First for cheeky ALBW Figma packaging hiding the acrylic parts
>>
second for some dude is probably gonna go on a 100+ post tirade about why the TP Link Figma doesn't have an accurate face sculpt and everybody's gonna bite.
>>
>>5892372
Listen I really respect this gimmick you're going for, and I'm all for constructive criticism or playing doubles advocate, but saying a jakks figure is more screen accurate than figma is just trying too hard.
>>
I don't understand what was going on in the last thread, is the TP Link figma bad? I was super excited for it during the WonFes announcement, but now everybody's hating on it?
>>
>>5892686
One or two anal anons =/= eberybody.
>>
>>5892686
It's fine if you like the look, it's just bad compared to the source material. Stay excited if you were from the announcement, anon.
>>
>>5892392
But it is, the jakks uses the 3D model from the game, the figma did not. The figma's an all around nice figure but its accuracy was never really that good, and even though the jakks is cheap with bad mold quality and sloppy paint apps, its sculpt, as its just a rip of the ingame model with a few texture changes, has to be more accurate. I can't say this about OoT link or WW link since neither use the same technique, but SS link did. Trying too hard would be me trying to argue the figure as a whole was better.

For the love of god, could someone put figma bikini Sonico's arms & legs onto that kiddie Link's body? Plus for swapping the face with a cute girlish face.

I made one comment hoping he looks more stupid like he does in the game and everyone else snowballed it from there while I was away.

The face seems a bit too mature for that Link personally. Minus the face, everything else looks great about him.
>>
Picked up Jakks Slippy, still haven't found Zelda. Slippy is so sloppily sculpted, I don't know what the hell's going on with him. At least with OoT Link, I know that the sculptor was going for a dynamic shield-up pose and forgot to fix things, but Slippy has this weird off-kilter upper torso and his hips are completely different, including a weird bulge around his right knee, for some reason. Also saw a peg full of nothing but Falco, which is odd and worrying because it means that the store's getting multiple cases of a single wave, and I don't want another situation like when the line started and we had Yoshi and Wario clogging pegs for months on end.

>>5892914
I see this Figma pop up on eBay for a $1.
Is it worth getting?
>>
>>5892914
Link is tiny so swapping the limbs would make them look disproportionately long. Just the thighs might be ok.
>>
>>5892799
the back of the box shows a render that lines up 1:1 proportionally with the game model, but with the added joints and textures the figure has. This was without any doubt the render used to produce the figure.

Then again, if youve played the game or at least seen how he looks ingame, this should've been obvious from the start.
>>
>>5892884
Anyone know what legs were used? It's a decent-ish ALttP Link.

>>5892884
uh oh
>>
>>5892884
The big bushy eyebrows and wide mouth still give it a boyish look. Could use some eyelashes at outer corner of the eyes too
>>
>>5892884
I've done the same thing with my archetype:she, but just about any schoolgirl with bare legs would probably work fine, although Link has slightly darker skintone than most Japanese girls.
>>
>>5893922
The only bare legs I have in my figures is Revoltech Cattleya.
>>
>>5893981
Those thighs are pretty thick but I think the hip joints are different, right?
>>
>>5893277
If you see any figma for $1 99.99% of the time it's a Chinese knockoff
>>
>>5893277
I own 2 of the non-sunburn version, and aside from the horrid paint apps and one Sonico having two left hands in one of the hand sets, the only real issues I've had were squeaky-tight joints and soft, somewhat flimsy plastic limbs. Decent fodder for customs, and if you're dead-set on a bikini Sonico for non-rape prices then get one (mine were about $20 after the bidding ended).

Cant Find 2.5 or 6 inch metroid anywhere

Cant find Tingle, OOT Zelda, or Skull kid anywhere

Check the toy section while grabbing lunch at Walmart, nothing, and the guy at the register next to me is being rung up for 2 slippys, 2 skull kid, 2 zelda.

ask the guy as were both walking out the door, "Hey do you mind if I buy a zelda or skull kid off Ive been really wanting to buy those"

"sure, I was gonna put em up on ebay but ill sell it you em for 25"

"awesome ill take em both for 25"

"no 25 each"

greatest link of all time doesn't mean it's fantastic, the competition is pretty bad. Bandai would certaibly do the license more justice. LBW link is great looking but its articulation is really just okay.
>>
>>5896166
I'm just baiting you dude, I find what you have to say fascinating.
>>
>>5896173
I know I'm overly anal.. I just feel disappointed by every link so far. LBW link is awesome with his angry face, but the skirt limitations make it difficult for him to look good in any poses where you want to bend his legs forward.
>>
>>5896166
can you give me some info on this bandai thing. did they pick up the license?

website links or any info would be great im out of the loop on this.
>>
>>5896248
Bandai didn't pick up a license for anything Zelda related, this guy (let's call him "the Link sculptor") feels that from an accuracy standpoint, all of the Link's so far, including the upcoming TP Link, have all been "garbage," and that Masaki Apsy doesn't "get" the fundamentals for designing Link, and as a sculptor he has a poor understanding of anatomy among other things.

