I'm looking for pictures of non-official Dark Souls figurines (in other words, statues), and maybe their prices. Can you help?
>inb4 statues aren't toys!
Neither are plushies, pop funkos, assembly kits and models.
Dump commencing
Then there's these absolutely wonderful things, which I would gladly pay out the ass for a properly painted and manufactured set.
Basically tho everything based on the first Dark Souls is a can never have garage kit. Search on MFC and you'll see most all of them. First 4 is releasing an Artorias next year if you want to pay $500 for that.

I cant help much but i remember seeing a thread a few weeks back about what looked like an official prototype of the Faraam armor

First 4 was also working on an Ornstein, but I have no idea what's happening with that. Haven't seen anything about it in a while.
Thank you kindly, yall. This is very helpful to my project.

You mean can never as in Bandai sends cease and desists around?

I've got a bunch of these I haven't painted or assembled yet.

What was the original pricing on the mouse units?

Can never have as in if you miss the preorder (should such a thing even exist for garage kits), it's going to be difficult to acquire it later. More difficult, anyway, than mass produced figures of most stripes.
I kind of doubt Namdai does C&D's over things like this. Lawsuits aren't as much of a thing in Japan and garage kits are just an established otaku subculture. What even would they gain from threatening some sculpting nerd who may produce as little as a few dozen of whatever he's making?
I'd like to think that Namdai and From would make money hand over fist by licensing figures and such from Dark Souls but I'm just not sure. We who love the game are passionate about it but if there's enough of us to sustain it, who knows. Going with First 4 to make $500 statues isn't my ideal scenario but that's what they did. Buying the upcoming Bloodborne figma would probably help them expand their horizons.

That's good. What I'm planning on doing is making small statues cast in resin of several characters and I was planning doing like editions of 20 or 30, but was super scared of they going shutting me down and demanding reparation.

If I were you I'd still follow the garage kit example and keep it on the dl. For fans, by a fan. Don't draw too much attention to it and you'd be fine
There is the minis line coming out soon by Steamforge.

The ones from the Kickstarter?

They're just board game pieces.
Although a tiny lil Kalameet is sort of funny

I'm not even sure I'll be able to sell them, I don't think I have the influence to grab Bandai and FS's eye, but so far I've only posted a few wip pics and I'm planning on making a thread on /ic/ to get some critiques.
If they ever find me and get annoyed I'll cry to them about being in a broken third world country with severe economical depression and I'm just trying to get some hoolla to leave.

Well lets see it

Well, ok.
So far there's 3 characters. On these two I still need to smooth, clean the surface then add texture and detail before taking molds.
All of them are about 11cm (4.3 inches). With the base 14,5cm (5.7 inches).
I hadn't seen the Mouse Unit figures before, so any similarities (Tarkus' pose) is a coincidence.
Black Iron Tarkus.
