's smaller than I expected. This is a really bad angle but maybe it'll help.
>>5984567
Around 7 inches IIRC. So Voyager sized, more or less.
>>5984567
>>5984527
>Dat jet mode
Every time I see that Not-Cyclonus I wonder what MMC was thinking. He robot is way too greebly and the jet mode barely resembles Cyclonus aside from being a jet and having a long nosecone.
>>5984572
Do you have any pics of the Iron Factory Drift and Deadlock? I see the Deadlock there but was wondering how they looked together.
>>5984577
Neither mode really resembles Cyclonus, its embarrassing.
>>5984576
Wait, is that the IF one? Didn't they say a while ago he was supposed to be 7 inches?
>>5984578
Nothing really good, this is the only one I've got.
>>5984586
It is
>>5984602
But it looks like, in that pic, he's the same size as a Deluxe. Unless theres some perspective fuckery going on. Or they're counting from the tips of his guns or something.
>>5984576
Dang, that's a lot smaller than I was expecting. May still get him, but now I'm hoping one of those KO companies makes one in a bigger size.
>>5984578
Not in hand pics but I think they look good together.
>>5984609
Seems like someone screwed up when they said he was voyager sized and Iron Factory never bothered to say any different so everybody just assumed that would be the case.
>>5984587
That'll do, thank you.
>>5984591
I did on their FB already. There was no response or course.
>>5984585
It doesn't work as Lockdown either. MMC really dropped the ball on this figure.
>>5984614
Yeah they do make a nice set, really looking forward to them.
>>5984630
I actually like the Death's Head version of the mold. So naturally that's the one that's an exclusive.
>>5984614
I can't believe these look near perfect for a much smaller scale but fucking MMC dropped the ball on theirs.
>>5984529
What are these supposed to be scaled with anyway? Their NotRavage looks alright.
>>5984657
I think just various moments in animation where they were scaled up. That and full-sized cassette modes.
>>5983951
Unless the plane mode looks cool, i hope to grab him at $35 or so.
>>5984527
Well, he is better than combiner wars cyclonus, but that is all really.
>>5984707
>$35
Man, Felisaber, a literal who, still hasn't dropped below like $50, and most places can't even give him away. Cyclonus is at least recognizable to people.
Oh shit, not the toy's I'm looking for.
>>5984513
So this is an MP scaled Sixshot?
>>5984725
Judging on how big he is. Yes he is MP scaled.
Jesus christ, Maketoys are doing Powermaster and Nemesis Prime.
This is nuts, although I'm unlikely to get the former.
>>5984797
Yeah, Black Manus is probably gonna get a buy from me. I don't own any Nemesis fig's so this'll be a good one. And their PM Prime looks nice too.
>>5984595
Fembots?
>>5984827
Nope. Shattered Ass versions of Maketoys' shitty Computron
>>5984516
>>5984938
>Hanzo
>DX9 is doing a bastion
Those cheeky bastards.
>>5984797
Looks like it will transform into a truck with a trailer.
The alt mode tends to be the secondary surprise as the full action robot is displayed first.
I still want Nova Prime on this line and some Battle Tanker equivalent.
>>5984797
I hope we will get White Ultra Magnus repaint and Ultra Magnus retool of Powermaster OP.
So when can we expect this?
>>5985159
>MMC
eight months to a year.
>>5983741
Yeah, but you're a retard, so thanks for nothing.
>>5983951
yeah, wow, how dare it look just like the comic, the fucking nerve of that piece of plastic.
>>5985301
That looks nothing like the comic but whatever you say, Sark.
>>5984520
this.
the display cases were in a dark little corner.
>>5985301
>I am blind: the post
Got my KBB-10V Prime today. Fucking great figure so far. Joints are pretty perfect feeling, nothing wrong except a paint chip here or there on the die cast, which is par for course with such a shit material, and one other problem which was probably unique to me as I haven't heard anyone else say anything about it, which is why I was unprepared.
>>5985401
The two red circles. On my copy, the one on his window had some mold flash where it was a bit improperly molded, the peg being too big. I didn't notice it until I closed his chest, which resulted in chipping/gouging the chrome off in the circled spot.
Shit.
Ah well. I'm probably not going to keep him in truck mode much, if at all, and it's kind of tiny, but it put a small damper on my day and this otherwise pretty damn great figure. And given I've not heard of anyone else complaining about this, it was probably just a QC error, and not one I'm going to really bitch to the seller about either seeing as it's such a small imperfection.
Just putting this out there as a tiny warning for anyone else who might get him, thats all.
>>5985407
Serves you right for buying a knock off
>>5985409
Fuck off takaracuck
>>5985609
I desperately hope Simba is as good as reviewers say so I can have confidence buying a KFC product. He looks quite good to me.
IF XTransBots is actually KFC and IF KFC keeps not fucking up I'll be interested in this as well.
>they still haven't changed this
I can't help but giggle.
>>5985670
What the fuck is wrong with his face?
>>5984119
>Anyone here jump ship from one of the third party MP Megatrons to get the official one instead?
Opposite for me. I was making plans to get the MP one until I saw the MMC offering.
>all this talk, pictures, and glowing impressions of carnifex over the last week
I hate you guys.
>>5985866
I like his molded chest hair.
But I might end up being both, one Milne Megs and one cartoon Megs.
>>5985875
you should be glad at least it didn't turn out to be a turkey like the leg-anon was prophesying based off one shitty yt review. Seriously MMC never should have given an early sample to that reviewer (he is fucking terrible).
>>5985875
Don't worry, you'll get yours soon Anon.
>>5985887
Eh, it was a sample copy. Of course shit was going to be wrong with it, thats the whole point of it.
>>5985866
Same here. I liked the MP but I really want a mtmte/IDW one and that guy looks amazing.
>>5985875
>still doing my best to hold out and not buy him
>have kultur preordered
>trying not to splurge too much since he's coming soon
>seeing all these great carnifex pics and other people like you who finally broke down and bought him