He said in the previous thread that he hopes Max Factory will lose the license because they don't give a shit about Zelda, and that Bandai would hopefully pick it up since he believes they're better suited, for whatever reason.

(Credit where it's due he did say ALBW was solid, but as you can see above, he expressed his feeling regarding that release too)
>>
>>5896293
ah, thanks. I was looking for info on bandai getting zelda figures and couldnt find anything other than gashapon figures
>>
>>5892686
Im excited for it but it doesnt really look accurate to the game at all. Needs texture and paint detail to give it the grittier look from the game, but the figure looks so smooth and clean.
>>
>>5895249
It's there. It's almost there.
>>
Managed to pick up Zelda at a K-mart. She's a LOT better than the OoT Link, but worse than Skyward Link and Peach(Peach has legs under the dress, Zelda's solid). On the other hand, her wrists and arms are well articulated for her size and while her paint and face sculpt aren't great, the tampo on her dress is great.

Hey! I really like how you pose your figures. It's simple but nice at the same time. However, all the accessories being around there is a bit detrimental to that effect and makes it look cluttered. You might wanna invest in one of these (look up Akro Mils craft cabinet on Amazon, there are smaller ones by this company too if your collection isn't as big as mine) which means they'll still get aired out to avoid plasticizer leaking and still retain the easiness of swapping parts out without going into the box every time. Just don't overfill the compartments or your shit will get scratched up.

other m is a meh suit and my least favorite but it is the best articulated samus so I defacto got it (same situation with SS Link a few years back)

Since you're shooting for me, I'll bite. They care about its profit, but they know no matter how inaccurate or subpar the products are, people eat them up, including myself. I mean, if the guy with higher standards will buy their poorly sculpted decently articulated stuff, imagine how easy it is for casuals with lower standards to buy their stuff. Then again even some casuals see the problems with TP link, which makes me question how not every single genuine toy collector doesn't immediately notice it. Err, well, 2 of those specific people in that group do cosplay stuff so they probably have a better eye for it.

Honestly I wish the World of Nintendo toys were just simplistic vinyl (or Sofubi as some tryhards call it) cause I eat that shit up.

The WoE toys try to be ambitious but the molds are just too broken up by articulation, and the plastic material is a sight for sore eyes, so it doesn't leave for a very gratifying experience to collect.

The Mario and Star Fox figures in particular would have looked great in vinyl, I'd wager.
>>
>>5899446
>Honestly I wish the World of Nintendo toys were just simplistic vinyl (or Sofubi as some tryhards call it) cause I eat that shit up.
Yeah, you're definitely eating shit.
>>
>>5899449
Talk trash all you want but vinyl toys are a fun rabbit hole.

Aside from stylized vinyl that are limited to 200 pieces and charged up the wazoo, pretty much all you can find nowadays on your Japanese toy shelves are Ultraman, and a Godzilla once in a blue moon, but then you have years of classic Bandai toys to catch up on from those lines that date back to the '80s.

Nintendo characters are very vibrant and thus would lend themselves well to Vinyl material (some of which pretty much look like walking vinyl toys) and without broken up articulation in the mold, which honestly doesn't serve much of a purpose with how pointlessly limited they are in the first place.

The Star Fox characters in particular already have that "doll-like" look anyway, they were practically meant for vinyl.
>>
Does anybody know how the quality on the datong/Chinese Tamashii Effect parts is? I'm gonna get as many as I can authentic, but it's a bit hard to find the fire one and I wanna set that up with my SHF Mario and my WON Star Fox figures.

I own WoN Sheik, WoN WW Ganondorf, and WoN Shadow Link. Honestly, the only one I own that I consider shitty is Shadow Link. Sheik is a pretty good figure, and Ganondorf, while having limited poseability, can get into most of the poses I like.

