I hate how Book Off looks like a pawn shop now. It used to be just books, dvds, and music. A pretty good second hand bookstore feel.
Now it's like a dirty flea market.
What store is that anyway?
>>5907747
San Diego. They normally have really nice shit, but the collectors that unload there have been leaving broken shit lately. I have to go return it, and I'm really bummed.
Some cool shit I got at San Diego includes g1 reissue sixshot (15$), robot damashii began (20$), RD misb bonta kun (20), Rd nirvash zero (20
I don't mind the pawn shop aspect, the problem seems to be the influx of shitty trashy people unloading clothes and broken appliances.
>>5907878
Eh, they really dont have good stuff.
Almost every toy there is pricy and i can get better deals buying them new elsewhere.
The last time i was able to find a deal there was years ago, when they were carrying Revoltechs and selling them for $10-15. Brand new stuff.
It was like going to Ross but with japacrap.
Picked these up yesterday at my LCS. Not too much other stuff lately
>>5905660
Crop even a pixel. Fixes it.
Got this, it goes pretty good with Robot Damashii's

My September haul, a 3P Megatron (Maketoys Despotron), and my first Legends figure. Saw him when I was going down the aisle, and all those 80's X-Men comics came flashing back to me. Nostalgia has won this round.

>ultra-act gaia
huh, nice find. he's kinda rare nowadays.
>>5914033
Honestly though, how hard is it to mold/cast your own buildings? That's like, -the- thing that people want in miniature scales.
>>5914033
To be fair it's not just 4 buildings. It has two bases that road thing and a bunch of pegs and ports for stage act stands. I get where you're coming from though, it was $24 shipped from HLJ.
>>5914053
I have no idea what thread it was, but someone posted a DIY with some pics for making them out of foam blocks. They looked pretty convincing, I thought.
>>5914124
Considering they only come with four, I'd almost want to pick up more than one set to fill things out. They just look way too half-assed though.
>>5914124
How big are those buildings?
>>5914138
They also have stage act ports on the roof of each building hidden by removable air conditioner/staircase type things.
>>5914152
The tallest building is roughly 8cm.
>>5914169
I forgot to add that I agree though, they should have been $15 at the most.
>>5914169
Pretend I'm an ignorant Amerifat who has never had to use metric in his entire life because literally nothing uses that here.
How big are they in inches?
>>5914184

>They also have stage act ports on the roof
That's... actually really nice. Have you used it yet? I'd think it wouldn't make for a very stable stand base, but I guess you could probably use it like a third leg and prop something up.
>>5914169
I hope we can expect KOs of it soon. I just want one to have an Ultra-act pose on top of it or something.
>>5914187
It has ports on the bottom also that connect it to the base, so it's sturdy. It acts as an extension of the stand itself. At least that's how it's supposed to work according to the directions, I havent tried it yet.
>>5914184
Roughly 3 inches.
>>5914045
Yeah I was surprised to see him. He was used but only 25 bucks
