i got the soldier of the lizard head today
it's pretty nice, a little basic, but i mean people who want a 1/6 kaiman are going to buy it anyways.
i really dislike the material they chose for the corrosion. it looks like ebisu threw up all over him and it dried. i'd have prefer painted effects.
my left ankle is a it loose so i'll probably try and fix it later. the body is a black 1/6

he has an angry and neutral expression that snap on with magnets. it's really well done
and the gas mask head
he's bigger than other 1/6, which is nice, since he's like 7'5" or something in the manga
well that's it. no open mouth function which is a shame because i was gonna pose him eating gyoza. still as the only 1/6 kaiman it's at least not a disappointment
The head looked nicer is promotional shots and I swear I remember seeing it able to open its mouth. Still looks alright though.
Just got shipping notice for mine.
Thanks for the pics op

Oh hey, it's thoat expensive robot that sentinel sabotaged! I was gonna get it if it ever went on heavy discount, guss i forgot about it. HHow muchdi you get it for?
Got mine today too. Only got to mess with it for a few minutes before I had to go back to work, but I do like the magnet to switch the expressions. I'm glad he's got some nice ratcheted joints, too, since the suit would probably render regular joints useless.
>>5966216
And I don't remember an open mouth that was shown, other than the decapitated head.
still waiting on mines, but wish he had a more expressions.
i honestly hope someone superimposes the head in jar head onto a neck joint to repaint. it's actually a great expression for him eating gyoza. i'd do it if i wasnt paranoid i'd fuck up my 200$ toy
>>5966210
Isn't 1/6 scale 12"?
>>5966564
1/6 is 1/6 scale. A 1/6 gundam wouldn't be 12 inches.
>>5966564
like i just said, kaiman is almost 8 feet tall. hes not going to be 12"
Some of the top spines were broken on the neutral head of mine, since apparently it was a good idea to shove the figure inside its packaging.
As far as I'm concerned, that's a PAK level error, as well as the fact the severed head not fitting into the jar as was shown.
Coupled with the really late release date so they could push out other more popular figures, I probably won't be ordering from Threezero again.
>>5966897
that's too bad, yeah i thought the packing could have been better. the spines should be repairable by plastic cement or just contact 3zero customer service. it's not fun to get something broken out of box, though
i did have one spine on my gasmask head broken, ill glue it later

Look up the definition of scale, man. When we say 1/6, that's a ratio--it means it's a sixth of the size the object would be in real life. In the toy world we generally take 1/12 to mean 6" and 1/6 to mean 12" because we are going off the generalized height of an average human as 6 feet tall. But obviously if a character is canonically taller or shorter than 6 feet, that'll be reflected in their figure as well.

Yeah, contact CS. ThreeA has always been snappy with fixing problems for me, and since Kim also owns ThreeZero, I would suspect they're good at it too.
This looks tempting, as I love the Dorohedoro designs, but I still feel like they made his body/boiler suit look really dumpy. I dunno, maybe he looks too gangly or his head is too small or something. I loved the look and proportions of this figure they released way back when, and wish this looked more like it. And yeah yeah, I know this is a totally different outfit, but my criticism still stands.
>>5966202
Hey OP, is there enough room in his boots to blouse em? I feel like I'd like that better.
>>5967002
eh, you'd be better off just tightening the straps. they're sneakers
Oh man, he's out? Super excited to get mine. I'm still kicking myself for not getting him from the shop when he was available. Wish i got the dead head.
Shame about the basic body, though. I would have loved to pose him shirtless like he was during the boxing match.
Found info for shin, could someone translate? https://instagram.com/p/BLQw21hl2Aw/

>>5966202
Hey OP were you able to fit his big knife sheath in the elastic on his hip? The promo shots do it but I can't get it to work
>>5970081
that one goes on his shoulder
if you mean the biggest one that goes under the backpack and you need to adjust it
>>5970081
>>5970564
oh wait i just saw where you meant.
>>5966202
I'm on the fence about buying this, but I've never bought from Threezero before so I didn't know what to expect.
>>5970754
ThreeZero and ThreeA have their issues from time to time, but the majority of their toys are very nicely made and stand up to posing and light play very well. I haven't heard any specific issues about Kaiman yet aside from some breakage on the spines, which I'm fairly sure their customer service will either replace or fix.
>>5970570
Yeah I know stores knife guess uber the pack but the second biggest didn't seem to fit anywhere
I had two broken spines on one of the faces - emailed 3Z and supposedly they're sending replacement spines. They said I can pull the broken ones out with pliers and put the new ones in myself.
>>5974955
Keepo in mind, it make take them a while to get it out to you. 3A and 3Zero have been swamped recently with emails. I asked for a replacement part in may-ish? they just mailed it out now.
>>5974964
Yeah, I figured it would take a while. Considering it's just a cosmetic thing, I'm in no big hurry.
