Honestly Zoids would be a better fit for a Bay-esque Hollywood adaptation than Transformers. Chaotic Century and Guardian Force were pretty serious business military stuff at times, and Zoids as a design always threw their weight around more with greater detail density. It would actually be pretty cool if someone competent wrote the script.

Honestly I think I could have enjoyed assault, a zoids fire emblem sounds like it could be pretty good. Certainly a step up from their usual turn based tradional rpgs they like making.

What really killed me with assault was mostly the fact it was so damn limited in unit variety.

that's not really the way you're supposed to be looking at it, all the universes that have been listed have some sort of connection with Transformers, even if some like Zoids it's mostly through them both being part of Takara-Tomy in Japan(and similarly how Hasbro is Zoids distributor in the US, even if they haven't done anything with the franchise in about a decade)

pretty sure it's not a promo for the contest, pretty sure the contest is a hype awareness building FOR whatever this promo image is teasing. According to some rough auto translators it seems that the contest involves sharing the teaser site for a chance to win an upcoming Saber Tiger masterpeice model kit.

welp looks like the site got an update with two new images added at the bottom. Some high detail concept art. This is looking like either a game or a movie.

On one hand a game is rather unlikely to see an America release and I doubt it could ever be sufficiently fan trranslated. On the other hand a movie scares me because something like this would need a real big budget to be good and since we would have heardd something from the people who watch license sales like hawks, it would most likely be a low budget japanese made film.