I guess to answer your question, I bought WoN Shadow Link knowing full well that it was a shitty mold because there just isn't much to choose from in regards to that character...and I honestly can't see a decent Shadow Link of that scale being released in the future. I mean, if we didn't get Figma Link repainted black (which would have been beyond easy), then I don't think that we'll ever see a Shadow Link.

Also, when I bought Sheik, I didn't think there'd be any hope of a decent Sheik figure ever being made. But now that Figma stepped up to make TP Zelda a thing, I'm not so sure. If/when Figma Sheik is released, I'll get rid of my WoN Sheik. Its just that, like I said before, it's the only decent option for that character.
>>
>>5899473
Don't expect a Figma Sheik anytime soon. I don't know why a TP Zelda figma would increase your hopes of this...Sheik wasn't even in that game. Still, I share your hopes.
>>
>>5899502
>I don't know why a TP Zelda figma would increase your hopes of this...Sheik wasn't even in that game.
True, but I would have never guessed they'd even bother with Zelda at all. I'm hoping whenever they get to OoT Link, that they'll also do Sheik. I honestly don't care what version of Ganondorf they do, as long as it's not a Wind Waker version, I'll buy it.

completely get your point man

I just keep the nintendo stuff together is all having that bootleg red on the other side of the room alone while all the nendos are in the detolf felt off to me. I just get bootlegs if its super cheap or its a decent knock off. Nendo red is obviously the worst but im still happy with him. blastoise is fucking rad its my favorite design of blastoise.

the gashapons are all made in china anyway half of em are real but I bought the others in a set cause i mainly wanted train outfit link.

as far as the ocarina and the shields on the wall there really isnt any realistic official alternative sadly
>>
>>5899796
>Want $100 Red figure
>Don't have $100
>See a comparable bootleg for $30
I don't see the issue in getting a bootleg of a limited Nendoroid when they're almost statueshit anyways, it's not like the joints will be floppy when there are none. Paint apps usually aren't terrible on them either, but like normal QC there can be bad eggs.
>>
>>5899808
bruh never pay 30 for a bootleg nendo you can get em for 15 to 20 shipped
>>
>>5899808
The issue is that aside from bootlegs not always being comparable in quality, and having obvious tics that scream "i'm a bootleg," they have no inherent value, and from an ethical standpoint you support scumbags that take the craftmanship of artist and sculptors that make said merchandise are reality, essentially enabling them to profiteer from the hard work of others. It's the same ethical debate that's existed within the model kit community for years due to recasting.

You're parading around a fake product and that's the weird part in me, cause while collecting does come from personal satisfaction, there's obviously of pride you should have in doing so. If you have enough money to engage in this hobby, you shouldn't have to resort to bootlegs, and in the worst case scenario there's the (albeit slim) chance of a reissue, or sales, or the occasional collector selling off their possessions. There's always a chance for something better if you're not satisfied with the obviously walled off eBay prices in which nobody will purchase in the first place, patience is key.
>>
>>5899833
>you support scumbags that take the craftmanship of artist and sculptors that make said merchandise are reality, essentially enabling them to profiteer from the hard work of others.
Or you can support your friendly neighborhood scalper...
>>
>>5899850
>Or you can support your friendly neighborhood scalper...

How about you try reading the rest of my post.

In any case I'd still support an obviously scalper over bootlegs, at least the former is an asshole doing legitimate business.
>>
>>5899982
But how does that explain why people get so mad when anybody says they don't like this stuff? Looking at this thread it's like they insulted their mothers or something.
>>
>>5900029
This. Scalpers cant give me a chance to get the properly sized bowser for retail price
>>
>>5900025
This is the same reason people collect Marvel Legends, except more excusable.
>>
>>5899982
The point is that by buying bootlegs, you're enabling bad people, you support a bad practice, but once again that's only if you care about the ethical side of merchandising, pretty much any model kit artist will tell you how much they dislike recasting.

To reiterate, you're using absurd aftermarket prices as a justification, and scalping is not comparable to bootlegging. You have a choice in not supporting unreasonable scalpers (I even mentioned multiple scenarios in which it's possible to get aftermarket releases for much more moderate prices) but a bootleg is a bootleg, you don't have to support them either, and there's quite a few downsides in doing so.
>>
>>5900042
im not talking about a bootleg marvel legend here Im talking about a limited release item that sells out in minutes with no reasonable options either way.
unless the manufacture decides to produce more down the line, which is rare, then youre shit out of luck.

