No "almost" about it. I got MP Bee from HLJ when it initially released. It cost $41, with about 23 for shipping. Never paid a "customs fee" whatever that is.

Speaking of bee, anyone else ever get any issues with paint rub on his chest logo?

It doesn't show up well on camera so I circled some of it, but little bits of red paint have come off over time. It's not like I give him breast massages or anything it just flaked off over time from holding him for flipping the panel around.

And I seriously doubt mine it's a KO issue considering I bought it on preorder from bbts.

At least it's not terribly noticeable except for up close and it would be easy enough to repaint if it ever got bad.

Do what I do, when you flip that panel, use the corner indents and avoid touching the logo, it will rub off if you keep thumbing it, even if you think your hands are bone dry natural oils and friction still works its way in

When I flip the panel I do it by poking a corner of it with his gun. When I touch the logo it's from doing it accidentally while picking him up, which I even try to avoid now.

And yeah, the paint on Bee isn't great. I've had a rather large bit of paint chip off just because of some dust under it. Thankfully it's yellow paint on yellow plastic and it hides in Robot mode. There's a ton of painted clear plastic on him and I dead to see any of that flake off.

People like him though, and he does alright in most cases.

I feel he's a little trapped though, he needs to work on mp designs more often so he can "spread his wings" and not be restricted with product limitations (well apart from the mp megatron story but that's time limitations).

Really? That's a pretty great price. Looks to be light on accessories, but the buster cannon and battle blade are all I want anyway. I've never owned this mold before, always wanted to, but could never settle on the right version for one reason or another, be it features, accessories, paint quality or price. This one ticks all the right boxes for me, and even has tinted windows, which it really needed, in my opinion. Is the mold worth it?

Chromedome has a pin from side to side, the cw mold just plastic pegs in the center, you'd have to drill the cw chest piece for the pin, it can be done, but not an easy swap.

About the clear plastic, I've never heard of any real issues with the toy. He's a deceptively huge toy and all the plastic on him is thick as hell, he would probably survive a being dropped down stairs with less damage than the stairs themselves.

The only one I have is Drift. He looks pretty cool but I didn't open it yet. The car mode looks like ass, though.

They're all pretty good. Not amazing or outstanding but good. Avoid a few though. Sideswipe has a fucked up design, grimlock has a risk of exploding elbows as well as just being a very boring mold, and the wolf guy isn't great.

Jazz is bland but nothing wrong with him. The rest are pretty solid and the articulation is pretty good. Nothing amazing but you get what's needed.

Just got Hot Rodimus. Pretty handsome, though his chrome is ALREADY chipping.

Okay, so I just tried to transform my ROTF Deluxe Skids. Man, this thing is complicated. I like that it is sort of a shellformer. It reminds me of Car Robots Speedbreaker and the BW Neo figures.

I love that face plate. Primal looked like a total badass the two times he closed his mouthplate in the show, I guess it's a mix of the thin eyes and long, clean and angular mask.

I have a metropass for classes, whereas the GO transit costs dozens of dollars haha. Aside from the occasional TFcons, I usually confine myself to Toronto proper.
