And here it is from the back.
Also, as a bonus, the bookcase up against the stairs actually hinges outward, leaving a secret closet under the stairs.
I'll have this next to my Detective modular, so this will help spread the bootlegging story to my custom build.
Whatcha think?

Come on anon, we all know you're abile ti mod the cabin so that the minifig can stay inside.

We believe in you anon!
>>
>>5934583
>mod the cabin so that the minifig can stay inside
on the other hand, it's all technic panels

So if you want to move one 1 brick up you probably have to redo the entire cabin framework which throws off the crane balance/alignment and now the flux capacitor has to have its polarity reversed, might as well just get instructions for B model

DOES that thing have a B model?
>>
>>5934570
Yeah, meant to say 'another one'. I only started collecting CMF starting with 16, but to me the spooky line looks best out of every CMF yet.
Except Bananaguy. BG is god.

Try Bricklink and Amazon? I found a single Zombie Cheerleader for an okay price and bought five of the bags on (german) Amazon. QT should come this week, bags next.

Looks like it's supposed to go with the A model to make a full playset, and then take added PF parts, man technic is expensive.

I built a 6-wheeled car once and 4 of the wheels were steerable, I was so proud of myself it hurt.

1. In instructions it's placed good- the front stud is turned left.

How does one properly attach these to the rest of a chassis, as far as I can tell I won't be able to attach shock absorbers without them being half pushed in on either side. I think it's fine to leave them as is as long as the steering uses shocks to keep the model upright?

>>
>>5934475
Nice use of those large pieces and how they line up with the beds of those hovertrucks.
Building neat vehicles is one thing, but putting them in a natural and grounded habitat really makes builds come to life.

>>5934488
>>5934498
Never change 4chan.

>>5935556
They give context and life to my builds, make them more human. I also really like building in one consistent scale, basing those around one set of humanoid measurements helps.

>>5934602
I think environments are usually "comfier" than vehicles and robots and stuff.
While building streets are nice, i tend to keep the scale of those a bit smaller than is actually realistic. Mostly to keep the partscount and size down.
With small interior dioramas i build as detailed/realistic scale as i want making for the most "comfy" environments in my opinion.

I recently made some pics after rebuilding mine (mostly structural stability stuff and small tweaks) But i can't find the photos now.
I also tried to make a humorous comic, but found out i'm absolutely horrible at those.

Anyone know about some info about how you make a progression of frames that doesn't look too repetitive and boring? I think the main problem i have is that my diorama's have only two walls, causing me to only have like 90 degrees of camera movement until the room "runs out" and make the perspective look too samey.

I could just make a second diorama of the same size that can be used for "the other side of the room", but then you'll just have the 90degree camerangle limit doubled.

I could go full modular and make all the walls connect by just technic pins, but i'm not sure if that is stable enough to play around with.

>>5935838
>haunted post office, ghostly garbage truck

How long do you guys keep a set together before it gets torn apart to find new life?
>>
>>5935878
I just took apart Rey's Popsicle this week. I got it last December.

I think that's the longest a set has ever stayed together.
>>
>>5935878
Depends on the set.
Ones with lots of useful parts like the mixels don't last long, but if I like the set like the Exo-Suit it stays together for a long time.
>>
>>5935878
It depends on the set - stuff I like might stay together for a couple months, others might be taken apart in less than a week.
>>
>>5935840
>You know how Big Ben Bricks exist?
No, I don't.
>>
>>5935878

Depends on if I like the model for its [soilarz]playability[/soilarz] or if I just wanted a parts pack and built it out of courtesy, e.g. my Arocs is still together with various mods added over the course of about two months, but I took the Crawler Crane to bits the very next day.

Hey /lg/ I have a question for ya
I started using legos for D&D campaigns allowing players to mix and match various minifig parts to make their characters, at the same time I wanted to start making the dungeons out of legos and go all out with it
Best I have figured is using 4x4 grey and black patterns for the floor, sometimes changing depending on the room
But I was wondering what lego sets countain the best pieces to use to decorate/ construct dungeons? Harry Potter and LOTR I figured are good ones but any currently widely available ones?

He put all the toys and books and stuff into a box and gave the box away. I think he took the clothes to goodwill or something.

I was mostly upset about the yearbooks and prints, the other stuff could've been replaced and some of the clothes didn't fit as well any more.

I don't understand what possessed him to just give away everything I own. Basically anything will remove the prints if you are committed enough. I'd recommend brasso for indiscriminate print removal. Maybe you should try out whatever you decide to use before you get that agent.