>>5984520
which six shot is that one?
>>5986008
I really like the wolf mode for this one. It actually has dedicated back legs and they look pretty nice. The rest are OK.
>>5986185
Iron Factory's
>>5986291
I've only recently dipped my toes into the Iron Factory scene with the Asura Knights (Dynobots). Had no intention on going down the Legends sized figure 3P rabbit hole, but damn if the Dynobots aren't some of the best 3P figures I own.
That being said, how's their Overlord? I already intended on getting Sixshot, but this pic right here makes me feel like I should get Overlord and Black Shadow too...
>>5986378
Their Overlord is a lot of fun, he does have some partsforming in the case where stuff has to be left aside, but he's a fun little figure to pose around.
>>5986378
Do it. Get both of them. Overlord had some issues with his alt modes (in my opinion): parts forming, no where to store the ramps, etc. But that bot mode is a thing of beauty. Totally worth it. Black Shadow is really solid all around, it doesn't do anything /amazing/ but it does it well.
>>5986291
That looks great! Totally picking it up! Any news on when it's released?
She looks cool. Considering how many Arcees are coming out, I wonder if this was result of people looking at the Generations one and going "I bet I can do this better/at a different scale".
>>5986486
It's too bad the altmode looks just awful.
>>5986504
Toyworld is fucking up lately. They're dead last in every war they're participating in. Except maybe OX Prime.
>>5986486
well Weijiang is making an MP sized KO of the generations version with an upgraded backpack that pulls apart to look like this one. So.... since this one has a shitty face I'm going Weijiang.
TFC better not fuck these guys up.
Look who came in the mail. Stellar figure for $45.
This guy's pretty cool, I'm happy KFC got better because I could totally see weak materials destroying this mold.

