Maybe the Japanese are big fans of his? Personally I just think with these "new age" releases Bandai is trying to ease people into buying renewals by making different characters with similar designs first and reintroducing the related renewal later.

I always thought Mr. Satan was a dumb ass name though. They could have rearranged the letters to make an anagram like they did with Videl, but being Mr. Satan is just beyond random. The one thing I like about the Mr. satan thing is that it continues the theme of Gohan and demonic themed characters. He's the grandson of the Ox King( who wears a horned helmet and who's home was a fiery mountain for a while), He's trained by Piccolo(the Demon King), has his spotlight taken by Mr. Satan, married his daughter Videl(Mr. Satan) and has a daughter named Pan(a bread joke, but also sharing her name with the satyr character, similar looking to portrayals of the devil). Otherwise it is a silly name, and honestly I think the "devil" theme in regards to Gohan is probably just me noticing a pattern than intentional.

This is a serious tragedy. Gotenks is one of the most iconic Buu saga characters and he's been pushed aside for noncanon schlock and shitters like Yamcha/Tier.

The problem with Gotenks is that, while he's a good fighter (and I actually really like the character), he's too arrogant and childish for his own good. He COULD have beaten Super Buu in like 10 minutes had he just gone SSJ3 from jump and gave it 100%, but he chose to drag shit out, underestimate Buu, and just be a complete goofball during the whole fight.

I really hope he gets more screen time with the next Super Arc. Maybe is Goten and Trunks become teenagers or something Gotenks will actually be SORT of mature during a fight. I get that his immaturity is an integral part of his character (and part of the reason why I like him), but sometimes he just goes overboard with it to the point where it costs him victories.

Bandai is one of the laziest/cheapest import companies out there. People are enamored by their stellar releases to the point of ignoring all the schlock and shortcuts they take with most stuff.

For instance...SHF Vegetto's kamehameha charging hands are RE-USED GOKU HANDS painted white with VISIBLE NAIL SCULPT. As a result they don't match the other gloved hands which are new sculpts nor do they match the gloves attached to his lower arms. Lazy bullshit but most people missed that while bitching about them re-using the body mold.

I'm getting pretty tired of their BS to be honest. Removing accessories from Perfect Color Trunks was uncalled for as well.

Its nice to know that we can finally get crossed arms on characters again but that it must cost a lot of money for such a generous accessory.
