The left thigh peg is malformed and falls right out ;_;

And some of the joints are a little loose.

Wut do
>>
>>5947987
From where did you get her? Maybe you can email the seller for a replacement, and the loose joints can be fixed with a little of nail polish or pledge (this is something that manny people here recomend)
>>
>>5948017
It was taobao through a middleman :|

After checking the other leg and trying to fix it with tape I don't think any of that stuff will do. The shape is off in a way that the thigh pops out a little. I'm going to try remaking the joint with a 3mm nylock nut and a 3mm set screw.

Man this thing was a nightmare to fix.

I cut off the peg and drilled a hole in the leg to replace it with a screw and nylock nut, but no adhesive could hold a metal on plastic torsional force so nothing I tried worked. Eventually I superglued the peg I cut off back into the socket and then drilled a hole into it and combined the thigh and leg with a set screw.

The material was so soft it would barely drill and in the end it came out crooked, which is driving me insane. Somehow I improved it a little by widening the holes and using electrical tape to make them tight.

At least it doesn't pop out constantly and can stand on its own. Though I think I'm getting a little sick from breathing PVC dust.

I really wish these had better quality control, but as much as I love nazi fembots I kinda regret getting this considering it was nearly $80 after shipping and all.

This is one of those things where you're REALLY better off just sucking up the extra cost of buying off a (your country here) site with a good return policy in case you get a bum copy.

Someone have mentioned this in other thread IIRC, but IDK if there any truth on this or is something made up, I see that the Coreplay figures have a similar look to the ones that OE have done, maybe Coreplay have been founded by some people that have work in OE.
Something that is helping to believe this is that the OE facebook page haven't been updated in more that a year and the the OE site is down. but if that were the case that OE is dead, who was in charge of producing and making all the MoMos that we have got in the latest months?

I had that same problem with that same momo. My legs fell off at the thigh like there was nothing holding them in. I tried a bunch of stuff for friction, but in the end, the only solution was to pry the little socket caps out of the leg hole, screw them onto the thigh peg, then epoxy the socket cap back into the leg hole. The legs are no longer interchangeable, but after this fiasco I no longer want another momo so it doesn't matter.

There seems to be every indication that they're definitely out of business. So I don't know how these things are coming out.

Yeah, It seems like so, the guys on futaba have a thread now about the Coreplay figures, where (as far as I understand using a web translator) they have said the same, Original Effect is now out of business, which is a pity, because the MoMo figs have a stylish design and had potential, there have been some QC error in some of the figs, but now this line have entered 'Busou Shiki' territory; sad part is that it seems like we won't be getting the other cools MoMo designs afterall.

Because they did that stupid shit of putting out the most pedestrian figures first. Well, maybe given the QC control issues it was for the best. But it's like with a lot of action figure lines. "Hey, we're doing a new X-Men series! Our first three waves will have 15 variants of Wolverine, and a Magneto. But Wave 4 will have all the characters you want! Oops! Nobody bought the first two waves, time to cancel the line!"
>>
>>5966508
They were very clear on Facebook that this is NOT related to any licensed properties. Any appearance otherwise is totally coincidental.
>>
>>5966554

This, but the last wave at least have the first Monstrous types (the two cats and the bee)
Now who will make more MoMos?

You can see the center Orca-type's got eyes. My guess is the artist was trying to go for the look that MoMos tend to have where their hair obscures their eyes, but at the same time they were trying to make their faces look more visibly human.

Just 1 pic cause I don't have time to pose stuff.

Some observations:
The shoulder joints, and maybe the elbows and wrists seem like the parts most likely to break. You need to be careful and know which way the joints are facing if you don't want to risk bending them the wrong way.
Her knees, shoulders and feet are double jointed so the articulation is pretty good. Her left shoulder was a bit loose for me, everything else seemed alright tightness-wise. I thought the standing would be weird due to how curved her legs are, but the flexibility in the feet makes up for it.
The arms, kneecaps and feet can pop out. Scared the crap out of me when they did cause I thought I borke something, but they slid back in like nothing happened.
Looks nice, molding could be a bit better, but can't complain. I'm glad I bought it.