If theres a market for anything then bootleggers and scalpers are obviously there.
Of course im enabling a bad practice by purchasing a recast but in the end its a recast of a limited item with no chance of a reprint.
The creators have already got all the money they wanted. hell im always looking for the official one for a good price but thats no fucking guarantee.

you keep bringing up model kit makers but model kits are more or less readily available and they usually get a new iteration in the future with better engineering. so instead of getting a Daban RX Im very happy knowing that there is always a bandai RX 78 readily available for a long time with a newer version easily in the future.
>>
>>5900063
Exclusives and "limiteds" aren't as impossible to obtain as you make them out to believe, and even if the price is spiked after release, which is to be expected, so what? You're a collector, it's rough I know but you should be able to meet that shift in pricing if you truly care about the figure, you should be financially secure enough to handle that.

Like why do you wanna be "that guy with the bootleg?" Sure you have the gratification of owning a sought after figure for less than the actual demand, but look at what happened with this guy, he posts his collection and received nothing but responses regarding the legitimacy of it. "Nice bootleg, how do you feel about owning a bootleg, do you know that's a fake, there's probably more bootlegs there etc."
Nothing nice or supportive, people are just fixated on the idea of him owning bootlegs.

For me personally I have a ton of OCD when it comes to noticing little things off with my collection, I'd never be able to shake off the feeling of owning a bootleg.
>>
>>5900086
I dont really care about owning a bootleg skull kid or red nendoroid, theyre fine to me, red I tried painting cause I wanted a GB Red way before the actual one was announced and it came out like shit but its wasnt a big deal.

Posting the collection. when asked about the risers and getting replies saying
"Nice bootleg"
dont really stand out that much in my opinion cause anyone posting any of theyre collection will get shit for something from one person
"Nice Jakks" "Do you even pose" "Clusterfuck"

static figures are nice honestly the red nendoroid is dirt shit but I like it for personal reasons. hell wouldnt be surprised it shows up in a bad customs thread.
>>
>>5900086
I get what you mean buy limited and exclusives I waited a long time to get my hands on my gurren lagann

As far as red goes Im not a giant pokemon fan but I love blastoise cause nostalgia so with blastoise in hand, I wanted a trainer. I see him go for 120+ at the time so no way in hell im getting that. so I got the red painted it, got my kicks and he sits there. first exposure to nendoroid ended up actually liking the figures so I got link down the line which was my first official one

Skull kid, I was super pissed that he sold out while I was in line to preorder him and when I saw a bootleg for 15 bucks I got em on the spot

Red may dissapear in the near future when I find actual GB Red down the line that doesnt ass fuck me. (Honestly want the set just to own blue since I like him alot more)

Skull kid will probably never go away, not even when I get the Jakks in I just like the quality of it honestly.

Scalping is at worst an asshole move, it's taking stock and holding on until there's an opportunistic moment to capitalize on late adopters. However it's still a legitimate tactic, and these scalpers are still buying and supporting the original artist and company. Even collectors are aware of the simple notion that over time their merchandise is worth more, and thus will ask for a price bigger than what they originally paid for (albeit generally not scalper levels, lest they never sell) to account for demand, so when you get down to it your average, knowledgeable collector isn't too far off anyway. How far does the rabbit hole go down where anything above MSRP is scalping?

If somebody, whether desperate or ignorant, opts to pay for a ludicrous scalper price, that's their prerogative, some scalper prices are disrespectful to an informed collector, but it's still a business of legitimacy, with bootlegs in question they steal the original creators work and use a creation that's not their own to mass-produce and profiteer, while being disingenuous about the legitimacy of their product. At least scalpers will tell you it's the real deal, and adversely more desperate consumers are supporting the "real" creation, but this is no different than all those grimey vendors at Comic Con trying to sell you shitty bootleg DVDs with rainbow subs.

You're using the non-existent payment through aftermarket as a comparison, much like how somebody said earlier "the artist already received their cut," but that's completely irrelevant to the point, or principle, of the situation. One side is just being an asshole, the other side is genuine scumbaggery, practically stealing from the artist and infecting the market for more ignorant consumers.

It genuinely puzzles me how much people are willing to defend bootlegs since every other community I'm apart of pretty much cracks down on bootleg topics. The comparison towards scalping is interesting, being the unique boogieman of /toy/
>>
>>5900292
You keep brining up that bootleggers are profiting off someone else work, but what do you think scalpers are doing?

