Yup. I'm mid thirties and these are right up my alley. The look is fantastic, but it's too much money for what they offer.

Very overpriced, but I still really want them. I've been reconsidering my preorders though, maybe not really feeling it. Though exclusive colors are way way nicer though.

It's a shame the line isn't more accessible; it has like all of my favorite things:

-mechs
-carbon containers
-transforming vehicles
-storage

Are the mini figures 2" or the robots?
Because that's a huge rip off, considering we can get shit like this for $40. More articulation for both the mech and minifigure. And almost large enough to be 1:18 scale.

Yeah they are making it real hard to army build at those prices. I understand that these are for older collectors who grew up with them as kids, but damn, its hard to justify the price. Especially as they haven't added any crazy engineering or paint jobs to warrant how expensive they are.

They should try to revive the line for new generation of kids to keep the prices down, and try to find a nice balance in the designs for collectors to buy out of nostalgia.

Just noticed that OP had a video and I'm now wondering if this is a Chinese toyline.

The pilots are all knockoff Halo dudes and the mecha are all awkward looking mechs and then at the end a generic looking Japanese superhero giant robot falls down.

Everything about it screams rip off central with poor designs that i'd expect from China.

The robots are 2", the minifigs are about the size of a titan returns titan master. These things are really small.

Funnily enough I ordered these entirely randomly with no knowledge of the source.
Probably pass them off to a younger sibling will will enjoy new toys if they are disappointing as fuck.

But tell me, I'm a tf fan, I know diaclone is the reason tf exist, but to buy these, is it some nostalgia, curiosity, or is it the play value, because these do ALOT of nifty things.

Its a shame even now the price and size is what deters me
