There's a bad batch of them with different types of QC issues like bad paint or joints. You can get a good one and anon's noted that before but just be aware of the bad ones that are floating around. Also Jotaro 1st because of his weak headsculpt that was later fixed with Jotaro 1.5. Sort of bites Black Dio jumped a little since you can get him for 2k some time back and even if you got one of the bad ones you scored his yellow punch effects for The World.

You can pull apart the stands they come with and put the ends with the holes together to make one base with two stand arms

SAS's come with a modular base but it only allows 1 character. You generally need to buy another SAS to cover the other side to attach the side with the hole and arm since bases come apart. If you're willing to wait there's special WF packs that have 3 hole sides to accommodate more

...and the general consensus was not to use Gold paint, but to just stick with a solid Yellow paint (or vary up layers to get the more yellow-gold tone), so it's good to know what specific paint brands tend to be used on SAS customs.

Only diavolo has a small eye problem which isn't that bad.

However... I'm french and I got completly fucked by the fucking French Customs. I had to pay 48€ and I'm kinda fucking mad since I got both at a reasonable price.

I'm actually more pissed they picked out a really bad colorway. Design-wise Kiss is amongst my favorites. As for the back peg I figured it's for a more "complete" sculpt look versus the usual peg hole on the back. At least to my guess since my Figuarts have no peg hole and require claw arms, you keep the whole look even though next to no-one will ever pose Kiss from her back to show it off.

Pucci is an oddity since Medicos can pick out such an easy to forget scene and slap that hat as an accessory but no green baby figure.

They have full knowledge of the series but at the end of the day they have to whittle down the final choices for the part at the time. I agree Foo Fighter's should've been a choice since you can easily make up accessories but they ended up ending the line with White Snake.

Usually the boxes are fine. Bigger boxes are a little more likely to get dinged because of shipping.

Which SAS figures come with the three-hole bases? I finally got to open up my Black Rohan and noticed he came with one, not sure if that's normal for Rohans, but it's nice to have something for the Heaven's Door mid-air drawing to sit in.

Not him but it should. I can get the ones the grip the wrists on Johnathan and both Joseph's easily for hamon/ripple effects. You can also chain certain ones on eachother with a bit of balancing to make the effect look better.

No fragile arms but it's really limited in its range of movement since its either single jointed arms and legs or the pointy sculpt of the thighs limiting high leg movement. It's one of the few times I wish Medicos did alter a few bits to make him more posable but the design choices are understandable. At the very least they threw in the proto-Soft and Wet head and two sets of hands with either white or silver paint on the fingers.

When Medicos begins Jojolion and has to either expand on the choices of Protagonist/Allies/Villain to include the family or just cut it the same way they do on parts and whittle down the essentials and have 2-3 allies like Yashuo and Paisley Park.

Until then we have to wait and see where Jojolion goes for a final villain and stand since they usually go last for the line.

The only 'issues' I've had with Soft & Wet are that his legs have a propensity to pop off, but you can just put them right back on. (Actually, I've left the legs off before for Josuke's "Shhh...Soft & Wet" pose.) Also, the little 'pipes' that plug into his hips might come out, but it's really minor. You can just glue them back in if it bothers you. Haven't had any trouble with his arms.

I can't wait for Nut King Call. One of the coolest new designs.

I'll probably go ahead and get them then, the lack of mobility doesn't bother me too much and they still look great. I really hope they do more side characters, for part 8 especially; the designs are some of the most vibrant in the series. A Joubin figure with beetle accessories would be great.

I ordered a white Kira and pink Killer Queen at the beginning of the month, and they've been sitting in Tokyo International for about two weeks so far. No big deal, it's SAL and I know what I paid for, eventually they'll fight their way onto some plane space.

But then I check on my Okuyasu (also SAL, but sending out through Osaka International) and he's already about to get on a plane according to USPS (at least that's what I assume "Your item has been processed through a facility..." means) despite him going through posting on the 16th.

I'm grateful best boy is going so fast considering it's SAL, but damn that's a big difference.

Not a bad choice of hands and faces for either of them; I'd get a little more dynamic in their legs/neck/arm positions and relation to each other. Maybe have them more back-to-back, Joseph rein in his arms a bit closer and head tilted a bit with legs curved in and away, and vice versa for Caesar.

I only have Giorno with both Gold Experience and Gold Experience Requiem posed together using the just one side of a base with 3 holes and even then it feels tricky. The only other multi-figure display I have was using a Di:stage with has a lot of holes that SAS arms can easily fit into and gives better flexibility for more figures.

If you're keen on using Medicos bases then keep an eye out for WF packs on Mandarake that have 3 hole bases or AmiAmi for Di:stages.

Hopefully the anon that posted that pic could explain more into detail on how he made that possible.

It's possible you're not putting the peg all that way in to secure him in place or possibly one of the joints of the base arm has a loose screw that needs to be tightened a bit.

My only other explanation is there's a chance the sculpting of the peg hole on the back is too big for the actual peg from the arm. I know since my Stone Free has never found a perfect peg to fit her in and she's super prone to falling off the arm if I try anything but standing poses.

The frame for it looks like this. It's one of the smaller frames from Koichi, Rohan or Mista wedged between the base of the display arms. You REALLY want to make sure the two halves of the base plates connect solidly or you're bound to have an awful time.

Outside of that, if you want to get really crazy with it you need the clips from Kira or Ceasar to attach additional figures, a decent sense of balance and where to discretely have the display arms lean and figures hold on to one another so the whole thing doesn't topple and a fuckton of patience.

I've been meaning to redo my display, and if I can remember to I'll take a picture of what the display arms look like without the figures on them so you can see what an absolute disaster it is.

Nope, AmiAmi probably had something going or other orders to get out. The moment Japan Post has it moving is where I usually start updating and usually it's within the 3-4 day time frame.