What exactly is the distinction between 'an ass hole move' and 'scumbaggery?'

The reason the scalper 'boogieman' is being brought up is because for older, out of production figures, that is the only option other than a bootleg. They were not brought into this discussion as some sort of strawman. And the fact that you can't figure that out says a lot about your critically thinking skills, not that your posts haven't already shown us your deficiency in that department.

I'm not defending bootlegs, I'm just not condemning them. They have their place especially for products that are out of production or that were needlessly limited. A perfect example is the skull kid statue that started this discussion. There was absolutely no reason for so few to be available that they sold out pre-orders in literal minutes.
>>
>>5900214
>being this concerned with corporations

do you buy or sell used toys? If you do, you're also hurting their magical profit margin.
>>
>>5900431
>You keep brining up that bootleggers are profiting off someone else work, but what do you think scalpers are doing?

Scalpers are profiteering off an aftermarket, where the fuck do you think these products come from, magical scalper land? They buy official stock from the original distributor and either sell or stubborning hold on to them, it's an asshole move because their intention is to take advantage of late adopters, but it's still a valid business decision as the companies/artist are properly supported from the get go and they're distributing an honest product with no leeching influence from the artist.

Bootlegs pollute the community, this is why we have to tell every new collector they need to avoid certain regions, and how it's basically impossible to buy OOB products at vendor kiosk in conventions, while creating an intricate series of documentation and "rules" so they can simply receive the actual fucking product they want.

Beyond bootlegs leeching off of the original artist as I've said a million times, and the ramifications of simply supporting, this has long since had a negative affect on the side of collectors.

>And the fact that you can't figure that out says a lot about your critically thinking skills, not that your posts haven't already shown us your deficiency in that department.

Did I trigger a local bootlegger?

How many shitty knockoffs you have in your collection that you feel the need to side with criminals over artist? Go cry somewhere else with your cheap ass, I feel no sympathy for people like you that can't even collect merchandise crap correctly.

Now watch him pretend he has no bootlegs and he's just playing devil's advocate, though it doesn't matter, he's already a lost cause that clearly has no relationship with kit artist or sculptors in the first place, and can't see any issue with art being stolen for profit. (You're probably from /v/ like many other talentless cretins around here)
>>
>>5900465
>Scalpers are profiteering off an aftermarket,
Yes, profiting off of someone else's work. They are literally doing what you said was one of the reasons that scalpers are so deplorable.

>it's still a valid business decision as the companies/artist are properly supported from the get go

Do you still not understand out a bootleg of an out of production figure has absolutely no baring on the sales or profits from that figure? It's sold out. They have literally sold every last one of them. How does a bootleg do anything to prevent the original producers from making money?

And yes, as I see you've already made assumption, my collection is bootleg free. Like I said, I'm not defending them, but your arguments are ridiculous. Bootleggers fill a niche for late comers with a limited income. If it doesn't hurt you, why are you so damn upset about it?
>>
>>5900521
This kid really thinks selling official merchandise you bought and supported is "profiteering off of somebody else's work."
>>
>>5900531

>>

Scalpers buy the official merchandise from distributors, ergo they support the line and artist. The scenario in them selling said merchandise is an opportunistic venture, they pay & support, but expect something back in the long run, which is essentially what collectors do in the first place. If I were to sell the figma Link that I pre-orered and imported, I would not be "profiteering off the original artist work" because that's retarded, and scalping is just an expanded concept of that anyway.

Scalpers are an exploitation of the market, which is inherently valid when you get down to it that every collector is aware of this concept and takes advantage of it, because why sell for MSRP if there's demand?

Bootlegging is an exploitation of the artist, even if you generously assume they supported a single model, said model is still being copied and produced multiple times, padding the wallet of somebody that has invested with the creation of said product. All profits go to the bootlegger that continues his/her shady career and almost nothing (once again, generously assuming any merchandise was actually supported in the process of bootleg creations) goes toward the original distributor, just so they can indigenously distribute cheap fakes.

Scalpers disrespect late collectors, where as bootleggers both disrespect and exploit the artist that give us the chance to have said products in the first place.
Do the math on what's worst, not a single sculptor you ever meet will support recasting.

All the bootleg apologist should read this and gain some perspective: http://www.gremlins.com/kitbuilders/recasts.html

>>5900552
>IYERALLY who cares if there are unofficial figures?

