That tiny little bastard has at least 2 DOF in the head, one in each shoulder(unless they were super cheap and slaved the shoulders to one motor) and at least something either in the knees or in the butt to make him move. Granted, the programming and probably the Kirobo licensing (Last I remember, Robot Garage's works are pretty popular in Japan) appears to be their excuse for why it costs so much.
