Their Hellboy stuff was pretty much universally praised from the first images, so they've had start-to-finish hype and delivery before back in the day. Hoping for some better (less gummy) figures this time around. I don't feel like the looks are different enough to buy duplicate movie figures but I definitely want a redo on Rocket, hopefully we get different heads/better body/weapon and little Groot included. Wait, just checked, and yeah it looks like the True Heroes do indeed have an UZI. Take note that the TH figures are 3 3/4" tall, so the guns are pretty much spot-on suitable for 1/12 and slightly larger NECA figures.

It looks fine. Texture isn't necessary for a character like DP especially given how Hasbro figures have very little texture to begin with. The head is in scale with a lot of 1/12 scale Japanese figures which unless you don't own any, you're not really doing yourself any favors buying a figure that won't even fit your collection stylistically and proportion/scale-wise.

Honestly I like it. It'll fit right in with my import collection especially with my other Revoltechs, just as well as my Hasbro DP is perfectly fit for my larger-scaled Hasbro Legends collection.

Still the muscly look on Revoltech's Deadpool doesn't really bother me especially given how his appearance in a lot of Kelly's run in which he looked ridiculously ripped in the artworks. If anything it actually gives off vibes of a modern Deadpool in retro styling.

At the very least, check out the first three trade paperback volumes of Runaways and it shows off all the characters (including Nico) really well.

It's some of the best stories that Marvel has put out and it basically covers the entire run by Brian K. Vaughn, which is the original writer of Runaways. It's just a shame though because Nico's ML design is based on her later appearance from Avengers Arena which is actually one of the worst (if not the worst) writing treatments she has ever gotten. While I'm happy with the Nico figure we got (or even the fact that she got one at all) I wish we could have gotten something closer to pic-related which was one of her predominant looks during BKV's run.

because that's always been solid, hasn't it? Like how Carnage got the Venom offspring which died in his first story, then some odd crap about how Cletus' blood had been mutated, then he has the actual symbiote again later on, then it gets stolen by Venom and eaten, only for Cletus to get an identical one in the Negative Zone. But Venom VS Carnage ignored that and it's the Venom offspring again. Don't forget how it's a "permanent bond" except for when it's not the multiple times he lost it.

I'll be honest, as a huge Venom fan, I didn't completely hate the retcon. Sure, them being basically green lantern rings that can be corrupted is dumb, but I like the idea of them not being evil. Something called a symbiote actually just being a parasite always seemed silly to me.

The first 6 issues aren't amazing or anything, and are definitely nowhere near as good as his original series, but I thought it was cool for Flash to be the big hero he always wanted to be, if only for a little while.
The 7th issue starts getting really good though, and it introduces Mania as a major plot point.
Thompson really did the best he could with what Bendis gave him, and it's painfully obvious from the last issue that he never really wanted to write about him in space, and just wanted to continue Agent Venom.

Goddamn, what a waste. It's like 10% of a fantastic figure, like they were laying out the foundations and then they had to abandon it. You can see how this could be a great figure with a unique arm, maybe a sculpted jacket or coat, and something going on below her tits beyond just flat spandex, but they just shit the bed. The holster and pistol don't even work particularly well.

Also, at least on mine, she can't stand up due to her knee joints being totally floppy and soft.

I never got the BAF because of how trash it looked and how cheap the torso felt. Also... why would I have both and if I did put them next to each other? Revoltech is taller than the 6 inch avengers, that's good enough for me. An 8 foot tall ultron was goofy anyway.

It's on a way better body articulation wise, comes with effects, and with a little modification you can reuse the hands from the white one. It's got some QC problems, but overall, yeah, it's miles better.

Y jointed hips yeah but that give us full splits unlike pizza mold.
