So, what's the difference between the SG and DX signal bikes? I got a Mach Driver super cheap because it's used and the bike was missing and I'm looking to find the bike on its own. I found some of the SG bikes and they seem to be cheaper than the DX bikes for some reason.

I don't think there was any real difference between them with the Shift Cars or anything, so sounds like it was a good find.

DX is usually the highest tier for quality, while and Gashapon kinda trade places between middle and lower tier depending on the show.

The Shift Cars had a different ratchet mechanism. DX has a nice springy thing that's easy to flip one-handed like Shinnosuke does in the show, while the Gash/Candy had an annoying 8-way ratchet. For the Signal Bikes the only difference will be a matte sticker rather than a shiny one.

Nope, Sengoku Driver has plenty of sounds in the driver itself. The standby music is actually different based on whichever faceplate you have installed; it pushes down different combinations of buttons behind it.

For what it's worth, HLJ have been fine with Zyuohger stuff all year for me, and Shakariki Sports was hassle free too. It's only the Gamer Driver that they messed me around with. LuckilyI managed to get one of those on Amiami at the same time I pre-ordered the Bugvisor from them.

That's probably how the gimmick toys will work, but I don't think the Figuarts will go that far. Though who knows, with Shakariki it looks like it'd just be a matter of swapping the heads, chest and maybe shoulder pads, and that might be part of an accessory set with other level 3s later on.

Wrist stuff actually tends to be relatively well sized compared to the other weapons, since they still need to fit on someone's wrist and technically aren't meant for slapping younger siblings with when playing, so the bugvisor should be relatively fine.

Well boys, looks like they are making gashapon gashat that work with the DX Gamer Driver. So far for December: Mighty Action X and Taddle Quest normal and metallic; January: Bang Bang Shooting and ??? normal and metallic. All for 500 yen each.

Drawback being that they're only sound based. Might be like lockseeds later on where they added lights as super rare. Still wondering how they'll chop it to fit in the gashapon balls.

Hi, I was wondering if maybe one of you guys might be able to help me.

I just bought my first Figuarts ever, Kamen Rider 1 (Sakurajima version). To be honest, this is my first purchase of any figure, excluding toys I had as a kid. I really want to use some of the other hands but I'm worried about breaking the wrist joint. It doesn't seem to want to come off. Do you have any advice on how to take it off without ruining the figure? Thanks. I hope this isn't breaking any form of /toy/ etiquette that I'm unaware of.

Hi, it's better that you've asked first before trying anything further.

Heat up the plastic (hot water, hair dryer, etc), and pull it off. It should be much easier as the hands have softened, just make sure you don't get them up too much (in the case that you're using a hair dryer).

Try popping it off and putting it on again as it's warm so you can expand the hole a bit. Alternatively, buy high grit sandpaper and sand down the ballpeg a bit so it isn't as tight.

No worries, generally /toy/ is alright with helping out newbies (it's the tourists from /v/, /a/ and /tv/ that don't).

Anyway's the hands are made so that they're meant to simply pop off, but that said the Ichigo ones were always a bit tight. If you're that concerned about it then usually just a hair dryer aimed only at the hand or dipping it in warm water (not boiling, just warm) should loosen up the plastic enough to make it come off easier.

When taking off the hand always pull directly out in the direction of the socket, not twisting it or pulling it to one side, because that could snap or bend it. Generally though while it may be a bit tough the hands are meant to be interchangeable so it'd take quite a bit to actually break the joint.

I understand the fear, but I have never broken a joint. I can tell you are a big sissy though, so I recommend this method:
1. line the hand up so the hand is pointed straight so that the ball it's connected to is sticking straight out.
2. pull the hand straight off the joint parallel with the arm. no twisting.
3. to replace, make sure the ball is pointed straight out from the wrist, and push the replacement hand on straight, parallel with the arm. sometimes you have to push pretty good, and they will want to go sideways if you aren't being manly about it.

The nuggets are pretty neat, they're actually a pretty nice size and similar to the show. The only other foodroid i have is Burgermeal, and he's fantastic too, and someday i'd probably like to pick up the rest of the foodroids but right now i've no place to even put them.

Switch wise i only have the ones that came with the foodroids, two Meteors, Meteor Storm, Rocket and Scissors. I'm honestly not that interested in getting the switches except maybe Fusion and Cosmic.

Got around to opening the gamer driver and holder I got from HLJ. I didn't expect it to be so big, considering how much they shrunk the ghost and drive driver.

Only criticism is that the awkward direction of the Gashat's speaker when in the driver muffles the sound quite a bit and even more so when two Gashats are in. They really should have had the speakers face the front of the driver when inserted.

Also if you know your Akibaranger, they actually tackled why MMPR is popular in Japan. It is more popular and iconic to them than the Sentai version because Japan actually loved the Japanese dub of MMPR.
