Its nice that it comes with open hands for both regular EXE and Hub-Style but god damn its gonna feel kinda silly having extra hands I can't do anything with.

I'm happy we're at least getting something for Lan, even if I would've preferred a more happy-go-lucky look or better yet a fully-articulated figure. I would personally have rather had GutsPunch, a shield or Vulcan over HeroSword, but it's all good.

I would feel complete if they released a posable Bass and a Gospel extra set like this where you could pop the head off and stick it on Bass' arms for his signature attack, but I know that's unlikely as all hell.

I want get rid of my D-Arts Mega, but he doesn't seem to compare to Sentinel Mega in terms of articulation and quality (and price).

I just can't get into an X that will presumably be the same size as classic Mega Man. I wish they'd have gone for characters who could be 4 inches and maintain a general sense of scale. I'll probably just keep waiting for a reissue on the D-Arts X instead. At least we'll probably get good retools of the X2 and/or X3 armors out of Sentinel, even if I think those armors are ass ugly.

My Classic Series Mega Man showed up today. He's pretty great. I was worried about the visible metal pins, but there's only four of them that are prominently displayed on him and they're not actually that annoying in hand.

Really hope this line lasts long enough to get a Protoman at the very least.

man I find it kinda hard to collect mega man figures. it never seems like they do enough characters in sets, so everything you get is different scale.

with classic mega man I think i might be happy with the kotobukiya kits because you get rock/roll/blues in decent quality.
with x series the d-arts line of x/zero/vile is alright. vile without the ride armor is a downer though.

i almost want to go back and buy the rest of the old old mega man model kits i'm missing but it might be a mess to do now.

True. Thankfully Sentinel appears to be deliberately making these in the D-Arts/Figuarts scale, so hopefully we can at least avoid retreads of Vile, MMZ Zero, and the Ultimate Armor.

As for what could be retread, I can see Zero getting revisited with better hair for the X1-3 art style, and the new X used as the base for the First Armor as well as the second and third. I'm really hoping they prioritize the .EXE style changes before going down that path, though.

The stuff Jazwares made was inferior in quality to several other toylines on the shelf in that period. Mattel was producing the NT Warrior line at the same time with superior sculpting and paint application. Toybiz was still making Marvel Legends as well, and despite Hasbro's policy of holding back Star Wars engineering, that line was producing some decent molds. At best, Jazwares was 5 years behind its competition in quality.

D-Arts was based off of the Hayato Kaji artwork that was less like Inafune's chibi style and more trying to bridge the gap with the X-series which already was a year old when this new style rolled out with Mega Man 7.

Contact wherever you bought it from if you can't fix it (which shouldn't be Gentinel because that's Sentinel's web exclusive store; so maybe try Sentinel, or say HLJ if you bought from HLJ).

It might also be possible to fix putting a bit of super glue around the plug and hoping that gives enough friction to stick in.

I like it better, honestly. I owned the D-Arts and sold it because I was underwhelmed and something about the proportions just seemed too....lanky somehow. The slightly stumpier proportions of the 4 Inchnel seem more like the X I envision in my head. I like the matte coating better than the D-Arts' metallic too. That shit scratched like a motherfucker.

The only bad thing I have to say is that the bent knees are pretty ugly, but the D-Arts had hideous knees too so I suppose it evens out.

Some report loose joints but overall, surprisingly articulated and I dig the way the shoulders are done so you can have cross arm movement. The only real problem I have is with Dark Megaman with a loose left leg and I can't get his right arm piece to fully attach to the joint so it falls out if I try to bend it but I figured some issues would arise for releasing Megaman Exe that early versus the normal version.

People are having problems with characters being "in scale" miss that this isn't a 1/13 figure line, it's a line of figures at 4 inches.

I've done it to figmas, nendos, figuarts, hasbro, and I've never chipped paint because of it. If your concerned, test it on a small area or on a figure you don't care so much about.

That or just accept the figure as it is. Which is fine too.

Also I should mention that Ive had the future shine method not work with some issues but it's never damaged a figure.

Does anyone know why BigBad has their Mega Man booster bundle figures for $130? Normally the figures are $40 a piece and I thought some place had them for $80.

BBTS is one of those sites that marks their stock up beyond MSRP, but in this case I think it's because of the forced EMS shipping on Gentinel exclusives.

Or that's what they used to justify charging more, anyway. I ordered from Gentinel and it's costing me $105 after shipping. If they had to ship each set to their warehouse individually(which I doubt), that's a healthy $25 profit per figure.
