Not counting the Alien figs since they were made off of original prototypes, it's very refreshing to see an original property out of these guys. I think they look pretty cool, like a mix of Johnny Quest and Scooby Doo villians. Would love to see more of this kind of creativity and less ebin normie shit that just winds up being 3 or 4 normal people in clothes all with the same shit sculpting.
>muh 80s nostalgia figures
>not shit in any way

Huh. I actually really like these. Especially the skeleton and vampire bat.
truth in marketing?
The gold skeleton guy looks familiar, like he's based on some other toy I've seen in particular. Regardless, these things get a resounding meh.
Card art is boss
Super7 does a lot of cool stuff. I wouldn't really lump these in with Funko/ReAction figures
Only if they're 10 bucks each. Not paying toy hipster prices for these things.
>>5941297
>I wouldn't really lump these in with Funko/ReAction figures
Why? They're the same thing made by a different company for some reason. It's like saying that you wouldn't lump dorbz and pops together.
>>5941211
>You're not convincing anyone with any sliver of taste otherwise.
>implying that the posters 'round here that collect flavor of the month anime garbage even qualify
IMO The Worst are actually really well made. The artwork and creativity that went into these is impressive.

>buys toys
>for the artwork

No thank you. At least with glyos you can part swap

I reaaly like this
Probable will get this skelly
That wolf wizard looks cool too
>>5941311
>Why? They're the same thing made by a different company for some reason
Because ReAction is a Super7/Funko thing done with whatever Funko can license while these are more in line with what Super7 has always done with original creations. It's kinda obvious if you have the slightest idea of what's going on with these and ReAction. Super7 would be doing these if Funko never existed.

Came here to post this
Carded shit...
Line name says it all. Its like they are laughing at you if you buy these.
>>5941325
That was THE reason to buy toys back in the day. That's probably the thing I miss most in all my pricey modern figures I buy now. The last toy I bought with really cool package art was Sentinel Dancouga.
>>5941458
Just because you've been autistic all of your life does not mean that..
You know what?
Forget it.
One day you'll die and the toy world will be better off.
>>5941464
I didn't say I still buy toys for the package art now. Its just a thing I miss. I don't think it justifies these toys being what they are, because much better style retro toys had cool package art(GI Joe, for example) , but most people who buy these probably aren't buying them to open them.
>>5941471
Okay, I take it back then.
Whoever actually buys this shit, it can apply to you instead.
>>5941370
I still don't see why I can't just lump them in together after you admitted they're the same thing except one uses original IPs. They're both shitty nostalgia bait that is useless for anything other than wallhanging still in their box.
>>5941483
>you admitted they're the same thing except one uses original IPs
Only they didn't. Everything with 5poa is not the same thing. They do plenty of vinyl toys, doesn't mean you'd group them with pops
>>5941156
The irony
This has to be tongue in cheek
>>5941456
The Sucklord has made an art of doing that.
>>5941326
>>5941448
These and Glyos aren't even comparable except that they are both fun and original IPs. You can easily shit on one for the same reason as the other, or praise them both equally.
For fans of The Worst, of which i am one, know this: The average pleb can't be expected to understand or appreciate high art, let alone low-brow art. These are the same vanilla beans who haven't moved on from Led Zeppelin and wear Scarface t-shirts. These are not great forward thinking men you are arguing with but rather the Trumps of /toy/ and soon their wigs will blow off to reveal their special little barcodes.
>>5941932
>this is what delusional faggots willing to buy this garbage believe
oh boy
Top level shills in this thread.
Those toys are hipster shit with zero creativity.
>>5941156
I actually kinda like it. I don't know if I'll ever buy them but I can get behind the card art and originality. It's the just figures themselves aren't my thing, if they had a more unique style or better articulation I'd probably pull the trigger.
>>5941441
>Heres your reply
You did replied to my comment, thought.
Now go and whine about "90s kids" on your tumblr, filthy child. :^)

>some LAME fucking robot
>>5942749
Damn son, either youre baiting me really hard, or you actually are an idiot. Im really not sure which though.
Fuck, these look awesome but I really don't want to buy them. I know I'll just mess around with them for a couple of hours and throw them in a box and barely ever touch them again, I'll keep the packaging because it looks cool, tell myself I'll sell them someday if I don't love them anymore, but really I won't, even though a week later I'll forget they exist. But they just look so fucking cool and I've already added them to my cart three times. Convince me not to buy these /toy/ help me out fuck
>>5941156
I like that Wat Tambor looking motherfucker
>>5945178
They're sold out
You're welcome :)
>>5941297
From the thumbnail I thought he was doing the finger to mouth shush for whatever reason.
>>5945192
they're not though faggot
>>5941156
I like these designs but I don't know that I'd buy 4 or 5 POA figures, no matter how fun they look.