>>5984517
War in Pocket is heating up, and all over my face
>>5983724
WHAT THE FUCK!? I wished they did that in TFcon Toronto. I would have fucking bought ALL of the members each. I want them but I wouldn't go out of my way to pay full price for it.
Is Iron Factory making a Tarn to go with their other Phase Sixers?
>>5986585
They have the same deal online or the whole thing for 200 something
>>5986587
Tiny DJD would be amazing.
>>5986588
Yeah but do I really want to pay for the shipping? Especially I'm in Canada. Maybe if I live in the USA I could since TFsource has that sweet deal for shipping over $150 in America but in Canadaland the shipping prices is rape prices still and $200 USD is like $270 CAD at the moment. Canadia is turning into a 3rd world country thanks to those fucking liberals.
>>5986589
They would own my ass, I'd have to have them all.
>>5986585
The FP monstructor/dinoking must be selling like complete shit if this is the case. I know they look dated as fuck but is there anything that makes them complete shit out of looks? I heard about the combiner knee snapping and the last two members being in limbo. No one seems to talk about it at all.
>>5986609
That is why I am not going out of my way to pay for it on full price. They are not worth it in my eyes. But what I want is that Road Caesar TFC is doing. The original G1 of that already cost a shitload of money but if I can save about $700 by buying a $300 updated set, then I am all for that till HasTak ever reissues those holy grails for Japanese G1.
>>5986008
Shouldn't the lower leg front parts be purple instead of black? It makes several modes look weird.
>>5986291
Of course the best looking version would be the legends scale.
>>5986689
That applies to all three of them.
>>5986690
I dunno. You can be handsome in more than one scale.
>>5986565
Not even close. Everything I've gotten from them has subpar design and those 3mm peg holes are horrible. Easy pass across the board.
>>5986521
Eh, by pull apart is just detach. Making it so that half the altmode is just there doesn't seem much of an improvement.
>>5986526
i got mine for $40 but i grabed him with cromedome and brainstorm from the same line, in comparason he feels lacking.
Boo.
>>5987116
He's bringing sexy back.
>>5987118
Impactor? I'm CIA.
>>5987118
Thunder thighs is pretty hot, what's his number ;)
>>5987233
He's a big guy.
So theoretically if I knew someone that had a factory in China and I did all the designwork for a toy robot at same complexity, size, and materials as a typical mainline deluxe and only cost to me would be for materials, assembly, packaging and shipping but had no idea about how many would sell, what would be minimum retail price I would need to break even?
>>5987245
That depends on the cost of the other stuff.
This slipped by me.
This looks pretty good.
>>5986504
That's not an alt mode. It's a sex position.
You bastards this is all your fault.
>>5987790
kek.
>>5987797
You made a good choice Anon.
>>5987797
Don't worry bby. He's entertaining as fuck.
>>5987809
I hope so, he should be here by Friday with any luck.
>>5987815
How is that Blitzwing?
>>5987819
Just make sure you've got enough space for him.
>>5987819
>bbts
>even having it shipped out by wednesday
I'm in the same boat because I wasn't able to actually ship mine out until this morning, but I'm not expecting him until monday. I've made three orders from them in the last 6 months and they all took ages to go out.
>>5987828
Pretty good. Very accurate and big. He has some less than desirable tolerances though. The wrist ball joints need some floor polish. You'll need to loosen a screw on his triceps to get his elbows to move a bit easier.
Nothing too bad. His jet mode is fantastic and huge as fuck.
>>5987850
Usually BBTS takes 2 business days to get something out, at least for me. If you order on a Friday or something though, you're shit outta luck until Tuesday normally.
>>5987815
>>5987855
>No con symbol on megs or blitzwing
>>5987885
Are you new to third parties, bro?
>>5987888
I think he's criticizing me for not having reprolabels.
>>5987888
Are you unaware of repro labels?
>>5987896
If anything put a symbol on megs. His chest just looks so barren with out it.
>>5987905
Where do you even get stickers anyway? And why do people call'em reprolabels? Is that a manufacturers name or something?
>>5987914
Yeah, same here. Might have to do with how big the orders are, though. I usually have just one or two things.
>>5987979
>reprolabels
http://reprolabels.com/
>>5987980
That must be it then because I dont buy alot from them, its almost always just one item.
This is pretty attractive. I'm super scared about the official version since ramjet had a ton of issues on top of being a bit of a dated mold.
>>5988105
I meant thrust. They're making ramjet too.
I named all these filenames the wrong thing I'm retarded.
Huh. I was wanting something like this a few weeks ago.
>>5988263
Damn, that's SO close but those legs just kill it.
Could still be fun to mess with though.
>>5988385
Toyworld's seekers are entirely new. They fit only with their stuff it seems.
