I have both and they each have their pros and cons. The figma's face design is based on Clamps manga while the S.H Figuarts face is based on the anime. for accessories, figma has the sealing wand, star wand, clow card and star card of the fly and giants wings for her sealing wand which you can put in her back, S.H. Figuarts has the sealing wand, blank clow card, large handkerchief with the clow reed magic circle design, backdrop of cloud with sakura petals and a clow book design box.

If you'll only buy the 1st op costume and can only only buy one then it will be up to you on what you prefer.

But if you'll want a complete line then go with the figma line since Bandai stopped at the 2nd op costume while Max Factory is still ongoing and planning atm to release best boy(girl) Syaoran(you'll need to buy him to so you can make figma Sakura happy!).

It's not as heavy as you might think; my figma Lucina can hold it in certain poses. But you'll definitely want a second stand to do anything dynamic with it. I use a Stage Act Combination.

This total QT just arrived today, I paid 28 bucks shipped from Amiami. Supposedly she was in "used" condition, but her package was sealed, she still had the plastic protectors and the accessories had never been opened. Yes you fucked up. I got mine for £65. Also she's a fantastic figure; one of the most solid Figmas I've ever handled.

Only negatives are:

>Wings are attached to the stand adaptor rather than her actual back (though this does allow for the attachment of the larger wings)

Hibiki is pretty great, she's got some of the best Ass Tech™ I've ever seen on a figma and has really good articulation.
The thrusters on her back fall off easily though which is mildly annoying but they haven't broken on me.

Tsubasa on the other hand is a lot more restricted than Hibiki due to her hair being a massive block of plastic, it really restricts her arm and head movement. That being said you can still pull off some decent poses and she can do just about anything shown in the animu.

I might be a bit biased because I adore the show but I'd highly recommend both of them, they just look great together.

As someone who owns almost every figure from those lines (Barring stuff like the kimono Nendos and uniform Figma which I may get), they each serve their own little purposes.

Figma for a standard non-stylized figure, Nendos for Chibi styled figures that look good in displays and Cu-Poche acting as a mix between the two.

Am a bit sad that Cu-Poche may never get to making Nagisa, Madokami and Homucifer but maybe with the new Madoka project, it might give them a good boot into making them.

Yeah, your best bet would be to go with the Figma stuff if you're wanting something like that in a 1:12 scale. If you want something bigger, the Medicom Real Action Heroes figures are done in a 1:6 scale and are basically upsized versions of their Figma counterparts, just with cloth clothing. The biggest are the Azone 1:3 figures, which look kinda odd to me but seem alright with some of them.

You can go either way with the Nendos and Cu-Poche really.

Nendos can look good in static displays but the lack of decent articulation limits that. They also can't stand on their own without having to use the included display stand. This is compensated with different interchangeable arms / legs.

Cu-Poches come with magnets in their feet, a magnetic display base and are about as articulated as a standard Figma. They can pose really well and have some pretty good weight distribution despite the larger heads, so they can accomplish stuff such as standing on one foot, though you would still need to use the magnets. They're even strong enough to have the figure stand upside down if stuck onto something magnetic.

All three lines utilize the same type of face swapping gimmick, so if you end up buying one line or are already familiar with it, you'll know exactly what to do.

If you are getting anything located in China it's 99.99% a bootleg. Other parts of east Asia usually are too (other than Japan). Mind you that's my experience in getting stuff off eBay. Use Mandarake, Amiami, and HLJ you'll be safe.

I found out after the fact that these Tamashii Buddies are firmly fixed to their rather large bases. Aside from forcibly yanking them off, is there a risk-light method for detaching these from the bases?