Because they create a dishonest market, you dumbass? You can't trust anything from most catch-all websites like Amazon unless they're TAMISHII NATIONS APPROVED (or by any other specific distributor) and when you're in the wild you require a set of reference points unless you're very ventured.
>>
>>5900595
So scalpers buy and wait. Bootleggers cast, paint and assemble. Again, how are scalpers not profiting off someone else's work?
>>
>>5900606
>Again, how are scalpers not profiting off someone else's work?

Read the first three words of your post.
>>
>>5900595
Who is the Skull Kid bootleg hurting?

Not the consumer, as it was pointed out in the original image, it's easy to tell the real from the bootleg. If someone chooses to by a real one, it is easy to weed out the fakes.

Not the original sculptor, they've gotten all the money they will out of this figure.

Not the company that produced them, as they have sold every single one they created.

It only hurts those trying to profit off of the short supply of the original statue.
>>
>>5900609
They then sell it back for a higher price. Do you not understand what 'profit' means?
>>
>>5900611
Nothing wrong with bootlegging guys, it's only stopped production of entire cast lines, and ran casters out of the industry.

A-okay....

>>5900613
They make a profit off of things they genuinely bought and own, and ultimately give an honest product, if not at an honest price. Bootleggers copy existing sculpts, parade inferior works as the real thing, and profit off the art of others rather than creating original works, while giving almost nothing in return.

And as said above, they also cause many creators to leave both the industry and hobby. For lack of a better tumblr buzzword, it's pretty fucking "PROBLEMATIC."
>>
>>5900616
So you've finally admitted that scalpers are also profiting off someone else work?
>>
>>5900616
>Who is the Skull Kid bootleg hurting?
You didn't answer the question.
>>
>>5900622
It enables bootlegging which inherently harms both the market and casters.

Also the first statement is disingenuous since it still require referential knowledge of the differences, and thus ignorant consumers are fooled as well.

Lastly you're once again claiming that the sculptor isn't harmed because they've already been paid, but until you find a source by said person that speaks on the situation of mass Skull Kid bootlegging, it's all conjuncture on your part. The reality is that plenty of casters and sculptors quit the industry due to mass bootlegging, it is a problem and it is hurting people.
>>
>>5900628
Did they dock the sculptor's pay because the bootleg exists? Get fucking real.

try to rise the arm cannon.
the shoulder is literally a figma hip joint: it's three ball pegs, one for the pauldron, one for the arm and the other is the one that conects the entire thing to the body. at first it can feel fragile but you just need to be soft in moving them until you finally loose them enough
>>
>>5903318
it didn't, taking a stylized design and stylizing it further to the point of it looking worse isn't to anyone's benefit. Also partswapping instead of articulation. You know there's something wrong when the jakks looks better and has more posability.

Yet, we can get more poses out of the nendo, and not see the joints.
>>
>>5906086
I don't think it's really fair to call Toon Link a stylized design, pretty much every Link since the original has been through a unique take, it's just that Wind Waker went off the deep end.

The Nendoroid obviously can't capture 1/1 perfection due to the line's stylistic contradiction of Link's anatomy, but the line's "aesthetic" is obviously fitting of the character.

Compare Majora's Mask Link with Toon Link/Wind Waker Link and it's clear which one looks more natural.

>>
>>5906282
It actually is. I bought one just because I love Windwaker along with Falco and I can say for sure that Jakks has really upped their game lately. I regret some of my WoN purchases but I really love my Windwaker Link. Although I have two Windwaker Link nendoroids so I love those the most.

When we get Arwings to put em in, THEN I'll open them up. I was think making papercraft Arwings, but with white cardboard or something. The design of the star fighter is all direct angles, so at least it shouldn't be too hard to put together.

I found mine yesterday. He's really good! A bit pre-posed, but that doesn't hurt him too badly. Surprising amount of articulation though.

Definitely an a B+ to A figure. I thought it was funny that he was packaged on a Wind Waker card, though. Like the insert below him showed Wind Waker, not Majora's Mask.
>>

Hell yeah! So, by the end of the year, he should start showing up.

Apparently. The one in my town closed and after hitting up my local walmarts and target hunting for the new wave and failing miserably, I decided to go to Toysrus in the next town. I failed yet again, but there was a Kmart across the street. I went in and found Zelda,

I was looking for Skullkid so didn't buy her. A week later I went though my usual route. Failed again, but saw that Zelda was STILL THERE. Bought her. Now she's on my shelf keeping the Ocarina I intend to give to Skullkid warm.

tl;dr yup.
