I've got the Seven Legendary Riders plus Tackle. I promised myself that was all I was going to get and I've stuck with it.
I didn't have any attachment to Sky Rider and beyond, so it was pretty easy. Though I was tempted with ZX, Shin, and ZO, just because of the designs (and I liked the movies).

Just got the new Figuarts Ultraman yesterday. This thing is amazing. Kinda surprised it isn't a bigger deal among collectors.

Poses so naturally. Looks so great. It is, I think, to the Figuarts line what the ANIME Dom is to the Robot Damashii line; a pinnacle of show accuracy and great hand-candy.

Much looking forward to Zoffy. And I can only hope they do as well with a new Ultra Seven.

The Ultra-Acts did nothing for me. The red bits had too obvious a plastic sheen and they always felt fiddly and awkward to pose. Plus the proportions were too far off from the funky-silly show suits for my taste.

I've had... something more than thirty figuarts, mostly riders, and 4 Ultra-acts. This new Ultraman is my first figuart this year, bought on a lark cause he happened to be in stock at HLJ, and the probably the first I'll actually keep since Riderman, (whose figuart I'm inexplicably fond of).

Yeah, I'm impressed by it. And that's one of those things that make this hobby fun. Did everyone else get lemons or somethin'?

So I'm the anon last thread who bought a pretty cheap Thunder Megazord off eBay and I gotta say, it didn't crumble in my hands after getting it out of the box. It's actually pretty sturdy, and I didn't notice anything broken on it but the seller made some weird choices on displaying the figure. Mainly that the legs were switched and the Red Dragon Thunderzord's legs were facing forward so the full megazord could have knees for whatever reason. I fixed that no problem. All it needs now is the bo staff and a new set of stickers. On top of that I got a spare Red Dragon Thunderzord and the Assault team stand. All in all, not a bad haul for less than 60 bucks.

Joker and Skull manage to make the awful original Double body work somehow. I think it has to do with them being pretty stylish designs on their own. They still have major issues, but they're easily the best figures of the original Double line.

Tell me about it. I got into it with Fourze, and was only getting him and the few Zodiarts they had out at the time (Libra and Scorpion) but ended up getting Leo, Virgo, both Meteors, all the TV episode States (so no double rocket or fusion) most of his modules, Machine Massigler, and Power Dizer.

Then got into AkibaRanger (have everything except the tie-in Sentai and Corporate Mook). This includes Itassha Robo.

Recently I purchased Nadeshiko, 3 of the Figuarts Zero Zodiarts, the astronaut suit, Sky Dain, and some anime figuarts (Ranma 1/2, Lupin III, and Sailor Moon).

For their time, they were better than anything else available. While they may be a bit lanky, bit dated compared to say an SS Figuarts, they are still great figures.
If you like The First/The Next suit designs, it's unlikely you will ever see a better option come along at that scale.

Definitely, making it as goofy as they did takes away so much of the appeal they hope to get from collectors. Drive was already considerably more kiddy than the shows before it, but it had the soap opera behind it to at least keep some collectors interested, Ghost doesn't even have a decent level of that to go off of.

I'm honestly kinda optimistic for Ex-Aid though, funnily enough. According to the pictures for those trading cards things the chibi state for the riders is an actual physical suit, so that somewhat assuages the worry that we were going to be stuck with an unbearable cartoon throughout the show.

I think Mach was cast black and then painted to be white, while Zangetsu was just cast in white.
