Hey, to each their own. I like how they look, desu. >>5951417 but yeah you nailed it. The whites in the eyes and the extra detailing like lines in the face, cheekbones, or dimples just seem uncanny in a way to me and Emmet and Benny I feel are a much nicer style of face. The hyper detailing I feel is best suited for fleshie heads but I just prefer the simpler cutesy look of classic on the yellow heads.

What about the alternates (not the ship, obviously)?

Like most languages that have seizure spelling, once you learn the pronunciation rules and alphabet/language specific letters, it's much easier than it looks, especially if you know a lot of synonyms in english. Also, a trick my Humanities teacher taught me: master the 100 most common words in a language and the rest will be much easier.

I mean, aside from the poorly scribbled shaprie writing on the front end, it looks nice enough. Considering how utterly trash most custom painted lego builds are, this one is surprisingly not bad. Obviously it's not perfect, the paint seems too thick in some places, but it's certainly not the worst paint job in the world. Though I suppose if you're an autistic trainfag you'd probably get triggered just on the principle of defacing a train.

>>
>>5953370

How did you know
>>
>>5953230
LEGO truly fucked up on this one.

I mean, it's nice that they show that they're considering bigger sets. But this has over 2000 pieces, okay say that LEGO removes like 800 pieces it's still gonna retail for like 120 bucks - I don't see many people buying this. It's just a random fishing house.
>>
>>5953444
People buy modulars, though. And this looks way better than most of the modulars.
>>
>>5952794
That looks good, anon. I have been waiting and waiting for my wife to finally build the CCBS one we got.
>>
>>5953444

keep in mind that LEGO typically shaves off parts down to a more reasonable piece count before releasing ideas sets

also what that other anon said, about modulars. people buy that all the time and they have a very long shelf life because of their popularity
>>
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhbliUq0_r4

I know it's old, but your honest opinion on this?
>>
>>5953254
>Why do people hate these?

Because they're ugly, too big to look decent as pistols, and tracking down studs is enough of a pain in the ass that actually using the play feature isn't worth it.

>>

>>
>>5955518

You upload your MOC to Lego Ideas-website. You have to gain 10000 supporters for it in a year. It then goes to a review with around 10 other builds, and zero to two of those will be chosen as official builds.

And as for reverse engineering, you could ask the original designer, but it's not very likely

I bought some short articulated minifig legs from Brick Fortress; here's a little review.

They fit minifig torsos okay, not so tight I'm worried about splitting the torso sides. The actual leg pieces can be swapped with Lego ones. I was going to try using one for some kind of cyborg peg leg but it wouldn't work, the height difference is around 1 1/2 plates.

They seem to use the same plastic, color matching is spot on, the minifigs are a little more difficult to pose and balance but that's to be expected. Quality is 9/10 Lego.

My only complaints are, there are pretty prominent sprue marks or whatever they're called, and the holes in back of the legs are VERY tight.

The six-wide round plate has a turntable snap on the bottom. Then you've just got four single-wide jumpers.

The round pillars let the corners slip by - those or the log bricks (30136) are the only things I could find that worked without catching.

what's the point of attaching a brand to a construction vehicle? does the name convince more people to buy the set? does it convince people to buy the actual vehicle?

You could pose the question of brand attachment to any of the many licenced themes that are discussed here, but in this case I think it just adds a little extra "oh cool it's based on a real thing" aspect.

To answer the last two questions from my own perspective, no and no. It's a good value Power Functions parts pack and also includes some wheels and other things that I don't have.

OK, /lg/ I got a bit of a problem.

I ordered a Luke Cage figure, the old one from the spiderman helicopter set, and im not a fan of his head.

I figured there would be a good replacement but theres like maybe 20 different official black male heads made by lego. Sadly the closest one to netflix cage would be Nick Furys face, except for the damned eyepatch.

Anyone got any ideas? I definitely have NO problems with chink made or third party customs. Any help would be much appreciated.

4 microfighters will come atleast with 2 Rebel pilots, one with a tie fighter pilot and one with a imperial officer.
There will also be an rogue one imperial battlepack with Stormtroopers and Deathtroopers.
