I know, Hero Factory was great.
>When your favorite toy line was discontinued, but gets a spiritual successor so fucking boring it's a wonder their webstore is still running
Goddammit, Modibot. Even compared to plain ol' Stikfas its boring.
>>5882672
which is?
>Have favorite toyline growing up
>Toyline changes, eventually ends
>toyline replaced by ones with totally different aesthetics
>Find out your toyline was just a subsidiary of a much older toyline
>Older fans didn't like your series much
>And they have more say in what gets made
It almost makes me wish Beast wars wasn't a Transformers line, but tis own thing. Maybe then we could have a BW revival running concurrently with the G1 stuff. It sucks seeing other companies doing a bunch of updates of other 90's lines I grew up with, yet BW has gotten maybe 5 figures within the last few years. And its all show based stuff; I was a fa of the toyline more than anything.

>hey guys! our toys are inspired from xevoz!
>here's something completely different!
>>5883083
so sad we never got Xevoz wave 5, or those Evangelion Stikfas

Also
>Older version of the toyline's show and toys are utter shit compared to the one you grew up with.
>Unfortunately the nostalgiafags of those control things so they're viewed as timeless masterpieces despite being shit.
>>5883191
I feel this so much. It'll happen, it's just like with politics, you gotta wait for the old people to die off.
>>5882685
Sadly not as great as it could've been if it wasn't for Lego.
>when a company makes stuff from series you like
>but not the characters you want because >b-b-but they're villains!
I bet we're gonna get cucked out of an MP Megatron too.
>>5884741
>MP Megatron
Beast Wars, even.
>gave up on anime back in 2007
>just recently picked up watching stuff I missed out on
>can't get figures of characters without paying late fees
>some of my favorite characters don't even have figures
>tfw

Shinkis. Frame Arm Girls and Megami Device are both a license to print money and relatively similar and Koto has Starf and Arnval kits that are coming out any month now.
>>5882672
Equip&Prop and Makai Kadou!
>>5882670
>when your favorite toy get bastardized and is successful
>>5883191
I feel your pain.
But at least we have 2 solid looking Beast Wars characters getting Masterpieces. Plus, there are 2 3rd party Optimal Optimuses coming out...so that's a good start, right?
>when your favourite toy line gets discontinued and you don't know if the American or Japanese fanbase is to blame

>Eva Stikfas
boy....a sea of things that never were, i would have loved the Angels as Stikfas
>>5886724

And I miss plain old stkfas.