Probably AT-ST, because it's the best bang for the buck from a price/parts standpoint. Either that or the U-Wing. Of the 5 "normal" R1 sets, Krennic's Shuttle and the tank will probably wait until after I've actually seen the movie to avoid another Kylo Ren's Shuttle/FO Snowspeeder situation.

I'm sure you know about bricklink. It can be hit and miss for mint, but I haven't had any issues. As for your USA adventure, I'd recommend stopping at every single walmart you can. Every walmart manages its clearance differently, so you might get lucky at one of them. The other thing to remember is that if you don't like the price, it might get reduced more as time goes on. You never know what they will have discounted is the downside. Basically my tip for getting deals is be vigilant.

Oh man. Sorry to hear about your geological challenges. It might be worth it to rent a post office box for the month if you can. That way you can get stuff sent there before you arrive. I actually live near Orlando. I can tell you that Lego stuff is not discounted heavily close to Orlando. Legoland Florida is like 60 mins south if you have the time. You can get an annual pass for $99 and it gets you 10% off dining and retail. Considering that buying a one day ticket is just about the same price, you might as well do it. You need to make time for the Lego store in Disney Springs no matter what. Its got some neat sculpture/builds around it.

Pic related. A really nice /lg/uy sent me a ticket so I could go visit Legoland

I have always ended up moving before I run out of space. My decision to take the sets apart was for moving them, but it worked out because it freed up all the space on the new shelfs.

>>5939224
Roy's our boy, but I did know Jang makes knife reviews. I believe he also reviews play-mobile and video games.

Then it turns into 'I've got a big pile of Lego sorted by category, and a bunch of builds on display that get changed out whenever I feel like breaking something down or building something else.'

i hope against all hope it's a remake of pic related, but "the ultimate modular building" sounds like it's a minecraft-style set where you can swap all the modules around in various configurations; probably a bunch of buildings around a square since it's called assembly square.

is the launch date january 4th or april 1st? if it's the latter, is this just an april's fool?

It's pretty decent, but now that I've seen how Lego did the latest Vader's TIE Fighter I really ought to re-design the wings and connections. Currently they're way too brittle.

You're going to be told Jang. He's fine.
I don't mind watching JAYSTEPHER's videos. He never seems to have stuff out first, but he does do a fair amount of custom stuff.

My final recommendation is to go find kids doing Lego reviews. I think they are pretty fun to watch. Just nothing goes right and they keep going anyways. I'm sure they are more grateful for your views than the big guys. Like this guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTafEmZJVUI

Which set should I buy for Force Friday (need that Revan):

Naboo Starfighter
or
Battle on Takodana

They're the same price, but I'm not sure if the coolness of having Kylo makes up for buying a Maz Kanata, or beats out Padawan Kenobi and Naboo fighter.

Or should I get the TIE Striker? Is 10 bucks more worth it?

Also fucking awesome technic build. Which is it?
>>

Looks like a portable speaker/powerbank thing they came out with. Used to get them free when you bought their kind-of-shitty-ass-definitely-overpriced-smartphone. Nice sound out of it, and a massive battery inside.

This reminds me, there was a disturbing lack of walker vehicles in the force awakens.
>>
>>5940208
so you find the lack of walking vehicles in TFA....disturbing
I don't remember even one!
>>
>>5940232
Considering how few original ship designs there were, they'll probably introduce something that can have a variable amount of legs for variable payloads for episode 8 so they don't have to have both an AT-AT and AT-ST separately.
>>
>>5940234
next is AT-LT
the L stands for motherfucker
>>
>>5940232
>>5940234
I'm expecting but hoping against them implementing walkers in episode 8 (like how episode 7 was literally episode 4), but not sure considering they used "snow planet" and "forest people planet" for VII. Maybe they'll get creative and have walkers on a different kind of planet. Multi-legged, single-legged, no-legged...
>>
>>5940198

If that was a sentient creature it'd be trying to gnaw its own limbs off
>>
>>5940198
something something surpass metal gear
>>
>>5940242
>single-legged
I'd love to see a hopping giant one legged robot! that should be fun
I heard 8 will be much more interesting and darker and original.
JJ must have heard the people, he oughta know by now we don't want another Empire or Jedi, the homeage was don,e it was good, but now we need new stories.

There was one seen in a background shot during the Nazi rally.

Looks like an AT-AT with the body replaced by a bigger gun.
