I watched some of it with my old roommates when it was coming out. Seemed pretty neat, but i wasn't too interested. Love the figure though, that thing can move like nobodies business.

Mouth aside (and boy do i love that mouth), it's an incredibly strong figure. One of the most articulated I have.

As for what i think is an underrated toy, the koto eva unit 1 is a great catch for anyone that can find one. They are comming out with a TV version too, so i'm gonna snag that too. Even unpainted, it still looks fine, and oh man can it pose with such grace. Few toys can match just how human it is. Only real issue with it is that some bits of it are super loose, mainly being the hands and the shoulder guards. I took those off those because they restrict the movement more than i'd like.

OP here. I have seen the show and despite the shitty animation. I really like it. It's actually why I bought the figure. Manga is better though since they had to censor some scenes in the show. Despite what Mr. Everything is a meme says the articulation on this thing is fantastic and doesn't take away from the sculpt. Medicos had to take design liberties since the creatures are technically incorporeal and did a great job. Now only if we can get an SAS Sato.

The shoulder armor parts. They are on in the picture, you can see where they are put out a bit over the arm, because they can't rotate with the arm.
