I think the problem is that no Soundwave/Blaster toy has really been relevant long enough for them to make anything but the A-list cassettes (and their redecos). This time, however, all the cassettes are getting "real" alt modes on top of it, so even if there's no SW/Blaster on the shelf, I think they could justify putting it out. Not to mention, the new team is pretty committed to completing sets when they can. We are getting Kickback now after all this time, so who knows?

To be quite and perfectly honest I'd really like a non-transforming MP Megatron that just came with a couple gun accessories as his transformation.

I've got the set and like it, but there are flaws. The layout of the colors on the twins looks really bad in alt mode. It's just so random and patchwork. I think the set would have just been better if every toy didn't have every color on it. Like if one was mostly red and black, another mostly red and green, etc. You'd still get the unity when combined without them being as busy on their own.

A)It filled a completely different niche thanthe two 3Pones, though. Laserwave looks like he walked right off the cartoon. The 3Ps are updated toy versions. Two of the three existing 3P Megatrons do look fairly cartoon accurate, thoughI'd say they fall more inline with the hybrid animation/toy style of the MPs from Grimlock until Prowl or so. If we get a 2.0 Megatron it'd probably fit in with the newer stuff more

If you've got a spare of this little blaster that came with legends Prime and Cliffjumper, you can cut each gun where indicated here, then file the leftover nub on the tank barrel into sort of a square, and it can nicely interlock with the cavity in the end of the other gun, which makes them a lot easier and more sturdy to glue together. Then I hit it with a can of Tamiya black primer I had lying around. Easy as pie!

Like a few of you I too got rid of most of my transformers. I still had one of my first, Rotorstorm got him at a garage sale, I missed out on G1 so I had no clue what the Autobot symbol ment or who it was. I've had a g1 twintwist and barrage since I was like 3 or 4. The kicker is that this was like the really early 2000's.

Twintwist ain't great obviously and I think I might butcher it to give the drills to Rook, but Barrage is pretty nice. One of the horns and some of the legs were broken when I got it, and I have no idea where his wings are anymore, but he's cool.

I didn't actually discover his actual robot arms for a while. I just use the bug legs as arms. It was a cool realization when i did discover the arms, though. (I want a modern barrage- bonus points if it's not just a bombshell repaint)

There's a specialty store in Tolyo called Monster-Japan that imports things like Hasbro's Transformers, Marvel Legends, etc.

The prices they charge are outrageous though. ¥2000 for a legends, ¥4000 for a deluxe, ¥6500 for a Voyager and ¥9900 for a Leader. They do get stuff in way faster than North America though.

With the base under siege by Overlord's troops and the space bridge network broken, Grand believes the only place where the humans can be safe is in the Legends Universe, and coordinates the opening of a portal with Fortress (who is less than enthused to receive the humans, but relents when his brother calls him out on getting too used to a peaceful life). Arriving in the Legends world, the former Headmaster Juniors are reunited with their Autobot counterparts, Minerva, Cab, and Shūta, who explain that they joined Fortress's crew in search of them. Well it's always an option. I already pre-ordered the Takara cause I like the faced Brainstorm since I did watch the Japanese Headmasters so I am completely fine with that. At this point the Takara would be infinitely cheaper than the Hasbro especially being in Canuck land we don't really have Walgreens unless you don't bother driving to Niagara or don't mind paying scalped prices for that version.
