My current relationship is the coolest with it. In the past I had a boyfriend who thought I was wasting my money and a girlfriend who just thought it was "quirky." My current boyfriend also collects, but only kaiju figures. He things my figmas and shinkis are cool.

I only collect Legos, but my wife routinely texts me at work every time the local flea market FB page has a bulk collection for sale to ask if I want her to get it for me.

My gf hunted down a Scarabus for me last Christmas. She doesn't collect or anything, but she doesn't mind my stuff. She's a total bike need so it's not like she has room to talk.

My boyfriend is very minimalist in what he owns, so sometimes I worry he might find my collecting to be childish or over the top. But he's very supportive of my hobbies, and listens to me talk about the stuff I buy.

We really are opposites, but I think it's why we work.

My girlfriend spent $200 on a Chris Redfield statue and another $200 on a Leon one. Our room is full or amibos/statues/plushies/figmas and all her shit from cons. I don't even have any toys.

Back when I had just one figure I was at a con with her and considering buying the NECA Ultimate Leatherface. She convinced me it was a good investment.
Unbeknownst to me, she'd bought Figma Pyramid Head and Nurse for a "Villain's Shelf" in my room. It's coming along nicely.

My girl enjoys it 90% of the time.. she got me into collecting 3A but I don't do that anymore since they've run the company into the ground with barbie figures.

Nowadays I collect figuarts and other shit and she's not a huge fan of some. But she collects too so I don't really care. If she wants me to keep paying the rent she'll stfu about it. :)

She collects Monster High, so it's not really a big deal. Most overlap we have in our collecting is getting excited over original molds/no part reuse.