Alright, here's that crappy video of Bold Forms' Gladius transformation to gun mode I mentioned earlier.
I didn't have the best angle, but hopefully it illustrates things well enough for now.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RQxCWJfQ7E
>>5988406
Jesus that shit looks breakable. Whole lot of spindly, fiddly stuff going on there. But he looks great in each mode imo.
>>5988425
I don't mind that sort of stuff, personally, as long as it can hold together if I'm careful with it.
>>5988406
>all those bits form paneling for the gun mode
holy shit the only thing that looked like it partsformed was the gun barrel silencer. The treads in Tank mode become the stock too.
I wish it was sculpted a little better in robot mode and that there was a lot more paint. I'll see what's up with the final production but it's looking more like a cool novelty.
>>5987819
>mfw I ordered mine over the weekend from TFSource and it actually shipped out the next business day and will be here by Thursday
It's a goddamn miracle
>>5987118
He's ok I guess. Aside from the face which is 10/10 I'm not that impressed.
>>5988757
What more did you want from him?
>>5988406
come on, give me a classics scale version.
>>5985159
Why can't Sark into proper hips and elbows. He's been using the same thin looking designs since the feralcons and Captain Shark. Even Overlord has somewhat weak looking hips and strangely long forearms
>>5986486
Her head looks too small. I'm perfectly alright with the Hasbro version so why bother?
>>5989005
It's supposed to be MP scale I think. Supposed to be, anyway. Personally I'm waiting for HasTak or Maketoys to make an MP Arcee.
>>5988863
Not him but: no stupid elongated Bayonetta tier proportions and no overdetailing.
>>5989026
Then you're looking for G1 Overlord, not IDW.
>>5989027
Stop it with this fucking retarded argument. Carnifex's limbs and altmodes don't look anything like IDW.
>>5989034
He looks nice on his own, but I'm with you on this. I hope someone does a more comic-accurate version.
>>5989034
>based on IDW Overlord
>hurr it doesn't match up 1/1 it's not that
"Based" meant something before being corrupted by retards.
>>5989056
>based
Who are you quoting
>>5989055
Similar sure. I don't have any problem with Carnifex being considered an IDW inspired Overlord, because it totally is. Just not the one I would personally want. Transformation and engineering-wise he looks great, but stylistically he's just not for me.
I think it's mostly the legs. I kind of hate Carnifex's legs. Both his sins and upper legs have this weird bulbous-yet-pointy look that I don't care for.
Also still too many parallel lines, which I am all burnt out on. The parts that were redesigned (there was that one article talking about his design process, basically the legs are from the original design) look great, but they should have just scrapped the rest of it and started completely over.
You guys do realize that a perfectly accurate cartoon or IDW toy can never exist, because the comics and cartoons rely on transformations that cannot exist in real life. They can shift sizes and parts in a comic books and cartoons in ways that you cant in real life, at least not without part swapping or parts forming.
>>5989027
I ain't looking for anything precise. I just like what looks good.
Unfortunately the only other Overlord coming out is DoubleEvil which is a too G1 for me. And the jet nose is way way too big imo.
I'll probably hold off and see how the official one measure's up. Won't be as nice a toy, but the price is something to take into consideration too. I could pay $180+ for a figure I mostly like the look of OR pay ~$50 for a figure I mostly like the look off.
>>5988558
Holy crap I've never heard of that happening in recent history!
>>5989034
>Carnifex's limbs and altmodes don't look anything like IDW.
I was wondering about this, since I know nothing about IDW. Carnifex's robot mode looks great, imo, but considering how little the vehicles need to do to form the robot, I'm disappointed with how uninspiring the alt modes look. I figured maybe that's how they appeared in the comics, but I guess not?
>>5987786
Hmmm. The toy esthetic is a little...
It's like someone sat on them.
Scale
>>5989239
Tank
>>5989241
Tank is the weakest mode I think. Turret is static, no articulation. Back is kind of hallow. Feels more like half a tank than an actual vehicle.
>>5989247
Jet mode is pretty cool.
>>5989251
Cockpit opens, landing gear has rolling wheels.
>>5989254
Super Jet is pretty cool.
>>5989257
How sturdy is the superjet mode? From Peaugh's video, it looks like it's only held on by a few tabs.
>>5989261
It is a few tabs. Its secure enough that its not going to fall off from must being handled, but i wouldn't go zooming it around.
>>5989279
>i wouldn't go zooming it around.
>>5989098
actually that is idw inspired too. you can tell by the larger protruding shoulders which in g1 were the powermaster port flaps, but mistakenly drawn as part of the shoulders by Roche.
>>5988887
Sorry for the late reply, looks like it should.
But with the price of Ginrai and then this, Thundercock Manus seems the winner personally.
>>5989596
not bad, maybe its the photo but he seems wider.

