Maybe on the stockings/boots. But the gloves are just one dull tone (not counting the rainbow) which makes it look a bit unfinished considering that both hair and boots seem to have more going on. Should've had some details at least. And compared to the other designs it's overall really not anything spectacular. Faceplates are also less than great imo.

I never had any issues getting the Nurse to stand; she's got a good ankle range. As for why she didn't do so well, I guess there just isn't that much overlap between horror figure fans and import figure buyers. I can count the number of disappointing figures that widely depart from prototype shots on one hand. Hell, I can name them right now. Figma Snake's face, figma Tsugumori looking like an unpainted kit, figma Tekkaman looking blah, Composite Ver Ka Gurren Laggan losing metallic paint job and a few of those MoMo figures with different finishes/shades of color. I guess a few AGP also qualify for having chunky paint in the hair rather than being smooth like figma but the prototypes never looked all that smooth either.

Outside of that any differences can usually be chalked up to loss of sharpness in sculpt due to change in materials to PVC from harder materials used on prototype. Or tiny little QC issues that can affect anything and are a total random chance sort of thing. Your problem is you are ordering out of hype then when the hype dies off you regret making the order because most figures come out very close to advertised. Then you just decide to let them hold your order for 14 days until they are forced to cancel it due to refusal to e-mail them.

As for store policies...AmiAmi will save anywhere from $2-8 per figure depending on the line, protects figures better in shipping and has a way better customer service policy regarding replacement parts, refunds, etc. All for the low low price of managing your hype and ordering only what you actually want.