I have no reason to own him but damn I want that scary grinning bastard.

I haven't transformed him yet but so far he's really great.
>>5989935
Could we get a height comparison there with Carnifex, FP Rodimus and Whirl?

Thanks, m8. I had so much fun setting up that shot.

Nice shots Anon. Always love seeing people post pics.
Can't say I was all that interested in Carnifex when I watched reviews, but these photos are making me regret being a poorfag.
>>5990926
He's so fun. One of the most animate and expressive figures I own. He's as big as feral rex but poses more like a good action figure.
>>5990979
Combiners always are a bit weird to work with, the downside of them being 5-6 different figures that have to work on their own with their own alt modes, and then need to work together as some gestalt monster. Meanwhile Overlord there is one guy who splits into two vehicles and designed as such.
So my Carnifex's closed mouth face has some crap paint. Sent MMC a message on their product support page asking if there was any way I could get a replacement.
What are my chances guys?
>>5991504
100%. They'll send you a new head it might take a while to show up though.
Carnifex is awesome but if I could make one change I'd give him the cylindrical top of the thighs he has on every other toy and the comic.
spreem warfare
The addon kit for Apollo is awesome.

I really whish it was like 15-20 dollars cheaper and didn't include the bust. It just seems like a waste. Looks great though.

Between them and Fanstoy's backlog it will be a race to who releases before the heat death of the universe.

>Horrible botmode
>>5991894
Its takes Giga a year or more to get one figure out. FT managed to get three out this year. Maybe they can squeeze Grimlock or Galvatron out in the next two months but, I'm not holding my breath.

Yeeeaaaaah was totally not expecting the updated windblade sword. nice touch
sorry if im late to the party, i havent been keeping track of her release
>>5988269
That's ugly as fuck, even the original hasbrah version is better
Alrighty, Questions, where is the best place to get a complete Unique toys war lord for best price?
how about other non classic combiners? (computron, abominus, piranachon, possibly a bruticus?)
>>5992668
TFsource has the full Maketoys Not-Computron set for about $300 right now.
>>5992639
It's pretty ugly, yeah, though the Hasbro/Takara cabs didn't transform.
>>5993024
How do people like Not-Computron? I like the look of it, picked up Feral Rex recently and I am super duper pleased with it. I'm wondering if the discounts on multiple sites for Computron has a reason I'm unaware of.
>>5993174
I personally really like it. His combined mode looks anorexic when you turn him sideways but from the front he is astounding. Even his individual bots are all great in and out of alt-mode.
Except Not-Lightspeed. His knees are weird.
Also Nosecone can be a bit fiddly to transform.
>>5993174
Most people think he looks like shit, which is why he ends up discounted all the time.
Just got KFC Not-Victory Leo (Simba).
Fucking love this thing. It feels 10 times sturdier than MP Star Saber.
Only issues I have with it is there's not much head poseability in robot mode. Otherwise, this is solid.
>>5993198
Still waiting on TFsource to get theirs.
When it comes in they'll be shipping both that and MP Star Saber
>>5993222
Wait, never mind.
Just got the email saying they are instock.
Now just need to wait for them to ship it.
>>5993198
I've been wanting to get one and I've been seeing postings of it for $135 Canadian on ebay. Should I get it or that would be probably a broken stock or something?
>>5993174
I love him. He's a really solid combiner, and I dig all the individual members. The only issue I have with him, as others have said, is that he's kinda thin from the back.
BEHOLD, OVERCOCK
